Advantages: Long lasting, pretty fragrance and it's very unusual

Disadvantages: A bit young in my view for over 30's to wear

When it comes to perfumes and the buying of them I just love it. What's more is because I love to shop I'm aware of prices of things and I remember almost buying this fragrance way back when it was on offer in my local Boots store for £20.00. I remember thinking what a great price that was at the time and how much I liked the bottle and fragrance but also remember having a sensible I don't need it moment and I seriously at the time didn't need to spend 20 quid!

However it sticks in my mind as something that happened so when I saw this same bottle in the same size turn up in my local T.J Hughes store for a tenner it was a no brainer and buy it I did...I'd waited long enough and was delighted with my purchase babbling on to the sales assistant about what an amazing purchase it was and trying to tell her my little story when you could read her mind thinking will this bird shut up I want to go home lol.

The Packaging:

My 50ml bottle was presented in a yellow and black square box. On the front in gold and white writing Im told it is 'L' LA.M.B Fragrance, Gwen Stefani and that it is Eau De Parfum Spray and the size is stated. On the back of the box ingredients are listed and contact details for Coty Prestige are given (the manufacturer of the product). Open the box open via the flip top opening to the top of it and the inside of the box is black and white striped and your met with your bottle of perfume. The bottle itself is orange, green and yellow and sort of mingled coloured. It sprays out via a little gold push button sprayer with L engraved into it and on the front of the bottle L is engraved into it again. The pull on/off lid is also square and is bigger than the bottle and slides over the top. It's a bit of a pain to pull on and off but looks very nice when on the bottle with again an L engraved into it and it's an unusual looking and modern in design.

The Fragrance Itself:

Well as far as I can make out this was Gwen's debut perfume offering, before that of the Harajuku lover collection. If your a fan of the Japanese inspired Harajuku lover perfumes then I think it's a very safe bet to assume you would like this cos to me this smells like all of those perfumes (Love, Angel, Music and Baby) all well blended together and this obviously was the inspiration for those offerings.

This in my opinion is a floral and more day time sort of perfume. Of course you can wear it whenever you want to and although it's delicately fragranced it still is a potent and hefty smelling perfume that stays on the skin for a very long time. It sort of brings masculine and feminine together though it is a woman's perfume and I can't imagine a man wanted to wear this lol.

The notes in this are a blend of leafy water hyacinth, violet leaves, fresh pear, white freesia. Heart notes of rose, jasmine petals, sweat pea, orange blossom, hellotrope flower, peach skin and musk.

To me this floral blend smells of all the above ingredients and it's a bit of a Kameleon of a scent. Sometimes to me it leans more towards being a rose scent, other times jasmine and so on and so forth. I can always smell a hint of peach wafting over it and then it's grounded slightly by a gentle musk.

Wonderfully but naturally sweet this is a very interesting blend and not like anything I can compare it to on the market, it is rather unique. For me though it's a younger scent, incredibly fresh and clean smelling it lacks a little sophistication I require from my perfumes but still I'm pleased I bought this as a couple of squirts fragrance me up for hours and it's worked out a very good buy and people are always asking me what I'm wearing when I'm sporting this aroma.

This is available to purchase in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml sizes and it can be found online for bargain prices at the moment but I have seen this in Superdrug, Boots and Theperfumeshop and prices vary considerably. I would say expect to pay around £23.00 for the 30ml, £30.00 for the 50ml and about £40.00 for the 100ml give or take a few quid but like I say do investigate this perfume online first if possible to get the best possible price!

Summary: A nice fresh scent....this is!
