Advantages: Lovely deep smell that lasts all day and isn't too young smelling

Disadvantages: Box isn't that great but who cares

I have been wearing Gucci Rush ever since it first came out. I am a fan of how unique and nice this smells and I doubt I will ever wear anything else. I have flitted between Gucci Rush 2 and a couple of the other Gucci fragrances but always end up returning to this (the original and the best) and haven't tried anything else in years.

Gucci Rush describes itself as smelling rather spicy and exotic. For me personally it has a very distinct smell - people always notice I'm wearing it. Its not a very girly smell its more of a womanly, musky scent in my opinion, but without smelling like it should only be for the woman over 50 for example. It's suitable for a wide age range but isn't too 'young smelling' I don't think I want to smell like a teenager anymore! I don't particularly like the smell of flowers so this is a perfect perfume for me. The smell lasts quite a long time with just a few squirts. I always tend to spray twice a day but that's because I can't smell it anymore. Other people can still smell it all day long. So really you only need to use it once a day. And its suitable for wearing during the day or during the evening.

The packaging is quite unique in itself. It comes in a rectangular red plastic dispenser. Although its not very pretty it is unique and instantly recognisable as Gucci Rush which I am sure was Gucci's intent. It is a big bulky for carrying around sometimes though - unless you're like me with a super big bag! The plastic box also comes in a red cardboard sleeve.

The price varies from place to place - I usually buy mine in Duty Free but somewhere on the high street you can expect to pay in the region of £30 up to £45 depending on the size. I usually opt for the 50ml bottle. The pricing is quite reasonable I think considering it's a designer make.
