Have been wearing this perfume for the past 3-4 years and there is nothing which comes close to it. The smell is that of utter glamour and grace it's not subtle but not over powering and the fragrance lasts hours, usually until the next morning.
There are cheaper perfumes around, and the price of this is the reason it is not an every day perfume but you do pay for the quality and this is head and shoulders above any other perfume I've had or tried.
The bottle is attractive and looks well on your dressing table, small and classic and the box had mini diamontees on which make great packaging if this is to be bought as a gift.
No woman would ever be disappointed with this perfume and if it is ever on offer anywhere, half price, B.O.G.O.F you can be sure there will be a frenzy over it!
Wow I can't believe everybody in the world isn't wearing this perfume, its amazing! I first recieved this as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and its now one of my absolute favourite perfumes of all time.
I feel the price is relative to the quality of the perfume. It is by no means the cheapest on the market but for the price (around £35 for a small bottle) every penny has been well spent. The bottle is not the brightest, flashiest on the shelf but its still a very nice design and not some outrageous shape like many others on the market. Its the kind of bottle you can take along with you in your handbag.
I have certain perfumes that I consider "day timers" and certain perfumes I consider "night timers" however this is the only perfume in my collection that is literally perfect for every occasion be it work, uni, bars and clubs. SO many people have commented on how great the perfume smells which is always a nice compliment. The smell itself is subtle, elegant, glamourous, seductive, sophisticated and fresh. I am a sucker for vanilla scents and whilst I didn't expect vanilla in this perfume, it wasnt a big surprise when I read that the base scent is vanilla.
I wouldn't say this perfume is age restrictive. I am 22 but I think it would suit women of all ages. If you are going to purchase one perfume in your life I really, highly recommend it be this one! Its at the top of my Christmas list every year!

Emporia Armani Diamonds Perfume
I am a sucker for a specks offer and when I saw this bottle of perfume in my local Boots store with a small price reduction I was tempted in by the saving, the name of the brand and of course the snazzy design of the bottle. Seeing as my local boots is only a small one they didn't have a bottle of this perfume open so I was unable to have a sniff to see if I actually liked it or not so I was buying a bit of a mystery really.
The 30ml bottle of perfume cost me a little under the £30 price tag which is not that bad really and probably about what I would usually pay for a named perfume of this type. The price is exceptional when I now know that a little bit of this perfume does go a long way which makes it even more desirable. The bottle design is a good one and a must say that I really like the clear glass and the clear liquid inside the spray bottle which gives it a clean and fresh feel to it. The spray nozzle of the bottle is easy to use and works like a pump action spray would normally work. The silver effect make up of this section of the bottle adds even more to the clean crisp and like a diamond feel that the bottle has and all in all the design of the bottle is a very good one and it looks classy whilst being understated.
The scent of the perfume really is something rather special and in my opinion a little different to any other perfume I personally have used before. There is a light freshness to it which is very feminine and womanly and this seems to sit well on my skin and work with my own natural aroma. There is a definite sweetness to the scent although this is very light and doesn't make the perfume feel sickly or too girly either. The sweetness this scent holds seems to pass quickly as one of the first notes and leave the slightly deeper key notes and base notes lingering on the skin. There is a mix of floral tones in the key tones but this is a light and fresh scent which feels vibrant and i feel all together really special.
I can't recommend this perfume highly enough and I is certainly a fragrance that I shall be buying again and again. I feel it is worth the money I paid and more as my bottle is lasting me well seeing as a couple of squirts is all that is needed and it is strong enough to last all day as it has very good staying power.
The scent is one that can be worm day or night and in any season in my opinion. I feel it is not a really young persons scent but neither is it fitting for the older audience. For the woman aged in her late 20s to early 40s this is an ideal sent for any occasion.
I think it is a top scoring perfume and one that I would be more than happy to award the top score of 5 out of 5 stars and give it an exceptionally high recommendation. It ticks all the right boxes for me which is why I feel that it is a keeper.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read
Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau de Parfum
I had never had an Emporio Armani perfume before last Christmas when my partner's lovely mother bought me a bottle of the Emporio Armani Diamonds. I thought it was nice enough of her to buy me a bottle of perfume, but even better a very good smelling perfume!
