I was luck enough to have this purchased for me a a present. The perfume itself is a light mixture of flowers, two of the more unusal ones are baie rose and karo karundi, the first from the reunion island the second from a west africian shrub. It is these that give the perfume a slight peppery tone.

The main scents to be found are of lily and violet leaf, leading to less powerful undertones of the fragrances of lilac,peony,pink,jasmine,rose,karo-karundi and the baie rose . Yet further still to enrich the stunning fragrance is added sandelwood and patchouli. The sandelwood and patchouli are long lasting odours and are used as a type of fixative.

Estee lauder pleasures perfume was created by firmenich perfumers in 1995 and it was the first Estee lauder fragrance fronted by elizabeth hurley.It is obtainable in most cosmetic type areas of shops neatly contained in a glass, slightly frosted bottle with a stopper.Then gift wrapped in a pink box with gold writing.

As the perfume is so light and floral it can be worn all through the day and it does last very well you only need a small drop,which will linger on your skin for about 4 to 6 hours. The fragrance can be further enhanced with other items in the range e.g. lotions. The prices vary but a small bottle of about 50ml was £17.50 in debenhams store. Obviously the price goes up as the size does.

In all I find that it is a good perfume to wear and is not overpowering.It's like walking amongst a field of flowers sprinkled with morning dew. Just after the raindrops have fallen.
