Recommended retail price is shown as £23 but I bought mine for £10 off the Tesco website.
This was Britney Spears' second fragrance in association with Elizabeth Arden and was launched in 2005.
I therefore was going to buy some more but found that they were double the price of this old and original Fantasy perfume so thought I would try this instead.
Going by the bottle design and the Britney Spears endorsement this perfume is aimed at the younger market. However I do not think perfume should be picked according to such criteria and I believe that if you like it then buy it.
The bottle is colourful and, although slightly flambuoyant and a bit over the top, quite fun rather than being classy – though it is not that bad that I would bother hiding it. It is a little smaller than I expected but that is because it is a 30ml bottle rather than 50 ml.
The perfume is similar to the Remix versions – it is sweet and slightly heavy and musky. Officially the composition is shown as 'red lychee, golden quince, kiwi, cupcake accord, jasmine petals, white chocolate, orchid, musk, orris root and sensual woods'.
This is a sweet and cheerful aroma – a mix of slightly floral and fruity aromas with the musky and heavy undertones and with a tinge of the chocolate and cupcake as well.
When first sprayed on it is quite strong – even with only one spray. However I love the sweet and chocolaty combination and even when it dies down a little it does still smell reasonably strong and lasts a good few hours. Good value for the price.
Personally I love cupcake and chocolate smells – either in perfume or candles.
Being the original Fantasy and now being 'old' as it came out in 2005 I was lucky to get this at a reduced price. Perfumes at Tesco were part of the double-up on vouchers so I actually had this for just a £5 voucher.
The Remix versions are also lovely but being newly launched this year were almost double the price so I am pleased with this lovely bottle for a bargain price.
As well as for yourself this would be a great gift for some teenager.
It does vary a little from the Remixed versions but you can still detect the same basic aroma. As I love Angel perfume by Mugler which is sweet and chocolaty too I also love this one as it is a toned down version that is acceptable to my husband so I can actuially get to wear it.
The Britney Spears Fantasy Eau de Parfum is available from GBP 19.99. The Eau de Parfum comes as 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml sprays.
The Eau de Parfum was launched in 2006 and created by James Krivda. The Eau de Parfum is the second fragrance by Britney Spears.
The Eau de Parfum comes in a pink bottle with a round cap. The pink bottle is studded with Swarovski crystals and encased with interlocking rings at the neck.
The Eau de Parfum is described as follows. "Fantasy is a magical love potion of sweet temptation leaving a tantalising tail of embracing sensuality. Fantasy is alive with enchantment and rich with the thrill of the chase. This is the second fragrance from the pop princess and has been created for women who are seductive, charming and elusive, its about loves ability to overwhelm you when you least expect it."
The Eau de Parfum has a floral and fruity scent. A fruity scent that reminds of kiwi and lychee can be noticed. A sweet chocolate and orchid scent can be noticed after that. Followed by an intensive musk and vanilla scent. The main accords are sweet and fruity. The Eau de Parfum is intensive and long-lasting.
The top note consists of red lychee, golden quince and kiwi. Followed by the heart notes of jasmine petals, white chocolate and orchid. The base notes are musk, orris root and sensual woods.
The Eau de Parfum is long-lasting and holds up to 8 hours.
I can recommend the Britney Spears Fantasy Eau de Parfum, as the scent is intensive and long-lasting. The main accords are sweet and fruity.
I was attracted to this product after the heavy advertising campaign; Britney fragrances seem be everywhere, music videos, in store promotions, you tube advertisements.
I am always a little wary of celebrity endoresements and tend to steer clear but I am so glad I came across this fragrance.
This is a perfect fragrance for everyday use or can even be 'dressed up' for use on special occasions. This has fast become my default perfume.
It is fun and flirty; fruity and sweet with a gentle spice. Although it is long lasting, it is not overpowering like some sweet fragrances can be.
I alwasy receive compliments when I wear this fragrance.
