Guerlain appeals to the mass market (Guerlain: Insolence, Eau de Toilette)
Member Name: zwl20
Advantages: Pleasant floral, good lasting power Disadvantages: No distinctive character
I suppose this perfume is best described as Guerlain's attempt to appeal to the younger market. The legendary perfume house is not short of classics on its books, and in recent years has put out a range of perfumes based on single notes (aqua allegoria series). Yet it has a glaring hole where there should be something to appeal to the young twenty somethings who would not be seen dead wearing something their mums had in their day. Insolence is the peg to fit this particular hole. Summary: Despite its name, insolence is very much middle of the road |
