If you were given a bottle of this I can gurantee that your reaction would be the same as mine when I received this. Although not a person to pass up on gifts and of course I was very appreciative that someone had brought me this as a present I was very dubious because it just didn't seem very exciting. The shape, colour and name did not really inspire me and after trying it my suspicions were confirmed. Put simply it is just ok.
You can buy the bottle in a variety of sizes but there is not a spray function on the one I had. This makes it less functional. A 100ml bottle of this will set you back £39.99. This is quite expensive especially for what you are buying which is an average after shave.
On the plus side of the fragrance it does smell manly and does have quite a strong scent. There are quite a few eau de colognes out there that are just a bit too sweet and so this would be perfect for you if you enjoy a bold aroma. It is a type of musky and wooden type smell that you can imagine cutting bark upto in a forest. The problem I have with it though is that the musky scent is just far too dominate and after a few times of using it you will find yourself comparing it to talcum powder. Now this is quite pleasent however it certainly is not the image you want to be portraying to someone on a night out. It just does not live upto the expectatons of a £40 price tag. You will find it at many major retail outlets such as Debenhams or John Lewis as well as Estee Lauder online.
If you do want to try it then I would suggest that you get somebody else to buy it for you as I think its just way too much to spend on an item that you will not get compliments for and mean you end up smelling like you have just come out of the bath.