This is a great price for what you are getting, and the bottle it comes in is gorgeous. This would make an ideal gift for someone.
This is not only the best celebrity fragrance on the market but one of the best fragrances full stop.
Where to start... boy do I love this perfume!! I've now gone through 3 of these which believe me is pretty hard to do since you don't need a whole lot on!! This perfume really stands up against other celeb perfumes in the industry as it really does last for a crazy long time! Believe it or not, even longer than Chanel...
The smells is pure candy, sugar and all things nice, and it may suit people who are younger. Which wouldn't stop me, I mean i'm a guy and I love wearing this perfume!!! This perfume is also the type of one that you will be able to smell on you too. So many people forget they reek of their perfume and spray more on - which this perfume that won't be an issue!!
It really can mask anything, and often when I wash things the scent still stays on! The bottle is heavy which is annoying if you travel around with it! I would suggest buying one of those travelo things in hot pink - as it really suits the overall look!
I tend to buy this in airports as it's slightly cheaper, but look around during the xmas period as it always comes in great gift sets!! The last one I bought was only £15 for TKMAXX for 100ml and it came with some kinda cream that omg, smells AMAZING!!
This really is a perfect gift and I know it's so popular - alot of my friends love it too!!
I can't remember what the other 'fantasy' ones smell like but I know that this is and will always be my favourite one!!
I can even picture the scent now, it's so amazing!!
Firstly this is the perfume I wear EVERYDAY and have done for around 6 years now! I still can't get over the delicious smell, so sweet and distinctive. No matter how many times I have worn this perfume it still feels gorgeous every time.
I have tried all different types of perfume in addition to this for nights out but they just don't smell anywhere near as good. The smell is very sweet, like walking into a sweet shop and lasts all day. I can wear this in the morning, work all day and you can smell it when you get home.
People notice this perfume on me all the time, the same as I do if I am walking past someone else who is wearing it. Most perfumes these days are not very distinctive but I can say with all honesty that none have come close to 'Fantasy'. Fantasy is exactly what is it is..Perfect!
I end up with so many of these at Christmas and would be so disappointed if I got anything else to be honest. The price is so reasonable, you can usually get a 100ml Bottle of perfume and a body lotion for just £25 - absolute bargain in my eyes! They do this set in Tesco but all major supermarkets and perfume shops, Boots, Superdrug etc. all sell this and it is easily accessible to buy online too.
It comes in a packaged box, size dependant on the bottle size you buy. The box is as lovely as the perfume, it is a green and pink design with a green bow wrapped around, to sides open up and the perfume is in the middle on a pink felt like stand. All I can say is the packaging is as brilliant as the perfume, which cannot be said for most perfumes out there!
The bottle itself is a lovely design too and makes a great addition to any chest of drawers/dressing table, it is pink, round and has green diamanté's spread evenly across the bottle. It has a fancy bottle top too which is still the same design (you guessed it, pink and green!) but the green diamanté's go around the bottle top and the top itself is a plastic pink round style.
I would recommend this to every single woman! Sweet, delicious scent that lasts all day, stunning bottle/packaging and a reasonable price too, what more could a women ask for?
I confess as a grown woman this is a perfume I should probably not say I own but I do and if there is a perfume that breaks my preconceptions of celebrity scents this is it.
When it comes to perfume I am normally more of a DKNY Pure, J'adore EDT fan but this is actually a little gem of a fragrance. I first tried it when I borrowed some of my friends and have become hooked on its sweet girly fragrance ever since.
The bottle is actually very pretty as it is pink little gem details on it but you can also see through it so can see when it is starting to run low.
