For christmas I was given a perfume gift set, which I had seen before in ‘boots’ the chemist. It contained 5 mini bottles of perfume. One of these bottles was the perfume Ghost. People had told me before that this is a lovely smelling fragrance but had never tried it for myself before, so now I could. I do like to try out different perfumes, but I don’t like heavy overpowering perfumes. Another thing I don’t like is that some people feel the need to cover themselves in cheap smelling perfume, then they usually try to sit next to me on the bus.

The bottle included in my gift set is a miniature version of the larger bottle that can be brought in chemists, perfume shops supermarkets and other places that sell perfumes.

It is an attractive frosted glass in a pale blue colour and it has a nicely curved shape to it. I was not sure how much a bottle of this perfume would be if I had brought some myself so I went to the boots website where they are selling a 100ml bottle for £41 and a 50ml bottle for £28. The ghost fragrance is also available in a shower and body lotion gift set for £13.50. I thought this was rather expensive and before trying it I don‘t think I would pay that much for this bottle of perfume, so what does it actually smell like. The boots website describes it as a mellow hibiscus rose petals and musk characterise ghost- the first fragrance from the designer label. Subtly combined jasmine, spicy sandalwood and warm incense dominate the gentleness, whilst the overtones of vanilla, musk, ambergris and apricot provide a satiny quality to the perfume.

I find it hard to describe how it smell to me but I would say that this is a soft scented perfume, and it has a sort of sweet summery smell to it. I would also say that this perfume would be suitable to wear any day, whether you are working or going out with friends. Some perfumes I have tried before have an over powering smell but this is only subtle. S
uitable for all occasions.

I put some of my ghost perfume on before going out and the scent lasted until I returned home about six hours later so the scent does last well on your skin.

These miniature bottles of perfume are a great idea if you do not want to go out and purchase an expensive bottle before having tried it out first. But now that I have tried the Ghost perfume, I would be prepared to spend money buying a larger bottle of this perfume because I really did like it. I would also recommend this perfume to friends.
