“ Brand: Fendi / Type: Fragrance / Concentration: Eau de Cologne / Gender: for men „
I have had this aftershave passed onto me from a relative and have since conserved it as I think it has a lovely aroma perfect for more formal occasions. Everything about this aftershave from the bottle design to the fragrance makes it quite special and seems to match the appearance of a suited up gentleman. The bottle has currently undergone a slight re-design but the version I have, which is now fairly old is slightly different.
It has a marble effect on the top and bottom of the cuboid bottle, separated by two golden strips to the transparent glass central portion on which the Fendi Uomo logo lies. You can see the aftershave inside, which appears as a slightly golden colour to match the bottle nicely. The lid has a similar design with a marble effect on the front and back sides and a golden plaque to the left and right sides. The bottle is 50ml and can currently be purchased for around £45, which certainly isn't cheap! This aftershave having been released in 1988, has a very well established scent however and has kept going all this time, although it's increasingly unpopular today, which makes it more unique in a way.
The cap just twists and comes off the bottle easily to reveal a golden spray button. The spray function works really well to release an even and well spread layer of aftershave onto your skin. You can certainly smell that this aftershave is from 1988! I'm not saying it smells like it's gone off, but it has a very old-fashioned smell from that sort of era. It's quite musky and contains marjoram, lavender, coriander, also with jasmine, leather and musk. I'd rate the scent a 9/10 and would say it is fairly rich too.
This makes it long-lasting, which helps to make this a great aftershave. A couple to a few sprays will see it lasting you throughout the day. Although reasonably old and widely unavailable, if you can get your hands on this aftershave I'd certainly recommend giving it a go! You'd be unique wearing it and I think it smells fabulous and very warming.

I have had this aftershave for a long time and use it every now and then. It smells really nice and has a very strong scent, which will be predominant all day. It comes in a very posh looking container, which echoes the aroma of the aftershave. It smells like a very classical aftershave and seems to suit formal evenings very well. If I were visiting the Queen, I would definitely wear this aftershave!
It comes in a rather large 100ml bottle. The bottle has a marble effect above and below the transparent glass, which goes around the bottle as a strip. Above and below the glass are gold shiny strips and the Fendi Uomo logo lies on the glass. The aftershave has a very faint yellow colour, which blends nicely with the bottle.
The lid is quite large and sits on the bottle. It has the marble effect too but with shiny gold on either side. This overall look gives a very posh and smart impression. This is also evoked from the smell of the aftershave. Beneath the lid is a gold spray nozzle. It works very well and will spray out a good amount at an even layer. You don't need more than 2 sprays - 1 is even enough as this aftershave is very strong.
The only problem I find with this aftershave is that it's awkward to hold and spray with due to the bulkiness of the large rectangular bottle. It's not designed to be held easily so I wouldn't be surprised if it was dropped by accident. The lid smoothly fits back on and it can be stored away with the knowledge that it won't leak.
The smell is very classical as I say. It's also masculine too and very strong. It seems to make me think of expensive wooden furniture, as it has a woody aroma and portrays an image of a posh house.
The aftershave will stay on your skin all day long without wearing away. I have received only good comments, from girls too about this aftershave, so it seems to be liked. It will keep you smelling pleasant all day long and only a small amount is required so it will last you ages. You can buy a 100ml bottle for under £40.00. Depending on where you go, you may even find it for as little as £30.00.
You can also buy a 50ml one for under £22.00, which is the RRP. It's currently available on amazon.co.uk for just £19.75. It's a very attractive aftershave that does a good job as it doesn't get faint and die down throughout the day. I would recommend at least trying it next time you see it.

I have had this aftershave for a while, and it has to be one of my favourite, for it stays on my skin extremely well and gives off a lovely fragrance the whole day, without wearing off. It was originally launched in 1988 by Fendi, but has been re-launched. I must say, it has an old kind of smell to it, in the way it is very luxurious and unique.
It comes in an extremely stylish container that fits perfectly inside its box. The colour scheme is a grey, beige and gold one with a variety of different texture feels to it. It comes in a square box that has symmetrical stripes going down the front. At either end are grey stripes with a granite or marble effect with one in the middle. In between are beige stripes, which have a similar effect but more sandy. It is a very distinct and unique look that I have never really seen before, and I love it. In the middle stripe is the Fendi logo, with the Fendi Uomo title below, which is the name of this aftershave. It is an Eau De Toilette and comes in a 100ml container, although it seems a lot bigger, but this is just the design. The rest of the box is just grey in the same way as the stripes on the front, but these stripes are carried onto the top of the box on the flap, from which you open it. The back of the box states that it is Made in Italy, and also gives you the ingredients of the aftershave, which consists of alcohol, so is flammable.
Opening the box, the aftershave bottle fits very snug in there to avoid breakage. Pulling it out, you will find that it is surprisingly heavy, but don't get the idea that it's like lead, because it really isn't that bad; just heavier than you would expect. The container is extremely stylish, and perhaps one of the most unique ones I have seen. The bulk of it is in this marble grey texture, with curved edges - the bottle being square. Horizontally across the middle is a glass panel, where you can see through and see the aftershave in there. The glass has the Fendi Uomo logo once again on it in black writing. The glass stripe goes all the way round, and is bordered either side with shiny gold stripes. This brings an added lush look to it, which is carried on with the lid. The lid is quite big, and covers the nozzle well, preventing leakage. The lid has the same grey marble effect with gold stripes down the edge, perpendicular to those on the glass on the main body. The lid easily and smoothly slides off simply by lifting it off to reveal the expensive-looking nozzle that is coated in gold. This nozzle works very well at giving out an even and well spread burst of this intense aftershave.
The smell is just amazing - very unique and strong too. It is hard to explain, but it does just smell like an old aftershave, not surprising it was released in 1988 originally. When you first spray it, you are shocked literally by a burst of strong scents that fills the air. It smells like so many different flavours are in it, making it adventurous and lovely. The fragrance is rather dry with a woody and very lush smell. The scent is brought out by leather, oak, musk, pepper, citrus and sage. It is a very distinctive aftershave, smelling like no other. If you are walking around with this on, it makes you feel somewhat posh and proud. The smell is simply adorable and very masculine. The fragrance seems to glue to my skin and give off this lovely odour the whole day. When I get home from work, I can still smell the intense flavours of the aftershave, making it well-worth the buy.
The RRP of this product is in fact £41.00; however you can get it much cheaper in shops nowadays for around £20-30 depending on where you go. Possibly the duty free stores at airports are the best place to look for this one, as they normally offer aftershaves at good prices without tax. The price is pretty good for 100ml, and it is a very inimitable one of a kind.
I suggest that you at least try out this aftershave, if not buy it whilst you can. It is so unique to all other aftershaves, and gives off a lovely masculine and lush fragrance that lasts all day. The intensity of the flavours when you first spray it on are quite amazing. The aftershave comes in a well-designed box with a matching bottle that is also unique to any other aftershave I have seen. It is a very posh-looking aftershave, which is definitely emphasised by its masculine and luxurious smell.