Emporio Armani is a sub label of Giorgio Armani which is an international Italian fashion house who design and create many lovely products such as sunglasses, fashion items, shoes and perfumes. I would say it is one of the top brands that you can buy and very well known.
I had seen this bottle many times in the shops before I owned one and always thought it was very pretty and striking. The bottle is made of a thick, clear glass that is shaped like a diamond to match the perfumes name. The glass is shaped with many cut facets that are both smooth and sharp with the Emporio Armani eagle is engraved on the front of the diamond glass.
The top of the bottle where the spray nozzle sits, is a reflective silver rectangular shape, almost like a bottle lid. You press down the top of this rectangle and magically the diamonds are released! It is a lovely, feminine and delicate looking bottle - much like the scent itself.
Emporio Armani Diamonds is a light and sweet fragrance, but not overly girly or overpoweringly floral which suits me as I don't particularly like these factors in a scent that I am wearing. On first spraying the perfume I can immediately smell the lychee and rose notes which then settle into a more subtle yet intense flavour. I would say that I can really smell all of the main notes in the fragrance which I often struggle to make out individually.
All of the notes go together really, really well and it is a strong and feminine scent that is brilliant for both day to night wear. It also has a sexiness to it, the bottle suggests this and the scent delivers it. In addition to an amazingly beautiful scent the perfume also gives you diamonds on your skin. The liquid has some very subtle yet sparkly ingredient it in that leaves a lovely shimmer glow over your skin.
This perfume has a very good staying power and lasts well throughout the day, it also clings to clothes which you could say is either a good or a bad thing!
Rose, lily of the valley, patchouli, freesia
Vetiver, amber, vanilla
This perfume comes in a 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml bottle and prices start from £30 looking online. I highly recommend this scent and will be buying another bottle when this has finished.
I can't remember what inspired me to try this perfume in the shop but I am so glad that I did. This is probably my favourite perfume of all time. It's not too expensive - a small bottle can generally be bought for around £25 if you shop about and I've found that a small bottle (even using it pretty much everyday) will last over a year.
The perfume comes in an understated white box with what I assume are crystals implanted into the box to give the effect of diamonds. The bottle itself is glass and cut into the shape of a diamond. The bottle is quite heavy and as a result I probably wouldn't want to carry it around in my handbag. Unfortunately the perfume cant be decanted either - well I cant work out how to get the lid off without smashing the bottle but someone a little more practical than I might...! That said, I often spray it in the morning around 7am before I leave the house and on many an occasion I have been complemented on it later on in the evening so the scent really does last all day.
It's a sweet but not too sweet, feminine scent that frequently brings about the statement - damn you smell good, what are you wearing? It's a great perfume for everyday use and never seems to get old. I'd happily wear it whatever season.
Armani Diamonds is another perfume that was in a set of miniatures that I was given last Christmas. Although its name sounds very grand, the bottle didn't really stand out when I first looked at it and the other perfumes in the set looked more tantalising. However, I didn't want to judge a book by its cover and soon got round to trying it out.
Before I get to the actual scent, I'll give an overview of the bottle, as this is definitely a factor that I take into consideration when I'm picking out a new perfume. Looking at it now, it's still as underwhelming as it was when I first saw it. Although its general shape is oval, its surface is like that of a cut diamond, made up of dozens of flat sides angled together to give an overall rounded shape. The Giorgio Armani eagle logo is placed in the centre of the front of the bottle in the middle of a flattened octagon. It's faint and subtle, which I definitely prefer to some of the in-your-face brand logos you get. This is one bottle that's obviously trying to be about more than just branding. Its lid is a plain silver cube, slightly concave at the top, which fits well with the look of the bottle and the diamond theme. While there's nothing unattractive about the bottle, I don't really like the cold look of it; it's obviously appropriate for its theme, but there's something quite clinical and masculine about it and it's definitely not one I'd be drawn to on a shop shelf.
