Ghost: Sweetheart, Eau de Toilette

I always request a new perfume when it comes to christmas and the Ghost range has to be my favrouite. The packaging This is a bright pink colour and is in a long box. It has a piece of cardboard inside that secures the bottle in place which is an ingenious ivention in my eyes. It comes wrapped in plastic that you have to undo so you know that it hasn't been tampered with. It has the description of the perfume and how much the bottle holds on the packaging. This is one of my favourite perfumes at the moment. Got this for my birthday from my friends and was a little apprehensive when I first saw it as I am not a huge fan of the Ghost perfumes. I find that some of them are a little overpowering and just too strong. However when I first tried this perfume, I thought it was quite pleasant. After wearing it a few times, it certianly grows on you and now I absolutely love it! I first tried this perfume as I wanted a fragrance which was light and fresh but not too citrus-y as I have found this scent turns sour after a while. I tried a number of perfumes before I found Ghost Sweetheart. It was quite different from what I would normally try as the packaging is very girly and feminine. The box is a soft pink colour and the perfume bottle is tall and slim, a light pinkish peach in colour with a frosted glass effect. This is definitely a perfume to avoid if you're not a fan of sickly sweet perfumes which I certainly am not. I was given two new fragrances for my last birthday, Ghost Sweetheart and Femme by Hugo Boss which I absolutely love. Sweetheart was far too sweet for me, I found it too strong and quite sickly. You certainly don't need much to stay smelling of it all day and night. I decided to try and wear it to work every day just to use it all up quickly! Ghost original is one of favourite perfumes, and I asked for it for Xmas. However, my darling boyfriend bought me the Sweetheart version. At first I was hoping he kept the receipt so I could exchange it, as I have never been a fan of any of the other Ghost fragrances. However, I decided to give it a try and now I love it.
