Advantages: Lovely scent, pretty doll figure

Disadvantages: May look out of placve in an older ladie's room

I've never been overly girly, but just recently I've had the urge to invest in a perfume, not really because I'm bothered about catching anyone's attention in particular, but mainly for my own little burst of self esteem when I start the day.

So I wasn't really shopping for perfume when I came across this in my local Debenhams, and it immediately caught my eye. The bottle comes with a cute little doll as the lid, depending on the perfume you get you get a different character. The boxes themselves are beautiful, glossy black w ith oriental patterning and stark yellow text, the accent colour for the 'lil' angel' character, a theme carried out in the dolls little uniform inside.

The doll does look rather sweet, transforming what could be a rather bog standard bottle into a little accessory that sits nicely on a shelf next to other ornaments. But, although it's a unique little extra, don't be fooled into thinking that the large box size to accommodate the doll means you'll be getting a large bottle of perfume, the biggest size on sale that I got was still only 30mls of actual perfume itself.

Still, the perfume is amazing. It has a light, citrus and floral scent that's not too heavy to wear in the day time, and last all day if you spray it on the key pressure points. It's nice and summery, perfect for when the weather's getting warmer and you need to start slipping on dresses, this is the sort of fragrance that implies a delicate femininity that most cheaper body sprays just can't capture.

At nearly 20 quid for a bottle its not bad value considering how much more luxury brands would charge, plus the fact that the little doll will stick around as a decoration long after the perfume has run out adds a little more value for money. I can see myself wearing this all summer long.

Summary: Definately worth buying, lovely lovely smell.