Judging by its appearance, I was expecting the scent itself to be quite cold and aloof, and on first sniff, it seemed I was right. Once on my skin, however, the scent did develop and grow on me, although it's still not one I'd call warm or sensual. Here is a detailed breakdown of the scent:
Heart notes: Rose, lily of the valley, patchouli, freesia
Top notes: Lychee, raspberry
Base notes: Vetiver, amber, vanilla
Described on the box as 'sparkling and audacious', the words that spring to mind when I smell this are confidence and sophistication- it's a bold, driven scent that I feel would be most suited for daytime wear by a woman in her twenties onwards. It's definitely not one to wear if you prefer subtle, romantic scents, although the floral notes definitely add a softness that comes through after about an hour of wearing it. I definitely prefer this perfume once it's had a chance to calm down on my skin , although by then the scent is quite faint- its staying power isn't great.
Out of the different perfumes in the sets I received, there are a few that I love, a few I loathe and a few that I'm neutral about- this is definitely one of the latter. Objectively, I'd say it's a pleasant scent that I probably ought to like, but subjectively, it really doesn't excite or intrigue me and I feel it lacks character. Perhaps this is just because it doesn't really reflect my own personality, or perhaps Armani wanted to keep the scent fairly neutral to give it a wider appeal- either way, it's not one I'll be buying for myself, although I'm happy enough to wear it occasionally until my little bottle is used up.
Armani Diamonds costs around £45 for a 50ml bottle of EDP which I'd happily pay if it was a scent I loved, but as it is, I feel it's slightly overpriced.
They say that diamonds are a girl's best friend but what about Armani Diamonds? Well I had a huge amount of perfume for my birthday and Christmas and most are still in there boxes. As I fancied something different I was looking through my boxes and came across Armani Diamonds.
Armani Diamonds Eau De Parfum:
'Emporio Armani Diamonds Eau de Parfum sensory blend is a surprising gourmand fragrance to give a stone a flavour and to a woman a self confident and audacious feeling'
Top Notes - Lychee and Raspberry
Middle Notes - Freesia, Muguet and Rose
Base Notes - Vanilla, Patchouli, Cedar and Vetiver
It has only been a couple of weeks since I opened up this gorgeous set; I had never smelt it before then. I must say I have fallen in love with it. I personally think it's a wonderful feminine fragrance which is not plastered in pink and it has a really irresistible aroma.
When first applying this fragrance I only did a small spray on the wrist as I didn't know if I was going to like it or not. But from the first sniff I was hooked, and added a few more sprays! For the past week I have used this perfume almost every day, I just adore the scent and it lasts all day long.
For me when first applying I get the scent of the sweet Lychee with a mild bust of raspberry but only very mild hint. Once it has sat on my skin I can smell a wonderful warm rose aroma which mellows into the scrumptious vanilla and patchouli. Throughout the day you do get hints of all the notes which with most perfumes I don't normally tend to notice, however I could pick up on most of the notes within this fragrance.
I can apply this perfume first thing on a morning and come the evening time you can still get hints of it on your skin; even the next day I could smell it on my coat. Due to the great staying power you would think it would be incredibly strong when first applying but surprisingly I find this perfume to be very fragrant but not in the least over powering.
The notes within this perfume are personally for me just perfect and one I would wear everyday, daytime wear and going out. Today however I'm back to my Boss Orange as I really don't want to end up over using this one! When wearing Armani Diamonds the aroma for me has a sunny day in the field's kind of smell, which really does make you feel happy and uplifted.
The bottle packaging is an oval replica of a diamond with the Armani logo in its centre looking quiet elegant but also rather simple. The logo is rather faint and only really noticeable when looking at the bottle close up. It has a silver top which is a spray applicator.
Price and Availability:
30ml - £30.50
50ml - £46.00
100ml - £62.00
Prices above were taken from the Boot's web site however always wise to Google as you may find them much cheaper.
This fragrance also comes in the Armani Diamonds Summer Edition and Armani Diamonds Delight for women. Also Armani Diamonds comes in a men's fragrance range too.
