Advantages: Quite a nice warm pleasant scent.

Disadvantages: It's quite strong and reminds me of my landlady.

What is it?
********
A perfume called Intuition by Estee Lauder.

Special Features?

Claims to be a refreshing, oriental, floral fragrance. A blend of a citrus and floral scent, with hints of sweet woods and vanilla.

What do I think of it?
****************
I'm not sure about 'refreshing' but I personally don't feel about it this way. I found this perfume very strong and immediately, it reminded me of a perfume that is probably more suited for older women. I think it may be down to the fact my landlady ( in her 60s) who used to wear this. Subconsciously, this perfume immediately reminded me of her!

The perfume smells very dense, heavy or to put it more nicely, a bit rich on the senses. It is actually quite a nice scent, I am thinking the Eau de toiletter would smell a lot more refreshing.

My first impression of this scent is vanilla. And much of the aroma is taken up the the vanilla but also with some hints of wood. Unfortunately, I didn't really feel any of the citrus or floral tones. This is a very sweet perfume, almost like a very rich chocolate cake.

The effects of this lasts for a good several hours and I am very glad that I don't own this. My friend has this and she thought that I smelt a bit funny that evening when we were just about to go out and thoughtfully sprayed a bit of this on me. Mmmm, well, it was better than smelling a bit, uh, 'funny' I guess.

I am also inclined to think that I am allergic to this as I kept sneezing the whole evening. Either it was due to its strong aroma that was too much for my nose, or else, I am also guessing that it might be some of the pollen traces from the woods and flower extracts that it contains...?

The perfume costs around £23.50 for a 30ml bottle of the concentrated perfume version. It was the EDP that I had on all night and it does certainly last. A little bit on the expensive side I think, but a little of this does go a long way, so 30ml would last almost forever as it's so strong.

Not really to my taste at the moment, but perhaps I'll end up buying this when I'm 10 years older...

Thanks for reading. xx
