A few years ago I started a bit of a perfume fetish and found that I couldn't resist buying perfume after perfume. Eventually I had to stop and actually start using some of them. I thought I was finished in reviewing all of my perfumes... however I opened a drawer in my spare bedroom and was pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of DKNY Women in there. It's a perfume that I really like and I'm not entirely sure why it was in a drawer hidden away... maybe so my friends can't use it when they are staying over. Hmmm...wondering what the title's all about? Well, you see, when I first tested this perfume out in Boots, the woman at the perfume counter told me it was inspired by the taste (huh?!) and smell of a vodka and orange. Personally, I can't quite see where she's coming from but anyway...! The perfume is called DKNY quite simply. The DKNY acronym stands for Donna Karan New York. *Introduction* I was given a bottle of DKNY Women as a present from my best friend for my 21st birthday. This was one of many gifts that were perfected wrapped and hidden in a box (how lucky am I to have her as a best mate). She knows me very well and she has a very similar taste in perfume as I do. I seem to love all of the DKNY perfumes and this one is no different. It seemed the perfect girly perfume from the box to the bottle to the perfume, so let me tell you about it. The box it came in (mine was the gift set so it might be slightly different) was in a rectangular box which was a shiny pink colour, with DKNY written in silver across the top, with pink being my favourite colour I was already won over!
