I received this as a gift a couple of years ago from the mother in law, I had never smelt this before and upon opening I was a little worried as she tends to buy me fragrances she likes (and we tend to have quite different tastes normally). The packaging is really quite basic, it comes in a nice black box with gold writing on the front, and I find that because it's simple, it gives it a classic feel. The bottle is very simple looking too, just a small square glass bottle, with the product brand and name written near the bottom in bold black writing. The lid is golden and shaped much like a chunky T-Bar. Under the lid is an easy to use spray which dispenses just the right amount of fragrance, quite evenly too. I was actually quite surprised with the in-laws choice on this one, normally, Christmas day is spent thanking them and then in the New Year, the perfume gets put on EBay however I really liked this fragrance. According to basenotes.com, the fragrance is as follows: Top Notes - Mandarin, Peach, Bergamot, Lychee Middle Notes - Jasmine, Muguet, Madonna Lily Base Notes - Vanilla, Amber, Musk, Vetiver, Plum Upon first spray, there is a nice fruity aroma comes through immediately; these subside and are quickly replaced with musk and vanilla giving it lovely depth. Although there is a hint of jasmine in the fragrance, I would say the perfume does have a slight suggestion of flowers, but I could actually pick jasmine out, I can detect my favourite flower, Lily. To me, I would say the fragrance is definitely fruitier rather than floral. All was going well with this fragrance but the big let down came when I realised that the staying power was poor. About an hour after first spraying, we left the in laws and went to my parents house, my mum asked what I had received for Christmas and I put my wrist to her nose so she could smell - there was nothing! Thinking I had perhaps not sprayed much, I proceeded to spray a bit more. Like me, my mum commented how nice it was but again, after about an hour, I could hardly detect anything which was very disappointing. The fragrance comes in three different sizes, 30ml which retails for around £40, 50ml for around £38 and 75ml for around £72. In the same fragrance, there are also body lotions and shower creams available which retails for around £25 - £30 for 100ml. Occasionally, there are gift sets available for quite reasonable prices too, quite often these work out better value for money than buying the fragrance alone. Overall, I would recommend this fragrance however for me, the staying power is really poor and for that reason, I would only give it 4 out of 5 stars! Thanks for reading.
I had been looking for a new perfume after wearing Kenzo Flowers for a long time and it becoming too strong for my senses. When walking through Duty Free I decided to try Dolce & Gabbana "The One" and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Appearance "The One" comes in a rectangular bottle with a gold rectangular lid. It is a very heavy set glass bottle which makes it a very sturdy perfume bottle to be carrying around. I do a lot of travelling across the country just now and the bottle is holding up well whilst being thrown in and out of the car every weekend and being knocked off all my other beauty products in the travel bag. It does however make it quite a heavy bottle to be carrying in your handbag, and I only have the 50ml bottle. This can be combatted by one of the little perfume travel tubes you can buy now though. Smell As with every perfume the company describes the perfume as having a number of different scents combining together "mandarin, peach, jasmine, vanilla, amber and musk", but to the everyday perfume wearer who is looking for a nice smelling perfume I do not fully understand what they mean by this. To me, the perfume has a subtle musk and floral smell which is not overpowering to wear. I stopped wearing my last perfume because I felt it became too overpowering and it was all I could smell when I applied it. This perfume is very subtle to me when I put it on but can still be smelled by other people when they are near you. It is a very elegant smell which has prompted many compliments. The musk in the perfume helps reduce the sweet smell that some perfumes have which makes them unwearable by most people. Price As with most perfume this product does come with quite a costly price tag, roughly £50 for a 50ml bottle. I do not feel that this is overly pricey for a good smelling perfume which is on average the same price as many of the other branded perfumes you can buy. This perfume is also long lasting and there is no need to keep reapplying throughout the day, I put it on in the morning and tend to reapply at lunchtime and that is enough to last you until the end of the day.
MY EXPERIENCE I recieved a sample of this perfume a few years ago in selfridges, and I adored it! However it was too expensive at the time, so I didn't think about it again. Then I saw the glamorous advert with the model, and it reminded me of it. Therefore I asked for some for my birthday, and fell in love with it all over again. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT IT The smell is sensational! When I wear it I get a lot of compliments about it. Its quite strong so you don't need to wear a lot which is handy since the bottles aren't that big. It also stays on for a long time so there is no need to keep re-spraying. I put mine on in the morning and I could still smell it over 24 hours later. The bottle is also gorgeous and the gold effect makes the product look so glamorous and beautiful - I would say that this is the signiture perfume for D&G. WHAT I DON'T LIKE SO MUCH The price of course. What else do you expect from Dolce & Gabbana? Thats pretty much all. OVERALL I would recommend it to a friend, even though I wouldn't want them to smell the same as me! I can't think of another product it smells like, its totally original. Personally I do believe that it is worth the price.
