I am a fan of perfumes and fortunately I have a very generous husband who often treats me to the latest set in the perfume shop! Sometimes I pick up perfumes half used from eBay to allow me to try them out first and I have been known to pick up a few small samples and items from Amazon too. Last year I purchased my first ever dressing table to accommodate these perfumes and they actually sit on top of my bookcase too, mainly to avoid me knocking them over.

If I remember correctly this perfume came from my sister and it currently retails at around £22.00 on Amazon for the 30ml bottle that I have. I received mine back in 2010 and only have a very small amount left now.

This perfume comes in a very funky bottle and it is one that I really like. The bottle looks like an apple and is flatter at the bottom so it does not roll off my dressing table. The lid is silver and the bottom part is green to reflect the 'big apple' as in New York (DNKY = Donna Karan New York).

Top notes: Violet leaf, apple, grapefruit, magnolia
Middle notes: Lily of the valley, rose, violet
Base notes: Sandalwood, amber, musk

When I received this a couple of years ago from my sister I was very pleased with it. I loved the look of the bottle and I was excited about having a new perfume to add to my collection. I have been loathsome to use up the last bit as I want to keep it for as long as possible but I shall be hoping for a new bottle for my birthday this year.

The packaging feels luxurious on this perfume and I feel great sliding it open to use the perfume and go out for the day. This makes applying perfume feel like the luxurious treat that it should be considering how much most perfumes cost.

I really love the smell of this perfume and feels like it is very different to ones that I have tried in the past. This perfume comes out in a light spray and it covers a good surface with every press. I can smell the delicious fresh fragrance of this perfume and the first scents that I notice are cucumber (which I usually can't stand but love in this!) and apple. This smells fresh and clean and makes me feel delightful when wearing it.

This scent lasts for a couple of hours and the notes change throughout this time. This starts off very light, refreshing and clean and ends up with a light muskiness that is only just detectable and finishes off the scent of this perfume wonderfully.

Overall I am very pleased with the quality of this perfume. It is fresh with a light hint of musk and I absolutely love it, particularly during the Spring months.
