Advantages: Appropriate smell for all occasions.

Disadvantages: One can become too used to this product too quickly.

I have to confess I am very hard to please when it comes to fragrances. I spend ages in the shop scouting round the testers and spraying them on those tiny pieces of test paper, and finally, after a long search I stopped at this; Hug Boss' Energise.

As the product says, it's a fragrance that's there to energise you; stimulate a cool and fresh oder from your body. At first, it can come across quite overpowering, but with all good Eau de Toilette's a few sprays is all you need with this item, and this is certainly the case with this one. I can see why some people would say it's sporty in nature, and I imagine that's certainly what the producers wanted to create, however, I got a more fruity, sweeter smell, which isn't to every guys taste. In all honesty, it was actually this fruity/sweet nature of the product that I changed what fragrance I used. Maybe it was that fact that I wore it for over a year and started to get too used to it's oder, but I guess a fragrance isn't really for life anyway.

As far as the packaging of this product, it has one of the best bottles I've ever seen. Forget those small, inappropriate buttons, that end up breaking when you're only half why through the bottle, this one comes with a good, large sturdy button, that you know won't leak of break before it's time. Also the ergonomics of the bottle are superb. It's shaped to ones hand, making it so simple to apply.

I guess this product doesn't necessarily have any faults, it's all a question of your own taste, or maybe the man you are buying it for. Want something cool, fresh, and quite fruity and sweet? Then this is the fragrance for you. All I'll say, is when you start to get sick of the product, move on, and come back later. I've had many people comment on this fragrance which have always been nice compliments. For around £25/bottle, it's in the league of most other male fragrances, so buy it because you like it.

Summary: At least try it once, you'd be silly not to.