Having been on the lookout for a new perfume and remaining indecisive for quite some time, I decided to take the leap and buy The One. I'm glad I did! It has a lovely floral fragrance without being too overpowering or sickly sweet, and I've used it for both going to work and out to parties. I've personally found it to 'last' quite a while and haven't had to use half the bottle reapplying several times a day!I know some may be dubious about how expensive the brand can be, though if you shop around you can get it at a decent price!
Having worn Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue for years, I decided to try this out when visiting my local department store. The packaging looks good, and I've found I have never had problems with the D&G brand. I was initially unsure about it, the perfume seemed a little too floral for me, but once I had worn it for a couple of hours, I was very surprised just how well it smelt on me. The perfume is floral, with vanilla overtones, and can be worn during the day, as well as for going out in the evening. I was so impressed with it, that I have left big notes all around the house to inform my partner that this is The One for my birthday. The perfume can be a little pricey, but looking around you should be able to find it at a reasonable price. This definately will become my signature perfume.
Oh... The One, the Italian fashion giant Dolce and Gabbana got me all caught up with this one. The One conjured up ideas that this perfume was going to blow my mind, and then some. It would also be the perfume for every age, season and occasion. Sadly, I think they sadly missed this by making it a little generic for my tastes. I was fortunate to receive a Christmas gift set of this one which I picked out myself, which contained the 50ml bottle, along with an 8ml roll on. The big bottle does represent everything Dolce and Gabbana wanted this fragrance to be modern, classic with a glamourous presence on your vanity. The bottle is rectangular and quite chunky glass, making this fragrance really heavy, I could not carry this in a bag; thank goodness I got a roll on! the lid is again big, brash and gold, I find it slips off rather easily, again not good for travel. My lid also seems to be covered in finger marks, which does not look so great on the vanity. The spray itself is standard for the perfume of this quality, being easy to use, and spraying a fine mist of the fragrance up to about 10 inches away. I personally find the shape to be just right to fit in the hand with my 50 ml, however I can't help thinking that the 100 ml would be too big and awkward, and probably weighs more than me! It is also worth noting that the fragrance has one of those lids that can be removed for filling a Travalo perfume atomiser, which I would recommend with such a bulky bottle. The One is an Eau de Parfum, there is an eau de toilette version, as well as the spin off Rose The One. So what does this delicious looking, (stain free) gold juice smell like? I have grabbed the notes off Fragrantica, and I will also then comment on my experience of the fragrance. Top Notes (smell first) Lychee, mandarin, peach and bergamot. Heart Notes Lily, lily of the valley, jasmine and plum. Base Notes (the ones that last the longest) Vanilla, musk, vetiver root and amber. Do I agree with what Dolce and Gabbana and Fragrantica say? A big fat no! This is meant to be a fruity-floral oriental, I smell not one of those fruity notes, the jasmine is weak for my liking, and the lack of spice and exotic feel to this fragrance would put in a floral vanilla musk category. What I seem to be smelling on my skin is white flowers, and all of those base notes, yes they are true to their word. It does develop, but I get no top notes (unless they are solely alcohol based), the middle notes for an hour, two at most, before the base kicks in. The vanilla musk, is certainly strong and sticks around. I don't love it, neither do I hate it, it's merely an 'oh that's quite nice' reaction. The fragrance does have excellent longevity on my skin, probably eight hours, and I would describe the projection as moderate. I would like to point out longevity and the perception of the fragrance is a personal one, and is very much dependent on body fragrance. D&G call this a 'fragrance with character' I expected a big Glamazon Giselle type fragrance that would really turn heads. I would say this is for a much more quiet and reserved character, more like Leona Lewis before she got a fringe. I do think this is such a shame Dolce and Gabbana can produce some stunning perfumes with oodles of character the discontinued By, Dolce Gabanna and Light Blue have all got the character and have the head-turning reaction when you wear them. When and who should wear this? With all that vanilla-musk this is a definite autumn-winter affair, and could probably do office, casual and night perfectly well. Age wise, I'm in my 20s and I find this powdery, so I would say 30 plus, but if you are young and like powdery, but don't want to smell like a baby, this one would be a nice, inoffensive choice. If you're looking to purchase this one it is available in all big department stores along with The Perfume Shop and Boots. A 50ml bottle of this from Boots will set you back an eyewatering £52! This is a just ok, nice, fragrance from D&G with good longevity, but without the wow factor I can't justify this price. I give this 3 stars, nice, but an expensive, OK fragrance. A high society lady with exquisite taste, but a lacklustre personality. Review will also appear on Ciao under the same username.
