I bought a selection of mini perfumes from Boots as a treat for myself - it was reduced to £8 and contained five fragrances so I thought that was pretty good value, and I really enjoy trying new perfumes. I had previously seen an advert for Guerlain Insolence. What struck me about that was that I really didn't like the name; insolence is ... Read the complete review

I came across Insolence by Guerlain from a sponsorship advert on ITV, the advert was on before after the show and twice during each set of advert breaks on each hour long episode of the programme series. After being brainwashed I thought I have to know what this fragrance smells like. I went off in search and found it in The Fragrance Shop. I got ... Read the complete review

Oh I love this perfume, it is my favourite and whenever I where it someone will always comment on how wonderful I smell. To prove this I was on my way to a makeup show with my Mum and Nan in the car on the way there we were all arguing over who was wearing the best fragrance. At the show a famous Lancôme makeup Artist was applying some ... Read the complete review

I can honestly say I have never before purchased a Guerlain perfume until I smelled Insolence. They've never appealed to me, perhaps because both my elderly aunt and grandmother were both big fans and their scent, although memorable for me from childhood, was not one I wanted to replicate on myself. Come Christmas 2007 and I am in ... Read the complete review

The first time I smelt Insolence was on a woman getting on the bus ahead of me. I had to hold myself by the scruff of my neck to stop myself from stalking her to her seat just to soak up the smell. I have a slight addiction to rose and evidently now it seemed violet. Only one other fragrance has had such a compelling effect and that was Lolita ... Read the complete review

Wow what can I say?! This is my all time favorite perfume! I smelt it on a friend and borrowed it on a night out. I woke up in the morning and I still could smell the sweet aroma of this fabulous perfume! The scent reminds me of those Parma Violet sweets you used to get at school, combined with a dark sexy smell. It's quite an unusual ... Read the complete review

I suppose this perfume is best described as Guerlain's attempt to appeal to the younger market. The legendary perfume house is not short of classics on its books, and in recent years has put out a range of perfumes based on single notes (aqua allegoria series). Yet it has a glaring hole where there should be something to appeal to the young twenty ... Read the complete review

This is one of the newer fragrances from Guerlain, which is the oldest Fragrance house in the world.Insolence is quite overpowering and strong when you first apply it.This is probably due to you smelling the alcohol at first, but once it has dried its actually very nice. Its very floral and heavy with a fruity side to it too.It is a quite unusual ... I asked for insolence by Guerlian for Christmas, after trying some on in Boots. I don't usually wear perfume, but I was impressed with the dark, sexy smell of this, which is very different to the sweet, synthetic smell of many perfumes. The perfume according to Guerlian: Guerlian state the 'concept' for this perfume as being 'Free, ... Read the complete review

I bought this after smelling a tester in a magazine. I loved it because my mum used to wear Poison by Dior and it kind of reminded me of that from when I was little. From what I got from the Insolence website it contains violet, iris and red berries. But what really stands out from this perfume is the violets, it is like spraying yourself with a ...
