Estée Lauder: Beyond Paradise, Eau de Parfum ... will either love this perfume or absolutely hate it, it all depends on your own taste. The scent is optimistic and summery and therefore perfect for everyday use as well as a night out on the town. It is much more sophisticated than most floral fragrances and on a cold, grey day it can pick your mood right up. Estée Lauder: Pleasures, Eau de Parfum ... ago I decided I just couldn t stand Estee Lauder perfumes, this was because a woman I worked with drenched herself in Youth Dew. Having to work alongside her all day was horrid!!! The smell was overpowering and sickly, but she thought it was "the best" because it was by Estee Lauder. I knew someone who worked on the perfume counter of a posh store and she told me that Youth Dew was what the local prostitutes wore! That really made me even more certain that I hated Estee Lauder perfumes. (It also upset my colleague when I told her!!!!) So what happened to change my mind about Estee Lauder perfumes? Estée Lauder: Pleasures Exotic, Eau de Parfum ... Maybe I am not a summer person, well I suspected this anyway, but this only confirmed my suspicions. No doubt part of the problem was I was looking for cheap, I did not want to spend £50+ on something I wasn t sure I would like in a few months time. I wandered over from the Guerlain to the Givenchy, slowly getting wooed back by the expensive but at least inoffensive scents. Finally I came upon Estee Lauder, that old classic. I trusted Ms. Lauder, having worn Pleasures quite happily a few years ago. I knew if nothing else I would not come away smelling like a slapper, this was a place of class and refinement.
