Advantages: Smells lovely, Lasts ages

Disadvantages: Expensive

I treated myself to a bottle of Emporio Armani (aka She, Elle, Lui)last year after spending about half an hour at the perfume counter smelling just about everything they had.

Once I came across this one, I knew it was the perfume for me, and that I could wear it any time anywhere and feel confident that no one was being offended by what they saw as a horrible pong.

The smell of Emporio Armani falls into the trade category of 'oriental vanillic' perfumes, meaning that its most significant notes are vanilla, flowers, powder and musk. It seems that all my all-time favourites - Obsession, Shalimar - fall into this category. It's something about he combination of vanilla and musk that gets me.

Emporio Armani is a flowery, powdery smell when you first put it on, but setles down to a warm, mellow vanilla and musk. It also lasts ages. I put it on for work in the mornings and never have to reapply as its still there come 8 pm if I'm going out. So not only is it lovely, it's value for money too.

Within the first wek of wearing this I had half a dozen people ask what it was, and the compliments keep on coming.

It comes in a very stylish silvery-goldy tube shaped bottle which looks great on your dressing table. No fancy embossing or lettering, just pure and simple classic style.

I paid £29 for 50ml at Boots but I've since been told you can get it at least a fiver cheaper if you do a search on uk.kelkoo.com.

It's feminine without being too girly and although it's aimed at the 18-35 age group for marketing purposes(I got this info from a marketing book), it's really suitable for any age as it's quite timeless and elegant. I'd say it's also suitable for day and evening, normal days and special occasions - an all-purpose fragrance.

Get some and let your senses be seduced!

Yes! I agree! I've been using Empoio Armani for men for the last few years and totally agree with all you say. The scent stays with you throughout the day and I've attracted attention from both sexes when wearing it. I see no need to wear anything else. Jon
