I first tried this aftershave when my mate ordered the 'bottled edition' samples off the internet. I was really impressed by the quality of the smell, and of it's partner the 'day edition'. The only aftershave I had at the time was Diesel Only the Brave so i bought the 100 ml Hugo Boss Night for, well, night time and special occasions.
SIZES & PRICE
There a four quantities it comes in: 30 ml, 50 ml, 75 ml and 100 ml. I wouldn't recommend buying it in store as everywhere i have been is too expensive, just look at Superdrug - it's £38.50 for 50 ml. I went to the perfume shop in Blackpool and they wanted £39.99, not a chance! Amazon seems cheap enough, you can get the 50 ml bottle here for £26.41 with Free delivery, or it's £36.93 for the big boys 100 ml bottle.
PACKAGING & BOTTLE
Like all aftershaves, the retailers try and make the appearance of the aftershave eye-catching so more people buy it. I have to say this one did stand out on the shelf. It comes in a tall rectangular box with a black and blue background, the word's BOSS HUGO BOSS are in silver writing. Everyone loves a smart looking aftershave to add to their growing collection, and this one is definitely worth putting at the front. The bottle is dark blue and you can't see through it, the bad thing about this is i can't tell when it's running out.
For the price you pay, Hugo Boss Night delivers a sensational smell! It's kind of like a seductive fragrance that will help you conquer the night. I'm not saying women will just fall at your feet, but if you play your cards right this aftershave might just help seal the deal. Don't over use it like i did, a few sprays will set you off for the night, but as the price isn't too dear, you could give your self a good covering if you wanted to. I feel much more confident wearing this aftershave as i know i won't get any complaints, the smell isn't too overpowering that people around you start choking. I don't know why but i feel like a man who is successful when i wear it, it just gives me the feel of wearing a really expensive aftershave that you get as a wedding present.
Overall, i'd definitely recommend this aftershave as it has the smell of a really expensive aftershave.
I received this mens fragrance for my Christmas present last year, brilliant product. It does actually have a scent that feels like its for the night. It smells spicy but not too spicy with hints of lavender and birch tree, it also does not smell sweet so it is made for a masculine people, the price is also very reasonable starting at around £30 for 100ml. I have been a hugo fragrance fan for more than 5 years now, trying most of their masculine fragrances from hugo boss energise to hugo just different and this has got to be one of the best. It certainly differs from hugo boss bottled (the original) and to be honest I prefer the newer boss bottled night. Give it a go, if you are a fan of any other boss fragrances then why not. Go in to your local superdrugs or boots and try a tester bottle out to see if it suits you. The smell is like a hot summers night and the bottle also has been made into a night version with dark blue at the bottom and slowly it fades into black. The strong alcohol takes a few seconds to ware off but once its gone it leaves you feeling ready for the night and seductive. The scent lasts a few hours, more if you hydrate your skin before applying with a scentless moisturizer. If bought as part of a gift set then you will also get an awesome smelling shower gel with it.
I always used to wear Boss: Soul, but since trying this, I've been converted. It's a deep and subtle scent which, like most Hugo Boss scents, focuses more on deep complex base notes rather than floral top notes.
Relatively good value more money, as a prestige product retailing at circa forty pounds for 100ml. Competitor brands can come in around sixty, and with this product a little goes a long way.
Not overly strong smelling, you need to be pretty close to the wearer to catch it. It lingers for quite a time on the skin, so reapplication is not necessary: once or twice per day is more than enough.
I manage a busy restaurant so the smell of food lingers, but this manages to cut through so that I'm always smelling good even after a 12 hours shift. It's generally well received. I prefer this to the other Boss aftershave products, and have now bought my 2nd bottle!
I received the Hugo Boss Night fragrance for the first time back in April for my birthday, as a present off my mum and dad, and as a present off my wife! Luckily for me I really like the scent and so it was a good twist of fate that I got 2 identical bottles on the same day!
'Hugo Boss Night' comes in a stylish rectangular cardboard box coloured in dark blue and silver which fits into the 'night' theme very well. Inside the box is a very dusky looking dark blue glass bottle, with a black plastic lid, which again fits into the 'night' theme nicely.
After removing the plastic cap, a similarly coloured squirting mechanism is revealed, and with a few presses on the top of the mechanism, the scent is finally revealed.
I really love the smell of this fragrance, it subtly combines a nice wood smell, with a hint of duskness, and after smelling it, it is little wonder that they decided to name it 'Night'.
It has top notes of Birch leaf, which are very noticeable, and heart notes of Cardamom. The base notes are Louro Amarelo wood, and Musky notes. This blend gives a very light and airy woody scent off, which although it is based around the night theme, I consider it to be perfectly suitable for almost any time of day or night, and ideal in both hot and cold environments.
The 2 bottles that I received were the 30 ml EDT, but it is also available in 50 ml bottles too.
It is available from the usual stores such a Boots, Superdrug, Bodystore, or Debenhams, priced at around £20 - £25 for the 30 ml bottle, and around £30 - £35 for the 50 ml bottle.
The scent is very subtle at first, and so I often find that I spray a lot of it onto me, but then realise after a few minutes that I could have easily applied a little less, as the scent finally comes through.
I wouldn't consider this to be a particularly long lasting scent, but it does serve its purpose for the average night out, but is not one that will linger on your clothing for a few days.
Thanks for reading.

I received a bottle of Hugo Boss Bottled Night for my birthday last year. I have always loved this perfume ever since the first spray. The product comes packaged in an attractive blue and silver box and the 30ml bottle which I have is a very dark blue colour.
One thing that is great about this perfume is that it can be carried in a liquids bag on the plane as it is way under 100ml. Like most perfume bottles the product is easy to apply using the spray button on the top of the bottle.
~ Scent ~
This has to be one of the only perfumes that I have tried which do not get on my nerves after a few hours. The perfume doesn't have too much of an acidic scent like some other perfumes I have tried. I would say that the scent is extremely masculine with a rich woody/cardamom smell. I also think that it's quite an exotic smell which should suit a lot of people. The perfume is very high quality and I can often still smell it on clothes the day after - This doesn't mean that it is overpowering in any way though.
~ Conclusion ~
Perfume shopping can always be extremely challenging so I recommend that you try a tester of this perfume first. I really do think however, that this perfume would suit a very wide audience because of its subtle yet attractive tones.