After receiving Dolce & Gabbana's The One as a birthday gift i could not wait to open and take a closer look. I found the fragrance to be soft and floral but with a musky vanilla running through it, it does smell feminine and sophisticated without being overwhelmingly strong. I find it to be long lasting and suitable as both a day and evening fragrance and have received several compliments whilst wearing. The packaging is just as sophisticated and oozes luxury being shiny and gold with large bold letters which clearly shows Dolce & Gabbana the one, the bottle itself looks expensive with its square, glass design and gold lid. I would highly recommend this perfume to women that want that little bit of affordable luxury, it makes me feel confident, sexy and takes pride of place on my dressing table, definatley my new favourite! LOVE IT ! ! !
I love smelling nice, who doesn't, and as I result I tend to wear perfume the majority of the time. I'm one of these people who have a perfume for every occasion. And Dolce and Gabbana's "The One" has earned its place to sit on my perfume shelf. Being given a perfume as a gift is always a risky situation if you haven't used it before but I am so glad I received this perfume as it is absolutely divine. The box itself is gold, so you know you are getting a luxurious product and as you open the box it just gets even more so. The perfume comes in a square bottle with a big gold lid that looks like a block of pure gold. It definitely looks expensive. Although this might seem like a lot of money for perfume it is definitely worth it. The description given by Dolce and Gabbana is: Dolce & Gabbana launch their brand new fragrance, The One. The fragrance features top notes of mandarin and peach that leads into a heart of jasmine and ends with a base of vanilla, amber and musk. The One for Her is a warm, oriental floral with modern sensuality. It's a fragrance with a strong personality and a contrasting golden sweetness. Created for the ultimate diva, The One is at once tempting, modern and glamorous, embracing a touch of classicism. You can see why it smells so good. After spraying myself with this perfume I instantly feel glamorous, maybe not as glamorous as Scarlett Johansson on the adverts but still sophisticated none the less. I am a fan of vanilla in perfumes so this is why this perfume is a hit with me. You get the initial notes which ooze luxury and the musky vanilla will be with you all day. It is worth splashing out a bit extra for this one as it will last such a long time. You only need a small amount each time you use it as the smell is quite powerful and will last all day long. What I also like about this perfume is that you do not need to wait for the smell to settle as you have to with other perfumes, you just spray and you instantly smell luxurious. I personally prefer to wear this perfume at night as it is more of a glamorous scent rather than an everyday scent. But that is just my personal view as I wear more fruity perfumes during the day. In order to get the best price for this perfume I recommend looking online. The cheapest I have seen for 30ml is £34.63 on fragrancenet.com and for 50ml is £38.59 and that was on the cheapsmells.com website. You can also get 75ml bottles which sell for between £47.99 and £63.00. To have the ultimate "The One" experience you can also purchase the body lotion by Dolce and Gabbana. Prices for this start from around £19.00 for a 200ml tube. This is a definite must if you want to smell gorgeous and want your perfume stand to look a million dollars! ==Also on ciao==
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are two Italian fashion designers that created the clothing brand Dolce & Gabbana. The fashion house is based in Milan. Besides clothing, they also have shoes, bags, jewelry and even books on the market. The brand consists of two lines: D & G and Dolce & Gabbana. D & G is the cheaper version and Dolce & Gabbana and more expensive version. And like many other designers, they also came with their own fragrance and cosmetics line. -**************************************************- This fragrance was launched in 1994. The perfume is mainly made up from a base of sandalwood, bergamot, mandarin, lychee, peach, lily, lily of the valley, jasmine, plum, Vetiver and vanilla. According to the manufacturer Dolce & Gabbana The One Eau de Parfum is warm, oriental and sensual. I myself do agree with the description of the fragrance manufacturer. You can smell the sandalwood and bergamot. It gives something spicy, something mystical, a kind of nut flavor and the mix of flowers and fruit oils that have come through are very subtle. This gives a wonderful fragrance. If you spray it you will first notice the more floral scent, but just after that the spices smell prevailed. -***************************************************- The perfume comes in a stylish glass bottle. With at the front in black letters "The One Dolce & Gabana. It has a gold cap in T form. I find it a very chic bottle, which in itself is an ornament. The bottle is wrapped in a golden cardboard box with product information on the back. The perfume has a light golden color, and you only need a spray to make it last for a couple of hours to ensure you have a delicious smell around you. -***************************************************- I recommend everyone to go if you're in the neighborhood of a shop to give this scent a try. It's something personal and is different for everyone. For me, this scent definitely on my wish list. I think it's a scent that suits me. So for me it's a must but I think only my wallet disagrees since it comes at a price of 33 pounds.
