Nothing special... a blend of all things Boss. (Hugo Boss: Boss Bottled, Eau de Toilette)

Advantages: Attractive bottle.

Disadvantages: A mix between a cheap Diesel and typical Hugo Boss fragrance. An annoying spray button.

Unfortunately, I only got this fragrance about a month ago, and I'm already starting to neglect it. Maybe it's the weakness of it's smell, or that it reminds me of a cheap Diesel perfume, but this one just doesn't make the cut for me. I'm quite hard to please, and even when I actually quite liked this product and decided to buy it, it wasn't a clear cut decision; either this or Joop's Jump, I wish I'd gone with Joop.

Whereas other fragrances I've had, have still caught my nose later in the day when a small burst of smell passes my nose to remind me that I am wearing such a good Eau de Toilette, this one never gets that far. What I usually expect to spray is just a few squeezes of the cap, all good Eau de Toilette's shouldn't need a huge amount, yet it seems this one does; I end up having to re-spray, or spray more if I want it to last beyond lunch. Strange enough as it sounds, it's almost like this oder is absorbed into my skin, so the smell just disappears. As far as it's smell, there's nothing really special here; a blend between a cheap Diesel, and typical Hugo Boss fragrance, which doesn't make for the best of mixes. Not as sweet as others I've had, which makes a change, but it's still nothing special.

As far as the bottle, it's got that annoying small spray button, you know, those ones that are prone to breaking before the bottle is even finished. The bottle itself is actually quite attractive, and quite manly, but really, if this is all that it can offer, it's not worth the price tag. Credit, where credit is due, this does come in slightly cheaper than more other products, but maybe these flaws are the reasons why... it's like the creators at Hugo Boss, got sloppy, and made a quick blend without much thought.

Yes, some guys love this product, but for me it isn't one I'll be buying again.

Summary: Try something else, this isn't anything special.
