“ Brand: Ed Hardy / Type: Fragrance / Concentration: Eau de Toilette / Gender: for women „
I got this perfume as a gift for my birthday as well as another 3 different perfumes but this one seems to be my favourite one at the moment! As it was a gift I am unsure how much was exactly paid for it but prices range from £36 for a 50ml bottle to £50 for the 100ml bottle which yes it might seem a bit expensive but I think it is definitely worth it! The bottle is very eye catching and colourful with the trade mark ed hardy tattoo design all over the lid. The bottle itself is transparent pink and rectangular in shape with the ed hardy signature on the front. If you tend to go for the more fruity scents like myself then I would definitely recommend this. With top notes of blood orange and gala apple mixed with the mango and jasmine middle notes and musk and benzoin bottom notes it creates an alluring scent which is long lasting, feminine and fruity. I would say it is more suited to the younger woman for day time/casual wear due to the light and refreshing summer scent. I have already recommended it to several of my friends and would recommend it to others who are after a long lasting fruity aroma.
I have always been a fan of the Ed Hardy collection however having very limited funds have never actually bought this perfume. After smelling it in boots numerous times i decided that i would get it for Christmas as a present off someone. Baring in mind that this was 4 years ago i have not gone a single day without using this perfume (yes i have purchased quite a lot of bottles now). The perfume has even managed to get me a date with what can only be describes as one of the most beautiful humans i have ever come across. The perfume attracts quite a lot of attention as it is quite strong however this is in a good way as i like people to smell the sweetness on me (its a lot better than smelling peoples sweat). Once again this perfume is top of my Christmas list.. i have not gone back since the day which i was caught onto this and will never turn back as i have smelt a lot of other perfumes but definitely none match up to this. Me wearing it has also resulted in a lot of my friends going and purchasing the perfume i also bought the males one for my boyfriend, we are great fans within my household.
I got this perfume as a present for my birthday. I am not usually a fan of Ed Hardy, but I thought I would nonetheless give it a try. The bottle of the perfume is something which really catches your eye. It is funky, pink with loads of tattoo prints over it (real Ed Hardy Style). The lid is kind of like a cover for the perfume. When the lid is on, the perfume looks just like one big rectangular block. But then you slide the lid off to get to the perfume. I quite like this style. It is different, and not something I have ever come across in a perfume before. In terms of the bottle design, I would definately give a 5/5. However, for me, the perfumes scent is not the best I have ever tried, but at the same time, its not the worse. The perfume is very very sweet; it smells almost sugary, like some sort of fizzy drink or sweets. For me, this kind of scent is a bit too overpowering. That being said, it does last for a very long time, which is something that I definately look for in a perfume. In addition, I definately think the scent fits in with the brand. Ed Hardy are known for their loud and out-there designs; so to have a perfume which is light and subtle would be completely weird. That being said, the perfume does get less overpowering as it starts to dry, and because it is sweet, it isnt something which necessarily smells "bad". It's just that for me, this perfume is just a bit too much. It will probably be good for someone in their early teens. (A girl who likes Juicy Couture, Britney Spears Perfume, etc.)