Mine came in a gift set which two matching body lotions which are just as wonderful as the perfume.
Wish I never waited so long to take this baby out of its box; it truly has now become one of my favourites and sits next to my favourite collection! I love the scent, how it makes me feel and well just everything about this fragrance. If I had to put an age suitability on this perfume I would say anyone 20 + I really think this will cater for a great age range and not just a one age target audience.
A massive five out of five stars from me.
Thanks for reading :o)
Armani is a high end fashion range that has a huge collection of accessories for men and women including - bags, jewellery, belts, glasses, shoes etc Plus they also have their own underwear and clothing range.
As I know of, this perfume is sold in 3 sizes.
30ml, 50ml and 100ml.
Prices are from around £30.00 for the smallest up to £70.00 for the largest.
If you look around on the internet on in your local perfume store you will more than likely find this on offer as I have seen it on offer a lot.
I think the bottle of this perfume is quite pretty, it looks rather expensive on any dressing table.
It is clear bottle which is oval shaped and looks like a huge diamond, this matches the name of the perfume perfectly doesn't it!
On the front of the bottle is the Armani logo which is engraved on to it.
On the top of the bottle is a silver 'button' which is where the spray comes out.
Looking at the bottle you would expect it to be rather heavy but its actually really light and not heavy at all, and unless you had the 100ml bottle this would be fine in your handbag, you wouldn't even know that it was there ( but then again, maybe this is because I was given it with most of the perfume gone..but still. )
I couldn't comment on the box as I didn't receive this but I'm sure its lovely.
Overall, the look of this bottle tells me that the scent inside will be quite grown up and elegant and very 'posh'.
My cousin likes to pass on things to me when they get boring or she just isn't interested any more, she give me this bottle when there was around 15ml left from the 50ml bottle.
This perfume actually contains raspberry, I have so many perfumes but barely any of them have raspberry in, it was fun to try out something new especially when it contains one of my favourite fruits!
Incase any of you are curious, I found this information online for you so you can know what scents are contained within the perfumes:
Rose, lily of the valley, patchouli, freesia
Vetiver, amber, vanilla
The rose which is contained in this perfume is apparently meant to of been made into a kind of rose scent which you can eat, so while the perfume is on you, you smell eatable!
Well when I sprayed I was quite disappointed, it was just one of those 'Meh' perfumes, I was expecting a lot more from such a well known brand and it looked so expensive.
The smell was quite bland and weak on my skin, it didn't really smell of much if I'm honest, I had heard that this had picked up awards and I don't know how, it was nothing special at all.
It is a very pretty fragrance though, its quite floral and comes across quite 'foreign' if you know what I mean, its rather a light, weak exotic fragrance..not overpowering at all.
I found that it was best for day time wear as it was nothing special and I like to wear something a bit more bold on a night out. The smell is very long lasting, a good 8 hours, it smells the same throughout the day, but it is quite weak and I highly doubt you would be able to smell it on me if you stood next to me.
When on I do think that most of the scents come through, especially the rose and amber, they seem to be the scents which stand out the most to me whilst this perfume is on, the rest just kind of mingle in the background and they do work with each other very nicely.
Its a clean, fresh and modern fragrance which can be worn by any age, any time of the year during the day, but after having this its not something I would go out and buy.
One of my favourite perfumes ever is one thats made by Armani and that is because in my opinion is simply screams elegance and sophistication. Anyway totally based on my opinion of that one perfume (which is Armani Code if your wondering) I decided to try out as many other Armani perfumes as I possibly could. Starting with this 'Armani Diamonds' which I had been wanting to try for absolutely ages and I finally got a chance when my mom gave me a bottle a few weeks ago as an early Christmas present. Im very glad I tried this perfume out but I wouldnt say its going to become one of my all time favourites.
Price: 30ml - £32.50 50ml - £42.99 (The prices for this scent do vary greatly so shop around for a good deal.
Stockists: Boots, Superdrug, The Perfume Shop & Amazon.
