Hugo Boss: Energise, Eau de Toilette

I have to confess I am very hard to please when it comes to fragrances. I spend ages in the shop scouting round the testers and spraying them on those tiny pieces of test paper, and finally, after a long search I stopped at this; Hug Boss' Energise. As the product says, it's a fragrance that's there to energise you; stimulate a cool and fresh oder from your body. At first, it can come across quite overpowering, but with all good Eau de Toilette's a few sprays is all you need with this item, and this is certainly the case with this one. My girlfriend got me this back in February for my birthday, and I loved it! The packaging it comes in is a small, red box, but it's very smart. The bottle however, I loved, and even though it's now empty, it's still sitting on the side because I don't know what to do with it! The picture on here (which I think is the 75ml bottle) doesn't look as good as my 40ml bottle, it's a clear glass, round bottle, but the back has a straight edge that makes it more comfortable in the hand. Fragrances are a difficult thing to review as it very much depends on the user. However I felt I should comment on Hugo Boss Energise. The overall look of the product is very good and I was very impressed with the housing. The fragrance itself is wonderful. Not too over powering and doesn't have the strong alcohol smell that many cheaper brands have. I use the fragrance for a number of activities mainly work and socialising. The fragrance is not too sweet and therefore I see it has a good all round appeal. Hugo boss energise is with doubt my favourite aftershave of all time. The fragrance is very clean and fresh and lasts all day. The ladies absoloutley love this aftershave aswell with it being voted womens favourite fragrance in the fhm grooming awards for past three years running. Compared to other men's fragrances it is also quite reasonably priced, the cheapest place is the website cheap smells where it is priced at just £23.34 for 125ml......bargain. I recently bought Hugo Boss Energise for my boyfriend at Christmas time in 2009 after he said that he liked it. It comes in a round bottle - quite a unique shape really - with the Hugo Boss red logo on the front. The aftershave inside is a pale pink coloured liquid and it has a silver coloured press button on top to emit the cologne. The smell of this product is a clean, fresh one, perfect for day wear or evening. It is aimed at a wide audience of men ranging from teens to middle aged people.
