... first time I smelt Insolence was on a woman getting on the bus ahead of me. I had to hold myself by the scruff of my neck to stop myself from stalking her to her seat just to soak up the smell. I have a slight addiction to rose and evidently now it seemed violet. Only one other fragrance has had such a compelling effect and that was Lolita Lempicka with its aniseed tones. Guerlain: Samsara, Eau de Toilette ... is made by French perfumier Guerlain. It is not a new modern , or trendy type of fragrance and would not be suitable for the latest unisex ranges. It is a very feminine fragrance and one that is like no other. Its aroma is quite distinctive. It comes in a perfume and in an eau de toilette. The eau de toilette is lighter and less expensive than the perfume. This fragrance was first designed in 1989 and it was aimed at the kind of woman is happy inside her own skin, sexy and seductive, without being too obvious. Guerlain: Insolence, Eau de Toilette ... last for ages. I sprayed one of my jackets a while ago and I can still smell the perfume! Insolence costs between £27 and £44 depending on the size of the bottle and where you buy it from. For some reason I ve had trouble finding this perfume lately in shops, but I always find it at airports in the duty free section - bonus! The bottle is a round shape with quite a chunky bottle top. I do find this slightly bulky so normally throw the lid away. The perfume itself is a light pink colour. One tip I recommend is before a night out I use one spray on the end of my hair, so if someone is talking to me they will smell it! I definitely recommend Insolence by Guerlain!... Guerlain: Shalimar, Eau de Toilette ... has heard of brands like Estee Lauder and Lancôme, but it still seems that many people I know have never heard of of the brand "Guerlain". Guerlain is actually one of the worlds oldest perfume houses, and one of my favourite perfumes is a fragrance of theirs called Shalimar. This was actually first launched in 1925, which was almost fifty years before I was even born, but is has stood the test of time because it is what could be regarded as a "classic".