Well the marketing blurb describes it as "a magic love potion of sweet temptation that leaves a tantalising trail of embracing sensuality" and if you like sweet floral, almost candy floss perfumes this is the scent for you (interestingly all my male friends seem to be able to instantly recognise this perfume and profess to loving it). It reminds me a lot of Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel (which I bulk buy at Christmas) and although it isn't a perfume I wear every day, it does smell very sweet, it is a great pick me up scent which is perfect for summer evenings or when you want a summery boost - whenever I wear it I feel instantly happy which is always a bonus. It is a very floral, girly scent so if you usually prefer muskier or woodier perfumes this may not be for you but it is very fresh and feminine so if you like light floral fragrances it is a good option.
It also lasts well but is not too overpowering like some perfumes.
This is one of the best things about this perfume - at around £25 for 50ml in Boots it is very good value for money but you don't compromise on quality in anyway.
Fantasy launched with the phrase "because everybody has one" by Britney Spears in 2005. Following her first perfume Curious, which had been very successful.
Its from Elizabeth Arden and Its notes are;
Red lychee, Golden Quince, Kiwi, Cupcake accord, jasmine petals, white chocolate, orchid, musk, orris root, and sensual woods, being described as sweet smelling and floral with a hint of cupcake and white chocolate. I can honestly say I hadn't notice this but I do really like the smell and have frequently been asked what I'm wearing as people have liked the fragrance and it seems to last all day.
The box it comes in is very bright and cheerful and opens up like a flower, with a big green bow on the top and almost too nice to throw away. The bottle is an equally glamorous pink creation with sparkly stones attached, which are said to be real swarovoski chrystals.
It comes in a range of sizes, 30ml -100ml will set you back £15.50 - £24.45 (amazon) but they are often on offer in beauty and pharmacy shops.
Confession time.... I absolutely adore this perfume and it is my all time favourite, but I do find the celebrity trade mark and the pink bottle embarrassing to buy, this said, I am currently on my 3rd bottle.
I score this perfume 4 out of 5, it would be a 5 but I find the bottle just a bit too over the top.
I am an absolute perfume addict but to be honest, I have always stayed away from Celebrity perfumes such as the ones by Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton. I first came across Britney Spears seconds perfume, Fantasy when I was in the duty free at London Gatwick airport and I thought I'd give it a spray to see what it was like. To my surprise, I actually really liked it, so promptly put it on my Christmas list! My older brother bought it for me this Christmas and it has taken pride of place on my perfume shelf ever since.
Fantasy comes in a square box which has a metallic pink triangle on it. In the middle of the triangle are the words Fantasy and Britney Spears which are written in metallic gold writing. The rest of the box is really colourful with colours such as bright pink, blue and green all swirled together. The box has a lime green ribbon tied over it, and to undo the box, you have to untie the ribbon. Once the ribbon is untied the four sections of the box fall open. I have to say the box for this perfume has a really nice presentation to it, very elegant and girlie.
The bottle itself is also very striking and made from glass. The bottle is round and bright pink, although you can still see through it which is useful as you can always tell how much you have left. The bottle also has little diamontes all over it which really makes this bottle of perfume stand out from the others I have on my perfume shelf.
You can buy Fantasy By Britney Spears from various places such as Boots, Superdrug and many online stores. Currently, at Boots, this perfume retails at £22 for 30ml, £27 for 50ml and £39 for 100ml.
According to the website, this perfume has all sorts of ingredients including kiwi, red lychee. Jasmine petals, musk, white chocolate orchid, orris roots and sensual woods. Personally, I adore this perfume, I think that it is incredibly girlie and certainly smells different from other perfumes on the market. On several occasions when I have been wearing this perfume, people have asked what it is. This perfume also has excellent lasting power, I put a few sprays on it the morning before work and can still easily smell it by the end of the day although the fragrance does get lighter with time. You don't really need tp use very much of this perfume either as a little goes a long way and lasts a long time too, you can't really ask for much more from a perfume!
Who Would This Perfume Suit?
This perfume would suit anyone who likes a feminine perfume. If you are more into the woody scents that I would definitely advise you t steer clear of this one. This perfume is almost sickly sweet (but not in a bad way) and would be most suited to girlie girls.
