Advantages: Long lasting fragrance.

Disadvantages: Plastic lid.

I received Amarige as a gift although I had smelt it before and knew that I would like it. The scent is quite heavy with floral tones and therefore suits a more mature woman.
It is quite strong but not overpowering and because of this you only need a small amount which lingers throughout the day. Therefore this makes it good value for money even though the 50ml bottle does retail at over £40.00, but you can expect to pay this for such a well known and reknowned designer fragrance. The bottle is 'chubby' and easy to hold, and the stopper is an unusual shape, although it is made of plastic, and as it is not a cheap perfume I was quite surprised by this fact.
To sum up, this would make a very good gift for the more mature woman who likes her fragrances slightly heavy with woody, floral notes.