Other Info: Said to be a mostly floral perfume offering that will help you to feel: confident, elegant and charismatic.
Theres no denying the bottle for this perfume in my opinion is simply stunning and one of the main reasons I wanted to try this one out. Its not the most colourful bottle ever but it doesnt need to be because it fits the name and theme so well it doesnt need to use bright colours to attract peoples attention. The bottle is you may have guessed is in the shape of a large clear diamond with the Armani logo embedded on the front. Its a very simple design yet it fits in with the theme so well and it is simply gorgeous I think, I also like the fact thats it is see through so you can see exactly how much of the scent is left all the time. A very elegant, stunning & feminine bottle. Best thing about the perfume as a whole I think.
I always say how rubbish I am at describing individual notes in a perfume so I did have a little help from around the net to find out the notes in this one - so cheers to basenotes.net. So the main notes in this perfume are as follows: Lychee, Raspberry, Freesia, Rose, Vanilla, Cedar & Patchouli. I have to say since I used this perfume before seeing those ingredients I am quite surprised as I wasnt expecting so many fruity scents as this perfume smells much more floral to me - in fact I can hardly detect any fruity scents in this one at all. So dont let that list fool you its nothing like you will expect.
At first - and throughout the whole perfume - the Rose, Freesia, Patchouli & Vanilla are the strongest scents there is a definite musky undertone to the scent which in my opinion does ruin it a little bit as at first it does overpower any of the other scents a bit. The musky tones do stay throughout the whole wearing experience but thankfully it dies down loads and becomes much more pleasant. The scent gets much heavier as time goes on and the Cedar & Vanilla become much more powerful scents which makes the scent as a whole much more enjoyable I think and I wish those scents had been more noticable at the beginning. I cant detect any of the Lychee or Raspberry scents at all in this perfume and Im surprised to find they are the top notes in this as they are not detectable to me at all - maybe you need a stronger nose!
The scent is nice but the musky tones are simply too strong for me and make the overall smell a little dusty (try it and you'll see what I mean) but apart from that this is very enjoyable to wear and use. Not my favourite perfume ever and not the best Armani offering but its very nice all the same. Try before you buy because this one wont be for everyone.
This perfume has brilliant staying power I think as it tends to last on my skin for around 8-9 hours which is much better than the average perfume in my opinion. You dont have to keep re-applying this all the time so it makes buying it better value for money overall.
I would recommend this perfume to 20's and over as I think this is more of a grown up fragrance and I know when I was a younger teen I dont think I would have liked this one. I also would say this perfume is suitable for any time of day or year as although it is pretty floral its not so light you cant wear it at night. Its a pretty versatile scent overall.
Thanks For Reading.

I received a bottle of the Armani Diamonds perfume a couple of Christmases ago and although it is not a perfume I would have picked up myself I do really like the fragrance. I do not know why but Armani is never my first choice for fragrances but after using this fragrance I will definitely give them more of a chance in the future.
The bottle to this perfume is quite simplistic but elegant, nothing more than what you would expect from a high end perfume. The bottle is clear and has a diamond effect with the Armani logo engraved on the front. I quite like the diamond effect of the bottle as it gives the perfume a real sense of luxury; this is topped off with the square silver lid on the top. The lid has a square button on the top which you use to squirt the perfume; I would recommend you spray the perfume quite far away from you as the spray is quite widely spread.
When initially smelling this perfume I can honestly say it is quite hard to decipher. It is not too sweet or musky; it is more of a midway fragrance. The perfume smell is instant and can be smelt from the lid of the bottle even before smelling it.
After looking online I have found out that the notes of the perfume are as follows:
Top Notes: Lychee, Raspberry.
Middle Notes: Freesia, Muguet, Rose.
Base Notes: Vanilla, Patchouli, Cedar, Vetiver.
Once I had read this I did start to recognise the scents. The sweetness of the raspberry is complimented by the subtle scents of the vanilla and rose to create a sexy yet simplistic scent. I have to say I cannot really smell the floral elements of the perfume, usually floral elements come across quite strong but this perfume hides them very well and perhaps uses them as more of an undertone to create emphasis on the other elements.