This is Britney Spears second perfume, her first one was called Curious, then she released Fantasy and her most recent one is Midnight Fantasy. Every perfume can be bought in a range of sizes such as 30ml, 50ml and 100ml and they can also be bought in gift packs too.
I would certainly recommend this product. It has totally changed my view of 'Celebrity' perfumes as before smelling this, I thought they most of them wouldn't even be worth trying! As I already said, this isn't a perfume for anyone who prefers their perfumes spicy or woody but if you like sweet, feminine fragrances, then give this product a try.
This is a review of Britney Spears Fantasy Eau de Parfum Spray for Women which I received as a Christmas present. It would not have been one that I would have chosen for myself but I thought I'd give it a try before deciding whether to pass it on to a friend.
I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance, it wasn't bad at all. I was expecting something quite loud and brash but it was more floral and feminine and quite a strong fragrance. For the past year I had been wearing a subtle citrus fragrance as pregnancy made my stomach turn whenever I smelt a strong perfume but I'm over that now.
Fragrance bottles are really important to me. I like them to look nice on display in the bedroom or bathroo and this bottle is certainly one fit for a pink princess! I think the shape is great to hold, it's finished off with sparkly diamontes and is a real dressing table diva's pink bottle. I just wish I had a dressing table for it to go on!!
What's in it?
* Top notes: Red lychee, golden quince, kiwi
* Heart notes: Cupcake accord, jasmine petals, white chocolate orchid
* Base notes: Musk, orris root, woods
100ml of edp retails on Amazon for £23.35.
I found this fragrance really pleasant and would never have guessed it was one of Britney's perfumes! I am so glad I received this as a gift as I would have never even tested it in store. Price wise I think this is an OK price for 100ml but I personally would not want to pay any more than this for a celebrity endoresed fragrance. Fruity and sweet is a good way of describing the smell and it is really long lasting too. I can pick up the vanilla notes, which probably explain the cupcake in the heart notes.
Obviously fragrance is a very personal choice and what one likes, another may detest. I would say this is more of a younger fragrance but that doesn't mean someone older may not like it. I think it's a pretty safe bet as a gift as I have had many compliments when wearing this product. I am not looking to buy any more at the moment but would certainly consider it in the future if I have the spare cash.
I'm such a fan of all Britneys perfumes and theres no reason not to be! This perfume is amazing! It stays on for a long time, I could go out at 9am in the morning and still smell as sweet on the night, it sticks on your clothing! This is one of my favourite perfumes and always will be, the fragrance is so strong I could bathe in it! I would reccommend this perfume highly, its for you if you love sweet smells! And for only £14.00 its such a good price for what you get.
I was bought this fragrance many years ago when I was in school and instantly loved the extremely sweet smell. From then on I started to buy this as my favourite fragrance and people in my school actually said they knew if I was near because of this perfume I wore. It actually saved me from getting in a spot of trouble once too (long story). Also people commented that when they smelt it they were reminded of me.
Then as I got older I ran out of perfume and money so I stopped buying it altogether.
Today, I received a sample of it in one of my beauty boxes. I was reminded of the sweet, sweet smell and it brought back memories.
Smelling it now, it is very sickly sweet, not in a bad way but I can imagine a lot of people would find this way too sweet to wear.
It smells like you've walked into a candy store or something. You really don't need to apply much as its strong and last most of the day.
I remember the bottle was lovely, bright pink with little studs and a round body and lid. It looks gorgeous on a dressing table.
People do refer to this as a 'young persons' perfume, which I agree to a certain extent - a lot of older buyers would still enjoy this but also it being by Britney Spears, it attracts a younger audience. (Although Britney's pretty old school now!)
Overall - sweet, strong, thick scent, beautiful bottle and a fun fragrance.
