A scent is always difficult to describe with words only, especially when you're enthusiastic about it. Armani's own website describes it as the sensation of white cotton slipped over clean, fresh skin. It further calls it simple and direct. I'm not sure if I agree; simple - I'd call it complex, it defies being put into any category. Direct - it's not overbearing but demands attention by being unique and understated. You keep wanting more, the individual notes are impossible to guess at but the composition is irresistible. The initial fresh notes of bergamot, lemon and mandarin soon settle into a soft spicyness composed of thyme and ... Read the complete review

This is mainly about the second fragrance in this series, but there is no section for it so I put it in here. I purchused this a year ago on a flight back from Kos in a bargin pack of 40 pounds for both White For Her and the Original, which was just a way for me to spend the remaining Euro's that I had floating around in my purse. Personally I think this was the best money Ive spent on tolietries. Let me explain. Now, Im one of these people who buy scented things on the smell rather than the name and brand of the product. Now argue what you will about brand names and labelling, but Im not swayed by it. I came across this product while on holiday in ... Read the complete review

OK, so I only own one Armani product... ...and it is this perfume!! ~~~~~~~~~~ I suppose writing about a perfume is one of the hardest reviews to write, but I figured that I would give this one a go anyway as it is one of my fav fragrances and I wanted to share it with you all. I first discovered this perfume about two years ago when I was working in Boots the Chemists. Always one to try out new scents, it wasn't unusual to see me hovering around the fragrance counter when I was supposed to be doing my work. When Armani 'She' was on display, I picked it up, sprayed it and that was it - pretty much what I did with ... Read the complete review

I treated myself to a bottle of Emporio Armani (aka She, Elle, Lui)last year after spending about half an hour at the perfume counter smelling just about everything they had. Once I came across this one, I knew it was the perfume for me, and that I could wear it any time anywhere and feel confident that no one was being offended by what they saw as a horrible pong. The smell of Emporio Armani falls into the trade category of 'oriental vanillic' perfumes, meaning that its most significant notes are vanilla, flowers, powder and musk. It seems that all my all-time favourites - Obsession, Shalimar - fall into this category. It's something ... Read the complete review

My partner bought this perfume for me along with the male version for himself when I ran out of my usual perfume and fancied a change. The smell is lovely, its quite musky with scents of vanilla, its very modern and sexy and quite "grown up", its not sickly sweet like a teen fragrance. It is quite strong so you do not need to reapply it, but its not so strong that it is choking! I think it is quite heavy so it is better for evening wear, rather than day to day use. As my partner bought the male version, which isn equally nice, ive had the chance to smell the two together and the fragrances complement eachother beautifully. I would ... Read the complete review