Once the perfume has been worn for a couple of hours the scent is very light and vanilla is the most recognisable scent. This remains on the skin for hours. It is a very durable scent, I had worn the perfume underneath a scarf and put the scarf in my wardrobe and when I put it on a week later I could still smell the perfume on it.
Due to the subtleness and freshness of this scent I would recommend it both for day wear and evening wear. The initial scent of the perfume is quite sensual; this is ideal for the evening but once it has developed it becomes sweet and airy, perfect for the daytime.
Who should wear this perfume?
Well in my personal opinion I really do think that this is perfect for any one. It is a very versatile scent and its various elements would compliment any woman perfectly.
The cheapest price that I have found online today is £20.89 from FragranceOnline that is for a 30ml bottle. This is a great price for the quality of the perfume that you are receiving. As I mentioned before I think this would suit almost every body so if you can get it at such a great price I would say it would make a great present (Christmas is only round the corner!).
This is a gorgeous perfume and it is definitely one that stands out from the crowd. It is different from the girly, sweet scents I usually wear but I really do like it and always get asked what perfume I am wearing when I have it on. A strong 10 out of 10 from me.

** Emporio Armani Diamonds - Eau de Parfum **
Giorgio Armani was born on July 11, 1934 in the town of Piacenza in Italy. Armani originally studied medicine, but he changed this study to photography. After graduating, he moved to Milan where he worked as window dresser at a large department store to get started. Through many detours he opened his first atelier in 1974, he releases his first men's collection with his name on it and in 1975 opened his first store in Milan. And it is a success, after his first store in Milan, he opened more shops and builds an empire on which jeans and T-shirts are no longer simple, but a lifestyle. After a while he attaches his name to men and women's fragrances.
In 2007 Armani came with this one on the market and the first time is tried it out must be over a year ago. I first time I tried I liked it from the beginning. It isn't an overpowering fragrance and more flowery while I normally like more the spicier fragrances. The ingredients are: lychee, raspberry, blueberry, gourmand, rose, lily of the valley, vanilla, cedar and amber. It really has a warm scent in the beginning but becomes fresher when it settles down.
The scent of this eau de parfum is sweet but not overpowering and perfect for a night out! It is transparent in color and looks like water. The bottle is shaped like a diamond and is made of glass. In the middle of the bottle is the Emporio Armani logo engraved and it looks quite simple, but elegant. The bottle has a rectangular silver metal spray which has the brand name, product name and ingredients. It is available in 30, 50 and 100ml.
Now I'm not a fan of floral scents, but this is really delicious. Especially after some ten minutes, the warm scents of the wood seem to emerge. The fragrance is sweet yet a bit spicy. It's a very subtle scent which I like and it last about 4 hours. A great scent that comes at a price of 30 pounds for 30ml.
I love perfume and this is another of my favourites.
I try different perfumes all the time and when I saw the advert for diamonds I knew I had to try it. I think the bottle is one of the really good things about it as it looks so stylish and sophisticated and although it is simple it suits the name of the perfume perfectly as it is like a diamond and is like a crystal. It is small enough to fit in my handbag but because the bottle is full of perfume you still get plenty in the bottle.
The smell of this perfume is really lovely. It is quite fruity and feminine but also very sexy. It has raspberry scents but not subtle rather than smelling like a piece of fruit. It is not an overpowering fragrance and I use it every day and is great for both day and night.
I think I paid about £35 for it which I think is a reasonable price for perfume and I definately think this one is worth the money. It lasted my a long time as the fragrance lasts and I didn't have to keep applying it all the time.
A fabulous fragrance that lasts all day.
Right from the name this is an attractive perfume. The name diamonds was designed to appeal to 'Armani' woman; those considered to exude elegance, desirability and sexiness. This perfume certainly is worthy of this kind of woman.
The perfume came in a fairly simple box with the words Emporio Armani written, with the eagle logo in between and 'Diamonds' written below. It is also studded in a few places to look as though there are diamonds on the box. The simple design has a good effect and I like the way Armani don't make their packaging too fancy as that is the part that is going to be instantly thrown away.