I'm not really one for celebrity perfumes as the half decent ones have almost the price tag of a designer fragrance, with the £10 bargain bin ones usually smelling of cat wee. One I do like however is Fantasy by Britney Spears; at £25 for a 50ml Eau de Parfum I think it's reasonably priced, the fragrance being amazingly well blended and smelling gorgeously girly.
I was expecting Fantasy to be feminine as soon as I saw it though, not because I consider Britney to be a girly girl (she's definitely not!) but due to the fact that the bottle is so... pink. Completely and utterly pink; a pretty (and slightly unusual) round bottle which screams Arabian market to me, small crystals are dotted around the bottle which gives it a real prettiness - although be warned, these crystals do come off if you're not careful as six of mine have. There are sunken dots underneath the crystals so there's still some pattern on the bottle, but I felt it lost some of its personality when the crystals dropped off. The complaint I have about the bottle is that the lid is very loose and very round - this means it will fall off, and it will roll away never to be seen again. It doesn't matter as the spray portion of the bottle is also pink in colour so it looks incredibly pretty with or without the lid, it's just annoying.
Just the right amount of perfume sprays out so I usually use five bursts; one for each side of my neck, a spray on each wrist and a cheeky cleavage spray. It's not a massively strong perfume but builds up nicely if you're liberal with application, I've worn it to go to the pub once and felt it lasted well but needed such regular reapplication that eventually I just let my fragrance die off as I couldn't be bothered fighting my way to the loo every forty-five minutes. During the day it's better, when it's not having to compete the fragrances of a multitude of different women and in a more open environment. Reapplication is crisp so you don't need to be too strict about timing; whatever residue remains of the previous spray simply adds depth due to the top and base notes being very similar, in smell if not in name.
Throughout the Fantasy fragrance is a delicious vanilla tone, which I fell in love with immediately. It reminds me of one of Yankee Candle's cake inspired tarts and is almost exactly how I'd image it to transfer to a cosmetic product - I think, although I'm open to being corrected, you'd need to like the smell of vanilla to really appreciate Fantasy and I'm certain it would be too sweet for a lot of women. My daughter hates the smell of it, she likes spicier more masculine fragrances and used the words 'too *eugh* girly' when I asked her what she thought of it - my über-feminine-in-a-sexy-kinda-way cousin has used Fantasy as her signature fragrance since it came out, it's that type of perfume.
When first sprayed Fantasy has a light fruity fragrance, it smells of melon to me despite this not being listed as a specific note - maybe this comes from the lychee and kiwi blend, although to be honest I can't pick either of these out and to me it's simply a nice generalised 'watery fruit' mixed with vanilla fragrance. It's strange because the sweetness of the perfume shouldn't really suit it, the fruity notes being so wishy-washy, but they compliment one another beautifully and create a completely delicious opening to an overall gorgeous perfume.
The fruitiness wears off quite quickly but the vanilla is constant, there's a brief burst of easily recognisable fresh jasmine but this soon changes to a more complete 'cake' smell which is absolutely stunning (to me, a 'sweet' perfume lover). I've always thought, and said to a couple of people, that this perfume has a period where I can smell a really dusty orchid - I should have checked the notes before as they've confirmed that *I* am right and my know-it-all sixteen year old is wrong, with with White Chocolate Orchid being listed as a middle note. I really like this middle section of Fantasy as it wafts around and is always changing, it's significantly floral but the ever-present vanilla tones it down nicely and prevents it ever becoming cloying or old fashioned.
I can't actually detect any of the base notes, finding that on my skin it returns to a mildly fruity fragrance which is slightly more robust than when I initially apply the perfume. The sweet smell lingers but develops a muskier scent which is surprisingly grown up considering how sugary the rest of the perfume is! I wouldn't say this is ever a sophisticated perfume, but it's fun and flirty with a real down to earth persona - just how I'd sum up Britney actually!