I really like Ed hardy as a brand and have quiet a few t-shirts, tracksuits and bags with some beautiful tattoos also scattered over my body. I love the Ed hardy designs and the colours in the designs are amazing. I was instantly drawn to the Ed hardy perfume range because of the brightly coloured artwork on the packaging that caught my eye in my local boots store. I waited a few months until the Ed hardy hearts and daggers eau de toilette was on special. Ed hardy hearts and daggers eau de toilette can be bought from Boots, Debenhams, Superdrug and the Perfume shop. I have the 100ml bottle this cost me £35.00 from Boots but normal price is £50.00. You can get the perfume in smaller 50ml bottles. The bottle is a rectangular shape and is made from glass. Most of the bottle has tattoo graffiti designs with Ed hardy tattoos, including his most famous love kills slowly design, the tattoos cover the bottle and are very bright and vibrant. The bottle at the bottom is pink this is actually the eau de toilette liquid. The bottle also has the Ed hardy signature and there is a lovely silver coin on the bottle that has the love kill slowly image imprinted on it a really nice touch to the bottle. On the first spray of hearts and daggers i noticed the perfume being really strong straight away and was unsure if i really liked the fruity scent or the strength of the perfume but within minutes i could smell the blood orange, apple, violet and jasmine it seems fruity but has a calming sweet smell, woody even a musky smell once the perfume has a chance to calm down. When the perfume is wearing off completely i am left with a musky wood warm scent. I love the scent of this perfume and all the stages and different scents this perfume gives off but i don't think it would be to everyone's taste. I also think the first spray being so strong and fruity would put people off unaware that the perfume needs time to settle. The perfume contains mango, apple blossoms, blond wood, amber as well as the blood oranges , apples, violet and jasmine. Heart and daggers perfume is ideal for for day or night, the scent lasts around six hours before needing resprayed. I also think the perfume is suitable as an all year fragrance and couldn't be pointed to a winter season or summer. With all the differnt stages this perfume goes through it like a nice surprise each time i smell my wrists. I love this perfume and the bottle is so pretty its just me. I highly recommend the Ed hardy hearts and daggers eau de toilette.
I own a lot of perfumes ranging in price from high street stores own brands to designer ones. The Ed Hardy Hearts and Daggers perfume is somewhere in the middle of these price-wise. It costs around £35 for 50ml and £50 for 100ml so it's not cheap but there are definitely more expensive (and not as nice) perfumes on the market. I bought mine in the post Christmas sales. I got the boxset version which included a 50ml bottle of perfume, glittery body lotion, shower gel, luggage tag and a small handbag sized bottle of perfume for £30 (originally £40). It would have been a bargain at full price but definitely was at £30. The bottle itself is really beautiful. The design is typical of the Ed Hardy style, it looks like someone has tattooed the bottle. The lid is more of a cover that you remove from the top and this is the part with has the design on. It has a large skull and bird in the centre and is surrounded by love hearts and flowers. Once you remove the lid the bottle is plain bright pink and is slightly transparent. This perfume has a very fruity smell to it; however it's not sickly sweet like many floral perfumes. Hearts and Daggers is more fresh smelling and last for a long time on the skin. The nozzle has a wide spray on so covers a lot of skin and you don't have to use too much. It can be strong if you use a lot so a couple of sprays is enough. I wear mine nearly every day but only a small amount has been used from the bottle.
I am a perfume freak, i cant go shopping without passing a perfume counter and buying perfume. I have loads to review soon as im having a clear out to make way for any possible new perfumes i may be getting for christmas. I have been a fan of Ed Hardy for a while now, Ed hardy designs clothes, accessories and perfumes for men and women. His designs are unique as they designed with a tattoo theme. I have owned the Ed Hardy perfume for a while now and feel ready to write a review on it. I bought it from the perfume shop, it cost me £27.50. I feel its a good price to pay for the 30ml bottle. Some shops and online have it well overpriced, as much as £40.00 for the same size of bottle i have. Look around and make sure you get the best price if you want to buy it. The perfume bottle is what caught my eye, its very bold and vibrant. Its a rectangle shaped, the bottom of the bottle is a transparent pink. the rest of the bottle has the classic ed hardy trade mark, the tattoo designs. The design has love kills slowly logo with the love heart design and skulls and roses. The bottle has a round metal coin detail on it which i think looks cool and unusual. The scent is light and fruity, i wear this as a day time perfume as i prefer a heavy scent for evenings or night out on the town. The top notes smell sweet and fruity and smell of blood oranges, violets and apples. The top notes really draw you into the scent and leave a lasting impression. The heart notes smell of mango, apple blossoms and pink jasmine which give a light exotic scent. The base notes smell of cashmere musk, amber and blonde wood i think they are all great combinations that makes a stunning smell. I would highly recommend this perfume to young women, the perfume is gorgeous and vibrant in design, i also love tattoos so i was instantly drawn to the perfume. Its perfect for day time as its not overpowering in anyway but the smell is long lasting. It also looks great on my dressing table. I cant wait to buy more ed hardy perfumes as i was so impressed with this one. I have had lots of compliments while wearing the perfume and everyone asks what perfume i am wearing.
