This is a review of Britney Spears Fantasy Eau de Parfum Spray for Women which I received as a Christmas present. It would not have been one that I would have chosen for myself but I thought I'd give it a try before deciding whether to pass it on to a friend.

First impressions
I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance, it wasn't bad at all. I was expecting something quite loud and brash but it was more floral and feminine and quite a strong fragrance. For the past year I had been wearing a subtle citrus fragrance as pregnancy made my stomach turn whenever I smelt a strong perfume but I'm over that now.

Packaging
Fragrance bottles are really important to me. I like them to look nice on display in the bedroom or bathroo and this bottle is certainly one fit for a pink princess! I think the shape is great to hold, it's finished off with sparkly diamontes and is a real dressing table diva's pink bottle. I just wish I had a dressing table for it to go on!!

What's in it?
* Top notes: Red lychee, golden quince, kiwi
* Heart notes: Cupcake accord, jasmine petals, white chocolate orchid
* Base notes: Musk, orris root, woods

My thoughts
I found this fragrance really pleasant and would never have guessed it was one of Britney's perfumes! I am so glad I received this as a gift as I would have never even tested it in store. Price wise I think this is an OK price for 100ml but I personally would not want to pay any more than this for a celebrity endoresed fragrance. Fruity and sweet is a good way of describing the smell and it is really long lasting too. I can pick up the vanilla notes, which probably explain the cupcake in the heart notes.

Final word
Obviously fragrance is a very personal choice and what one likes, another may detest. I would say this is more of a younger fragrance but that doesn't mean someone older may not like it. I think it's a pretty safe bet as a gift as I have had many compliments when wearing this product. I am not looking to buy any more at the moment but would certainly consider it in the future if I have the spare cash.