The lifespan of Fantasy is around four hours, which isn't great as the sweetness of the fragrance gives it quite a delicate edge and that makes the perfume fade noticeably over this time which is disappointing for me as the wearer but I'm reassured that other people can still smell my fragrance right to the end. I love the overall experience of wearing Fantasy however so will happily take the time to reapply (mostly!), I've already decided to buy it again and I still have half a bottle left - I've worn and liked Britney fragrances in the past but this is one is so pretty and well put together that's it made me look at her range with more respect.
~Britney Spears Fantasy~
Britney Spears teamed up with Elizabeth Arden to offer a collection of endorsed fragrances. The 'Fantasy' collection includes four scents..
Today, I will be discussing the original Fantasy which is available in a eau de parfum and a body souffle. The official description for this EDP is 'a magic love potion of sweet temptation that leaves a tantalizing trail of embracing sensuality'.
~The Fragrance Notes~
As with other fragrances, Fantasy EDP has been created using three sets of fragrance notes. These fragrance notes develop on the skin over time :
*Top notes (the initial burst of fragrance on the skin) - golden quince, exotic kiwi and red lychee
*Heart notes (the main body of the fragrance) - jasmine petals, cupcake accord, white chocolate accord
*Base notes (the drydown fragrance) - orris root, creamy musk and sensual woods
As you can see from the above fragrance notes, Fantasy EDP would fall into the sweet/fruity fragrance family.
Each bottle in the Fantasy collection is similar in design. The original EDP is presented in a round glass bottle which is a deep pink colour. The bottle has little stuck on jewels, a gem encrusted ring around the neck of the bottle and a round pink lid. Some may say the bottle looks quite cheap but I like it.
The bottle is presented in quite a large box which folds open and is very colourful.
~Price and Availability~
Fantasy EDP is a relatively cheap fragrance to buy and is available on the highstreet and online at the following prices :
*Amazon UK : £13.63-£23.95 (30ml-100ml) gift sets available £17.09-£28.00
*Boots - £12.00-£25.53 (15ml-100ml) gift set is priced at £20.00
*Cheap Smells - £13.60-£23.95 (30ml-100ml) gift sets available £17.75-£29.95
I like quite a lot of celebrity endorsed fragrances and absolutely LOVE each of the Fantasy fragrances. I wasn't keen on Curious but will happily buy and use any of the Fantasy fragrances. Over the last few years, I have owned several bottles of Fantasy EDP. My current bottle is a 50ml size and I received it as a gift earlier this year - my best friend knows me well as this is one of my favourites.
The bottle has a spray top which when pressed down, releases a fine mist of liquid. Unlike with other 'cheap' fragrances, Fantasy doesn't give off the unpleasant, alcohol aroma after the scent hits the skin. I was impressed with the scent of Fantasy EDP from the first time I tried it. It won't appeal to all but if you adore sweet fragrances, you may well like this one. I favour sweet notes over any other so this is right up my street.
~Cupcake Scented Perfume?~
The initial aroma is absolutely gorgeous and has quite a powerful strength. The top notes are beautifully fruity and juicy. The fruity notes used are quite unusual and give the scent a unique, exotic sweetness without appearing unnatural or overpowering. At times, the top notes remind me of fruity sweeties which is very favourable. It certainly has a lovely youthful yet distinctly feminine feel to it. The top note blend is refreshingly sweet which I like and this makes it perfect for wearing during the warmer months.
The depth of the top notes lingers for a good hour or two before the decadent heart of Fantasy reveals itself. The heart is definitely my favourite part of the entire scent and smells absolutely stunning in my opinion. The main focus is on a flavoursome sweet aroma which is described as being a 'cupcake accord'. To me, it gives off a rich, sweet aroma which reminds me of sweet frosting on top of a cupcake. There is a delicate, authentic vanilla aroma through the scent which I feel is courtesy -of the white chocolate accord. The sweetness appeals to me. The jasmine petals adds an addition twist to the heart and takes the edge of the sweetness. It adds a sensual, slightly grown up tinge to the scent.
