Advantages: really cute bottle

Disadvantages: smells just like a pineappletini

I adore anything to do with the Japanese Harajuku style, so of course I couldn't wait to buy all five of these Gwen Stefani fragrances when they came out in Spring.

I bought them in Superdrug, they had a display by the cash register with sample bottles to try and I should have tried before I bought. I was so smitten with the look of the bottles I wasn't even really thinking about the perfumes! They cost £19.99 each, but you can buy smaller cheaper versions now too. When I bought mine, they were also giving away free charm bracelets with every purchase. This is just a metal chain bracelet with the heads of each Harajuku Lovers character attached. Its cute but just for children really.

I love the look of Lil' Angel (she has a little school uniform outfit with a yellow scarf tied round her braided, and star-dotted hair), but I was disappointed with the scent.

It is described as a citrus floral with notes of pineapple, candied violet, and lollipop accord(whatever that may be!), raspberry,cranberry, blackberry, pear blossom, rose, hinoki wood and crystal amber.

That sounds lovely on paper, but if I had actually tried the perfume in the shop before buying I would not have bought it. The fragrance is strongly reminiscent of a boozy pineapple drink. I like boozy pineapple drinks, but only to drink! I don't want to smell like I have been sitting in a cocktail bar all day. I can't detect any of the other notes mentioned, to me it is overwhelmingly pineapple.

Well, at least I can console myself with the fact that the bottle looks nice on my dressing table with the others!
