OK, so I only own one Armani product...

...and it is this perfume!!

~~~~~~~~~~
I suppose writing about a perfume is one of the hardest reviews to write, but I figured that I would give this one a go anyway as it is one of my fav fragrances and I wanted to share it with you all.
I first discovered this perfume about two years ago when I was working in Boots the Chemists. Always one to try out new scents, it wasn't unusual to see me hovering around the fragrance counter when I was supposed to be doing my work. When Armani 'She' was on display, I picked it up, sprayed it and that was it - pretty much what I did with all perfumes. However, I have to admit I quite liked that one and whenever I passed the counter I'd have another skoosh (yes, that is a technical perfume-spraying term!!!)
~~~~~~~~~~

I'm not quite sure just what attracted me to this perfume but it became an instant favourite. Now, I'm not one for very strong, in-your-face fragrances and generally go for subtle scents which linger without being too overpowering (after all, you don't want to scare everyone away, especially your other half!). This, I suppose was what I liked about 'She' (or 'Elle' if you want to be chic!) because although when you first spray it on, it does seem to be a bit strong, it soon settles and has an aromatic, almost sweet fragrance. This is probably because it contains vanilla and jasmine and I found that the subtle scent lingered for hours. I must point out that I hate vanilla with a passion but this perfume does not have a vanilla aroma at all.

If you are a fan of floral and light fragrances yet want something that tiny bit stronger (perhaps for going out at night) then you may want to give 'She' a try. On the other hand, if you usually use strong fragrances, then 'She' may be a great daytime perfume as it has a more subtle aroma that lasts well. I pers
onally use it for both day-time and night-time wear depending on my mood.

~~~~~~~~~~
As many of you girlies out there will know, 'layering' helps the fragrance to last longer and Emporio Armani have not let us down on the matching deodorant and bath gel. All too often, the so-called matching products smell nothing like the eau de toilette but I can vouch for the fact that with 'She', this is not the case. The bath gel is wonderful and produces plenty of bubbles and the fragrance lingers in the bathroom for ages afterwards.
The body lotion also has an aroma very close to 'She' as well, albeit a bit more subtle and sweeter. The lotion is quite thin and spreads well, meaning only a small amount is needed to cover a large area and the fragrance lasts quite a few hours which is average for lotions like these. I personally wouldn't use it as my regular body lotion as I prefer something a bit more moisturising but it's great to use just after a bath or shower if you are going out for the night and want your perfume to last longer.
~~~~~~~~~~

Obviously, prices vary from store to store but the approximate average price in high street stores for the 50ml EDT is around £29.50 although if you shop around then you may get it cheaper especially if you visit the various online perfume and make-up discount sites.

This is definitely one of my favourite fragrances and I have yet to tire of it - even though I usually have half a dozen bottles on my dressing table that I use depending on my mood (please don't tell me I'm the only one that does that!)

So give it a go, you never know, it may just be what you are looking for.

And guys, please don't feel left out - this review was actually written for you so that you'll know what perfume to buy your loved ones. After all, we girlies have no qualms about heading into Boots or Superdrug and having a quick skoosh but i
t's all the more difficult for you guys, eh? ;0)

Thanks for reading and grrrrrrrrrrrrrr about the capital letters going AWOL :0(

I would also love the Armani suit to match. I defy anyone to not look drop dead gorgeous in one.