The frosting aroma and jasmine starts to fade after 4-5hours and the vanilla aroma increases slightly to form a creamy sweetness. The scent changes a little more and reveals a pleasant drydown scent. The woody notes are evident and a slight hint of musk. These notes combined with the sweet vanilla make for a gorgeous finishing scent. It remains noticeable on my skin for a few hours before weakening. The aroma is still noticeable on my clothing the next day and smells every bit as lovely. It radiates from my skin at a gorgeous strength to be detected by myself and those around me.
I will happily wear Fantasy EDP all year round but find it is perfectly suited for wearing during the warmer months. It is definitely a day time fragrance and is a lighter alternative to Midnight Fantasy (which is more suited to evening wear). Fantasy EDP is quite a girly scent. I have been using this since my late teens and I am now in my mid 20s. I still appreciate the youthful sweetness that this fragrance offers but can't imagine a more mature lady would like to wear this or receive it as a gift.
Several years on I still love Fantasy EDP. It lasts most of day on my skin and is of a decent quality. I don't feel the need to top up the scent through the day so my bottle is lasting really well. It is very unique smelling and I can pinpoint this fragrance if anyone walks past me wearing it. It certainly isn't cheap or generic smelling like some other celebrity fragrances. It is a feel good fragrance and I always feel happy when wearing it due to the perfectly arranged sweet notes.
This would make a nice, inexpensive gift for a young lady in my opinion.
Thanks for reading :)
I remember buying this perfume years ago when I was still st school or college, I believe I liked it at the time, but now its just a bit too sickly and sweet for me.
The perfume usually costs between £15 and £20 to buy these days I think, and you can still get it from most perfume shops, as well as places like Boots or Superdrug. It is a very sweet and strong smelling perfume, and this is the reason I do not like it anymore. It smells quite musky and fruity aswell, but the sweetness of this just overpowers everything else, which I dont like. I like my perfumes to be subtle so you can only smell them when you get close enough to me - with this one however I find that no matter how little you spray on, people will smell you coming from a long way off. Its a scent that I would imagine would appeal to younger people, as it did me when I was about 16/17, however it is quite a 'childish' scent so doesnt quite match my tastes now.
My favourite thing about this perfume is the bottle that it comes in, i LOVE nicely designed perfume bottles and this one looks lovely. Its round and pink, and embellished with little gems all over the bottle as well as on the neck of the bottle. The cap is also a little pink orb that pulls off with ease. The only reason I still own this perfume is because the bottle looks pretty in my bathroom, but it is still oveer half full as I havent used it in about 8 years!
Overall this is a perfect perfume for teenagers or for the younger generation, but I dont think anyone above their teens would enjoy this perfume and the scent it leaves, its incredibly strong and overpowering and very very VERY sickly and sweet. I usually love sweet smelling things being a big fan of vanilla and all things from Lush, but this one is just too much even for me!
Some might say that this fragrance should only be worn by the young but I don't think 40 is too old! I have worn this for some time after my daughter was given a bottle for a present! Every time she wore it, it was instantly recognisable with its fruity aroma. I wear it in the daytime rather than the evening as it is fresh and sweet and lasts the day.
I've had many comments when wearing it, at work my colleagues enter the room and say 'mmm, we can smell you before we see you, what is that perfume', not sure if that's good or not but I think the 'mmm' means it is! It is slightly embarrassing perhaps for a 40 year old to admit she is wearing a pop princess perfume but if you have a don't care attitude go for it! I know this scent lasts because I have even had positive comments down the gym after a full day at work.
It comes in a pink bottle studded with Swarovski crystals and comes in a very pretty looking box that is a lot larger than the product, however I think it makes a lovely present and various shops such as Superdrug and the Perfume shop often have special offers on this scent. You can normally get it for around £19.99 and I haven't met anyone who doesn't actually like it.
Launched by the design house of Britney Spears in 2005 /