'The One'. That is certainly a bold statement for a perfume brand to make, but in this case I can't argue with them, this is certainly my favourite perfume. The Packaging: The perfume comes in a gold box with Dolce & Gabbana clearly printed on the front, with the fragrance title 'The One'. The packaging is simply, but sophisticated in its gold colouring, which emphasises that it is the one. The bottle itself is also simple. The glass is clear, but the perfume itself is gold in colour, matching with the packaging at the lid on the top of the bottle. Having a clear bottle means that it is easier to see how much is left inside, which is important with this fragrance as you wouldn't want to run out. The lid is a gold coloured rectangle that lifts off to reveal a small spray pump which is easy to depress. The Fragrance: This is a light but powerful fragrance, which is enjoyable from the top notes right down to the base notes. The head notes, or top notes, consist of mandarin, peach, bergamot and lychee scents which give it a very light and fruity scent. I like this part of the fragrance as it isn't too sharp and heavy; some perfumes seem to have too strong head notes as if they are trying too hard to grab your attention. The heart notes are more floral with aromas of jasmine and lily. This follows on nicely from the fruitiness of the top notes and gives it a very feminine smell. The base notes have a real warmth as they are made up of vanilla, musk and plum. The overall effect of these scents is a warm and fruity fragrance that is light and pleasant to wear. The Staying Power: This scent certainly does last well, I can still catch wisps of its scent ages after I applied it, and only a small amount of the perfume is needed for a fabulous effect, too much may make the fruity scents overpowering. This perfume can also be bought with a perfumed body lotion. The bottle is white with a gold lid, which is at the bottom of the bottle, so you don't have to wait for ages for the lotion to run down once you start to get low. It contains 50ml (1.6 Fl oz) of lotion and perfectly matches the perfume's scent. There is also deodorant, shower gel and bath milk in the range. The Price: I didn't find that this perfume was particularly expensive, particularly considering the use I get out of it. On the perfume shop I found a bottle of 30ml (1.1 Fl oz) for £33.50, one of 50ml (1.7 Fl oz) for 47.50 and one of 75ml (2.5 Fl oz) for £62.00
Fragrance for him and her! Recently Dolce and Gabbana The One has become one of my favourite perfumes. I bought my husband the male version quite a while ago now and he recently bought me the female version as he and I both liked the smell of his so much. Obviously this one for women is different but we liked the quality of his and knew it would transfer over to this product too. It did make me laugh when I read the tag line for the perfume. Apparently it was created for the, "ultimate diva who appreciates everything that is luxurious and who demands attention everywhere she goes. She is strong, yet delicate and she knows what she wants." Well, I don't know if I would necessarily describe myself like that but all I know is that I really like the smell and hey, if it makes me feel and smell like a diva then cool!! It's always hard to describe a fragrance but this one is definitely fruit based. According to Boots where we purchased the fragrance (and got points on my Boots Advantage card), the fragrance can be described as a warm oriental floral with modern sensuality. The top notes radiate a vibrant luminosity, with a sun-touched citrus blend of bergamot and mandarin. Warm fruity notes of luscious lychee and succulent peach add to the delight of The One. The passionate heart contains an opulent floral bouquet comprised of madonna lily, muguet and jasmine, creating a distinct, audacious signature. An unexpected hint of plum mixes with the luscious allure of precious vetiver in the base, accenentuated with the lasting warmth of vanilla and sweetened ambery-musk notes. The One has a strong personality and a contrasting golden sweetness. It is not an amazingly light fragrance but is not too heavy or overpowering which is nice. Like I said my husband bought this for me from Boots and in my opinion its somewhat on the expensive side as fragrances go. A 50ml bottle cost £48. You can also buy a 75ml bottle which is £63 but I think that's just a bit too expensive to be paying for a fragrance.
