This is a review of Lil' Angel perfume from Gwen Stefani's 2008 Harajuku lovers range.

I must admit, I felt a bit like this was a perfume range for little girls due to the packaging of it but at the same time, it is totally adorable.

I spent ages trying to decide which was my favourite before taking the plunge for the yellow one called Lil' Angel. I got the 10ml bottle (it is tiny) and paid approximately £14 for it at Superdrug.

The main part of the bottle is a plastic doll which forms the lid. You pull this off to reveal the spray.

I think it smells gorgeous, with hints of of raspberry, cranberry, black currant, and pineapple. I'm told it also has candied violet, pear blossom, and sugared rose, while the base introduces lollipop aroma, Hinoki wood and crystal amber.

Some people find it a bit sickly (as could be said of all the range I think). I wouldn't wear a lot of it in one go, but I also think it wears off pretty quickly so it's not a long lasting perfume.

I am just coming to the end of the bottle (and it's hard getting the last few sprays out but I won't give up!) so would I buy it again? Probably not, although I might have a free spritz of it as I'm passing in a department store. It was a nice change but I wouldn't say I can't live without it.

On reflection, this may be more of a summer fragrance so maybe I will drift back to it next year some time.