Since Ive recently quit smoking I decided that with the money Im saving I should treat myself to something I normally wouldnt be able to afford to keep me going and keep me not wanting to smoke. Now everyone knows that when someone stops smoking they will start to notice their sence of smell returning and that has just started happening with me so I thought the logical thing to do would be to treat myself to an expensive and lovely perfume and as I had received a sample of this in Debenhams a few weeks earlier and fell in love with the smell I thought this would be a brilliant place to start. The perfume in question is obviously "Ed Hardy Heart & Daggers" which I think is actually quite a new perfume but one I think everyone should go out and try because it is bloody lovely and has quickly become my personal favourite. This perfumeI have to say isnt cheap but I reckon it is worth every single penny as everything about it is brilliant. A 50ml bottle will set you back around £36 and a 100ml bottle is £72 which is very expensive in my opinion but if you can afford that then I strongly suggest you buy this perfume because it is gorgeous. Im sure it can be picked up for slightly less than that but those prices are based on the Superdrug website. The bottle of this perfume really is beautiful and the best bottle design I have seen in a very long time. Now I know this bottle has people divided as some people think its really tacky and rubbish and people like me think is is really nice as it is very typical Ed Hardy design. The top of the bottle is covered in tattoo pictures which incude skulls, hearts and flowers and are all entwined together and go really well together. There is the typical Love Kills Slowly design across the hearts which is definately the nicest part of the bottle in my opinion. There are loads of colours splashed across this bottle and even though the main colour is a bright pink I really like that this isnt ultra feminine and girly it just has a brilliant design and it is very in keeping with Ed Hardy's other designs - I have a vest from this range that is very similar. I really do love this bottle and I think it would make a nice addition to any womans perfume collection Ill be keeping mine after the perfume has run out thats for sure! The bottle is super unique thats for sure whatever your opinions on it! Ive actually just read that this is described as the ultimate floral fragrance but in my opinion that description couldnt be more wrong as this if anything is one of the frutiest perfumes I have ever smelt and I cant smell any floral notes to this at all well until it dies down loads. Having a peek around the internet I found the main ingredients that make this scent what it is and those are as follows: Blood Orange, Gala Apple, Violet Leaf, Apple Blossom, Pink Jasmine & waves of Mango so with all those very fruity notes I dont understand how/why this is marketed as a floral fragrance as it is not in the slightest. As you might be able to guess the apple is the most noticable and strong note when you first spray it and it does smell incredibly fruity with a proper sweet yet sharp edge which I think must be down to the blood orange and although the immediate scent is VERY sweet and fruity it is overpowering in the slightest its actually a lot lighter than you will imagine. That does take quite a while to die down and fade into an all together msukier yet still quite fruity scent and it gets much heavier the longer you are wearing it when the mango and violet leaf scents start to get stronger and make more on an appearance but is still by no means a floral scent just a muskier and heavier fruity one so it moves from a daytime to evening fragrance throughout the course of the day. The imeediate scent doesnt die down for about 3 hours so if you apply this in the afternoon then as it comes to evening the scent will change so its like a time changing scent and that makes it very versatile and means you dont need to reapply very often at all. I bloody looooooove this fragrance!! Oh and it lasts for about 6-7 hours before you need to re-apply which I think is brilliant. I think this perfume as it has two very different stages the sweet and fruity and then musky and fruit so that makes is suitable for both day and evening wear and because its light enough for the day but heavy enough for the night and its not very often you get a perfume you can wear all the time. Again Im not sure what age group to recommend this scent to as I think it could be suitable for most people and as long as you like the smell I dont think you could be too old or too young to wear this and pull it off so this is a great all rounder perfume I think. It is quite expensive but I fully recommend it as it really is a gorgeous scent, a fabulous bottle and the scent lasts ages without needing to reapply so it is definately worth it.