As regular readers of my reviews will know I have a passion for perfumes. I love the way that a spray of perfume can make you feel. It can change your personality from ordinary to sexy in seconds. One perfume which is a sure to get your senses hightened, is Dolce and Gabbana The One. If I could use one word to describe this scent it would be alluring. It is very original in it's scent, unlike any other perfume that is on the market. I find that this perfume has the ability to stop me in my tracks. It has a spellbounding aroma that is quite oriental and punchy. The top notes of this scent is quite distinctive. It is fruity as it uses ingredients such as lychee and mandarin. However this is mixed with bergamot, which allows the scent to become quite exotic and spicy. After the initial, bold blast of the top notes die down there is a delicious undertone of floral notes which begin to float through, allowing the scent to become somewhat softer. The jasmine and fresh smelling lily middle notes. Certainly bring a different, lighter dimention to this perfume. Saying that the scent is still bold enough to make a statement. It is certainly not backwards in coming forwards. The base notes of this perfume do not come through initially. Infact I would say these notes don't come through for a good while after the initial spray. The base notes, although subtle certainly allows for the perfume to become more mysterious and somewhat sultry. The musk base note is quite distinctive and for me adds that certain something that completes the scent perfectly. There is also a slight hit of vanilla that comes through. However I personally believe that this is lost behind the stronger musk scent. I would recommend that this perfume be kept for special occasions. For those of you lucky enough to be going on a hot date. Wear this it will blow your date away!! it is sexy but sophisticated. sultry and bold. It makes a real statement. I do think you have to portray a self assured confidence to carry this scent off. It really offers a stunning aroma which will have you centre of attention. The bottle itself, is gorgeous but I don't think it goes well with the actual scent at all. The scent is so original and oriental inspired, I just don't think this packaging conveys this at all. I although I think the bottle. (particularly the bottle top) is stunning. I think that this scent deserves a bottle that offers something a lot more special. Make no mistakes this scent is so original and punchy that it will catch everyones attention. Therefore I feel that the bottle should offer something more contemporary and stylish. The scent itself lasts well. I find that due to it's ability to make a statement, only a small spray is needed. Too much may become cloying and spoil the desired effect altogether. I think there is a fine line between enjoying this perfume and finding it too overpowering so air on the side of caution when applying. I find that one or two sprays at the beginning of the evening will still be noticable at the end of the night. One thing I love about this scent is that it does not loose it's freshness. It does not become stale as some perfumes can. I would certainly recommend this to fiesty girls who are not afraid to make a statement. It is sexy without being tarty. It is seductive and will command attention where ever it is worn.
~~Introduction~~ Rummaging around my dressing table I came across a bottle of Dolce&Gabbana 'The One' looking very sorry for its self sat right at the back of all the goodies collecting dust. It struck me as somewhat odd that I would allow a bottle of seemingly expensive perfume to fester but giving it a blast I soon rediscovered why, this is a pungent perfume and one simply just cannot enjoy. ~~A bit about Dolce&Gabbana~~ Dolce & Gabbana have two central lines, D&G a more casual line with urban inspiration that attempts to set trends rather than follow them and Dolce&Gabbana (spelled without the spaces unlike the company itself) that specialize in more expensive goods that aim to be presented as timeless. "The one" perfume is within the Dolce&Gabbana range and although it is a fairly pricey perfume it is no more than that of other brands of similar status. ~~Pricing, packaging and purchasing~~ I really quite like the packaging of this product. The bottle is angular and see through revealing the yellow perfume inside. The bottle also has a gold squared shaped lid which looks very posh. Although simple in design it is also very attractive. Very sleak. Like most perfumes with a fancy brand name this perfume isn't cheap, you should expect to pay around £40 for a 75ml bottle, though depending on how much you are prepared to shop around could dramatically see a drop in price. "The one" is a very popular product and will be found behind most perfume counters and on specialist internet sites. ~~The scent~~ Top notes: Bergamot and Mandarin Middle notes: heart note of Jasmine and Lily Bottom notes: Vetyver and Vanilla ~~My overall opinion~~ I'm not sure what scent is dominating this perfume but it's far to much, with so many sweet scents in play it all becomes just a fraction over powering. Having identified the notes, it does'nt appear as though there are too many ingredients but there's almost certainly an inbalance, it's a like a battle of the notes for domination. The collective scent borders on sickly and is extremely heady in my opinion, it's for the most part flat out synthetic and contrived. I'd have to liken this fragrance to a Christmas tree shaped car air freshener which is a scent that I really cannot abide, within minutes of sitting in a car with one those things swinging from the rear view mirror, I feel nauseous and riddled with head ache it's like an allergic reaction and I can't help but think that this perfume smells remarkably similar and for that reason alone is incredibly off putting. A lot of people would certainly disagree with my rating on this product, my fiancée being one of them but for me this really does lay thick, not on the nose but the head. I really didn't want to dislike this perfume, its posh, the bottle looks nice and I know that it is fairly pricey but no matter how I try I just cannot take to it and of course that is why I found it pushed to the back of my potions collecting dust. ~~Conclusion~~ This won't be featuring on my Christmas wish list along with the Christmas tree air freshener!
