Estée Lauder: White Linen, Eau de Parfum

White Linen is my all-time favourite - despite the fact that (almost) everyone I have ever told this to has said -'Isn't that a bit of an old woman's perfume, a bit old fashioned ? Well, the packaging might be a bit stiad and the imagery might be a bit flat and unexciting, but it's still my bestest-mostest All I have to offer is how much I adore the not-too-sweet crispy clean lineny effect of this fragrance. One of my favourite colours is white and so it would be hard for me not to try using Estee Lauder's White Linen perfume, especially when I do actually wear a lot of white linen shirts to work. Anyway, what I like about this scent is the clean crisp smell that you would expect from a perfume such named. Personally though I would prefer it if they played down the smell slightly and made it slightly lighter, closer to the clean smell of freshly laundered sheets. I have been using white linen for many many years now, and a few years ago my daughter stole some off me when her perfume ran out. And since that day she has never turned back. I just love the clean fresh scent that lingers all day without being heavy at all. CLEAN AND FRESH It’s really hard to describe perfume. What does it smell of and why do you like it. Well to me White Linen is a summer perfume, light and with a very crisp smell about it. But I suppose it would smell different on other people and I think it reminds people of different things. My hairdresser always remarks when I wear it, he says it reminds him of his wife.
