Givenchy: Very Irresistible Givenchy, Eau de Toilette

i have just had a baby, and when i was pregnant i found that my sense of smell became really sensitive. partly because of this, i went a bit mad buying different fragrances, especially just after christmas in the sales. One of the things i bought was the boots sampler gift set, and this was one of the fragrances in it. i had never heard of it before, so was dubious wether i would like it or not, but it was definately one of my favourites. i dont like scents that are sickly sweet, or smell like my nan-i like the more sophisticated scents, that make you feel good when you wear them. I went on holiday to the Canary Islands last August and because of the terror threat and the imposed restrictions I was unable to buy too many perfumes outbound. On the plane I was looking through the holiday company duty free brochure and came across this perfume and because the bottle look good and the air stewardess recommended it, I decided to buy a bottle and I was not disappointed, this is a very light, floral summer fragrance. I'd first became aware of this perfume when I saw the advert on television, (I distinctly remember the lady saying 'Very irresistible by Givenchy' in a French accent.) I first came into contact with it when I received a free sample bottle of the stuff (in a very cute miniature replica bottle of the real bottle) around a year ago, and I thought it smelt beautiful, a sort of light floral scent which I think is light enough for day wear but also rich enough for evening wear.