I was looking for a new perfume last year and came across this is a list in the Daily Mail of the top perfumes. So I took this list with me to Debenhams and checked out the ones they recommended. Some of them I hated but this one I liked but I made sure to try this on three separate occasions to make sure that this would be something I would always like rather than one of those perfume purchases that I quickly grow bored of or change my mind on. You have probably seen the advert for this. It's the one with Gisele Buchanan rushing around backstage at a fashion show saying 'Am I late?' There is also a male version that was introduced a while ago. They introduced a eau de toilette recently which can be recognised by the silver bottle but this the eau de parfum original is in a big gold glass bottle. The base is a glass cuboid shape with a glass valley shape suspended inside which holds the pale golden liquid inside. The lid is a big chunky one in gold in a t-bar shape. It is rather heavy, not the best for carrying in your handbag and it does feel very solid but I can just imagine it shattering were you to accidentally drop it on a non-carpeted floor. I like the bottle to an extent but feel that it looks rather masculine in fact as it doesn't have the traditional soft curves that you normally get with female fragrance bottles. The top notes are peach, bergamot, mandarin and lychee. The heart notes are madonna lily, muguet and jasmine and the base notes are plum, vetiver, amber and musk. Most people dsecribe this as a floral and yes to an extent it does smell floral but not in the traditional heavy way one would expect. I also feel that it has a rather fresh and clean smell and that's why I think it's good for day wear as wel as evening. I think it's quite a grown-up perfume as it were because it doesn't overwhelm you from what I've found and is quite subtle. I've also had quite a few compliments about this. Some people complain about the staying power of this perfume but I am not sure why as I find it lasts just as long as my other perfumes. I do like this a lot and would say it is something that most people would like because it's not too over the top. I got this as a gift with matching lotion but if you want to buy the 30ml EDP it will cost you £29.99 at the Perfume shop. The 50ml is £39.13 and the 75ml is £58.99.
== Dolce & Gabbana The One Woman Fragrance == I am currently using this perfume and I got it as a gift but I think it costs around 50$ for 1 oz, 30 ml now. I am pretty picky when it comes to perfume, because I do not like strong sweet smells, so I was not completely amazed when I got this gift. But on my surprise this one was of my liking. It has a gentle soft oriental smell, that is not too pushy and is yet pretty recognizable. It is a great mixture of glamor, class and modern life. It is soft enough to use at daytime and yet strong enough for evening events. And it stays on for hours. You can also buy a deodorant of the same brand to make "smell corrections" since the deodorant smells perfectly too. I have also noticed that this perfume smells exactly the same when applied to skin as it does in the bottle. I have had some experience with perfume that had a nice smell in the bottle but later on, when applied the smell became a bit, well funky. And since man and woman have different view on what smells nice and what stinks I also asked my dear what he thinks about the scent and he has almost the same view on it as I have, gentle, seductive nice. It comes in a classy gold package and the bottle looks simple and yet elegant, well it captures the essence of the perfume anyway. It does not evaporate from the bottle as many cheap perfume tend to, well this one is not considered cheap anyway. I do not think that 50$ is really a lot for a perfume, well if you are an average user (it last ages with me), and with this smell you really get a great bargain. *Scent made from: Bergamot, Mandarin, Lychee, Peach, Madonna Lily, Muguet, Plum, Jasmine, Vetiver, Vanilla, Amber, Musk This review also appears on Ciao under the same nickname
Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP For Her / The hot Dolce and Gabbana fragrance is set to bring out the superstar in you / The woman wearing 'The One' is demanding, determined and competitive and like a true diva, loves to shine like a star / The top notes radiate a vibrant luminosity, with a sun-touched citrus blend of bergamot and mandarin / Warm fruity notes of luscious lychee and succulent peach add to the delight.
