Advantages: Light and refreshing smell, very attractive coloured bottle

Disadvantages: Doesn't last a long as some others

My boyfriend surprised me the other day by buying me another perfume as a little present. I'm addicted to perfume and there is always a new one that I want. The newest one added to my collection is Gucci Envy Me.

Packaging
This perfume comes in a very classy looking box which is white with the Gucci logo embossed all over the box in pink writing.. Gucci Envy Me is written across the front of the box in silver writing and the 'Me' of the title is written in pink!
The bottle itself has the same sort of colour scheme at the box, the bottle has the same pattern as the box, with the Gucci logo printed all over it in pink but the glass is frosted so you can still actually see how much perfume you have left which I find very useful. The lid for bottle is a white and has Gucci Envy Me written on in. The bottle is very tall and square shaped.

Price
Seeing as this was bought as a present for me, I had to do a bit of research to get the prices and I found that this perfume costs £16.44 for a 30ml bottle and £23.30 for 50ml. These prices I found on the website www.chepsmells.com.

What Does It Smell Like?
This perfume is very light and would be perfect to wear on a nice summers day, the scent has a very fresh and clean smell to it (but not in a clinical way) which means that the perfume is very refreshing.
The ingredients of the perfume include top notes on pink peony, water jasmine and pink pepper which is then blended with lychee, pomegranate, pineapple, pink musk, seringa and white tea. I would descrive this perfume as quite fruity which would make sense considering half the ingredients.

Does The Smell Last?
To be honest, the perfume does not last as long as some of the others in my collection. Towards the end of the day, you can still smell it on yourself but it is quite faint compared to what it smells like when you first put it on. I think this is probably due to the fact that the perfume is designed to be light and refreshing. I always find that the heavier perfumes have better staying power but this perfume smells so nice that you can definitely forgive the fact that the smell doesn't last as long as some of the others on the market.

Range
Gucci actually have a fairly wide range or perfumes. To name a few: Gucci Rush, Gucci Rush 2, Gucci Envy, Gucci Envy Me 2 and Gucci Woman.

Summary
I would definitely recommend this perfume. The smell is so light and refreshing and certainly makes you feel very feminine. This isn't a perfume for woman who don't like the sweet and girlie perfumes - don't get me wrong, this perfume is not sickly sweet but is definitely a more girlie one than some of my others.
The downside to this is that that smell doesn't last as long as I would like, meaning that I often have to use more and maybe reapply it if I am going on a night out. This perfume would be suitable to wear for any occasion.

Summary: A girlie perfume that is perfect for any occasion.
