Advantages: Great smell, versatility, long lasting

Disadvantages: Strange bottle

With so many fragrances out there some of the more unusual shaped bottles can lose ground to other more normal looking bottles of fragrances. One such fragrance that has bucked that trend is Boss in Motion by Hugo Boss It was released in 2002. The only others that look similar that I can think of are from the likes of DKNY and Bvlgari.

As you can see from the bottle it is a round design whereas most bottles are upright It also has a rather different spray design than the normal eau de toilette bottles. This design means that it can take a few seconds longer to get enough spray out. I prefer the normal style of bottle but this doesnt really affect the outcome.

The smell is really quite lovely and is a spicy woody fragrance which also has a sweet smell. There's hints of Bergamot Oil, Basil Flower Violet Leaves Pink Pepper and Cinnamon. These blend together to create a rather lovely smell indeed. It has Top Notes of Bergamot, Violet Leaves, Living Basil Flower. Mid notes of Cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, pink pepper. and
Base notes of Sandalwood, vetiver and musk

It's a very sensual fragrance that is great for many occasions but is best for Night and Evening wear. Wear this when you go out with mates and they should be very impressed with your taste in fragrances. But again with a quality fragrance it is fine with daywear and many different situations. This fragrance has good staying power which is vital for a fragrance of it's kind.

You can typically buy a bottle of Boss in Motion for anything between £20 and £40 but shop around online and you will find some great deals from online retailers like strawberrynet and fragrancedirect. As usual there are other products in the range and these include aftershave, shower gel and deodorant.

Overall I am very attracted to this fragrance and it is on my checklist for my next fragrance when my bottle of Giorgio Armani's Acqua Di Gio Eau de toilette runs out in a few weeks or so. A highly recommended fragrance for men who like a versatile fresh fragrance that will last a long time.
