- A fragrance by fashion house Fendi, for around £40 for 50ml. (Production of the scent has now ended)
The bottle is definitely my favourite of all my perfumes on my dresser top. It is a rectangular glass bottle with a black outline and gold etchings of the Fendi headquarters on the back. It is a spray top and has a glass cap to top it off, it catches the light well and looks very classy.
Palazzo is quite a strong scent, floral but with a spicy undertone to it. It has hints of orange, patchouli and bergamot. I only ever wear it in the evening as I think it's far too strong for the daytime. I would describe it as a warm, sexy scent.
It lasts for a long time, and I actually prefer the scent after wearing it for a few hours, as the patchouli scent really comes through.
The best thing for me is that it provides a gorgeous evening scent that is a little more unusual than signature evening scents such as Chanel No. 5.
The biggest problem is that if you spray to much it is just too overpowering. I went out with dinner with a friend wearing this and she said she couldn't taste her food as all she could smell was my perfume! The problem is that the pump spray always gives an overly generous portion of perfume, so I would recommend not spraying it directly onto the skin.
One day last year me and my friend were very bored and were out in town and decided to go to Boots and try all the perfumes the store had! This not only successfully wasted some time but we also came to the same conclusion that this was our favourite!
I had never even heard of Fendi Palazzo before this day and probably would never have tried it under any other circumstances due to all the other big name perfumes that are heavily advertised. But now this is definitely my fragrance of choice!
The perfume has quite a unique smell that I wouldn't really consider to be a girly smell but is more edgey and sophisticated.
Silvia Fendi- the lady who helped create this wanted to make a fragrance that will attract attention and when a woman wearing it enters a room, everyone asks "Which perfume are you wearing?" Which it certainly does, I have been complemented on it on many occasions!
The bottle of the Fendi Pallazo is in a an elegant baroque style, as a symbol of the brand.
I would recommend that everyone goes to their nearest store at tries a bit of this perfume as it will definitely impress!