The bottle itself is clear glass cut with triangles and diamond shapes to make it look like a diamond itself. The effect is stunning. On the top of the bottle is a large, rectangle, chrome spray, with a large depress button, making it harder to miss or end up with most of the perfume on your finger. The front of the bottle as the simple Giorgio Armani logo. The bottle curves itself nicely into your palm as you pick it up to spray.
The bottle contains 50 ml of perfume (1.7 Fl oz), there is a 30ml bottle available (1.01 Fl oz). The perfume itself is clear, with a slight bluish tint which gives a nice look to the diamond glass.
The head notes of this perfume, also known as the top notes, which are the first scent you sense after spraying the perfume and do not last long, have a sharp raspberry scent which I personally find a little shocking, but it then moves into the heart notes which are my favourite.
These heart, or middle notes, are very floral with fragrances of rose, lily of the valley and freesia. The base notes also have a nice scent, they are more woody with smells of vanilla and cedar. Overall it is a very refreshing scent and isn't too heavy.
Thierry Wasser designed this fragrance for Armani, and seeing as he has created scents for brands such as Dior he wasn't going to make a mistake with this scent. Diamonds follows his classic floral tones.
Once you have sprayed the perfume you definitely know you are wearing it with its strong top notes. I find the initial scent too strong for me, but as it settles in it becomes a perfume that is comfortable to wear, either during the day, to work or on a night out. I didn't find that the perfume had as good a staying power as some of my other perfumes, like Dolce and Gabbana, but it was still around for a little while and I do find that as I move about I get the occasional extra wave of rose or vanilla.
If you are looking to buy this perfume remember that it is an Armani product and you are going to pay for the name, a lot of their perfumes are around £40 for a 50ml bottle. I would recommend shopping around online as you may be able to get 30ml bottle for about £20 on the right websites. The perfume shop website may be a good place to look.
Before 'Diamonds' I had never really worn perfume before, I wasn't too fussed on buying it or wearing it. But being a huge Beyonce fan the advert sucked me in and I HAD to try it.
Diamonds perfume is made up of the following notes:
Heart notes - Rose, lily of the valley, patchouli, freesia
Top notes - Lychee, raspberry
Base notes - Vetiver, amber, vanilla
The packaging is lovely, it comes in a white box with sparkles on! The bottle is shaped like a diamond and looks elegant sitting on my dressing table.
There are no worries about spraying this anywhere but where you want it! ( Like in your eyes, ouch ), as it has a large vapouriser on the top to make sure it goes exactly where you want. Its easy to hold and the actual spray is strong so one spritz is sufficient.
I always get compliments after I have sprayed it, however I don't think it lasts as long as I expected it to. Maybe thats just me as other reviews seem to be impressed with how long it lasts!
I bought this from Boots with the free body lotion. I think the body lotion smells like any other one so I don't really use that, but it was free!
The smell of the perfume is perfect though, so sweet and feminine but not like most of the usual sickly, floral perfumes.
I completely recommend this! Diamonds are a girls best friend? Oh yes.
I recieved this for Christmas last year and I have to admit to slight disappointment. Of my choice of fragrances, this would not even have been in my top ten. I had smelt it as a tester just two weeks before and to me it was just forgettable.
However, once I started wearing it my opinion changed. The smell I thought was slighly too much in the musky category became just the right amount of musk! I now find this scent to be sexy, slighly floral and a bit spicy. It lasts all day (even i can smell it on myself come afternoon at work) and literally only one or two "spritzes" will suffice.
The bottle is gorgeous and is a very sexy addition to your perfume collection.I still have plenty left even though this is my casual perfume and gets alot of use. I got a large bottle in a gift set with a body lotion which was about £40 but very good value for money as it genuinely lasts.
An audacious and sexy fusion of scents that reflect the strong, modern woman / Featuring the freshness of raspberry and lychee, and invigorated with the pure femininity of rose and the sensual rhythm of patchouli and amber / A unique indulgence for your senses /
