Hugo Boss Deep Red eau de parfum has been around for a while now, but it is still one of my favourites and I'm on my second bottle. The packaging itself is very fitting with the name. The bottle is an attractive, frosted, red glass conical shape with a silver top. It comes in a dramatic black and red box. This perfume is ideal for women who secretly prefer the smell of aftershave to perfume. It's not at all floral or girly, it's more musky and masculine. As a rule I'm not faithful to any brand of perfume. If I buy a bottle, or its gifted to me, I tend just to use it until its done (provided I like it!) then move on to something else. However Hugo Boss Red is one of only two perfumes that I've purchased a second bottle of (the other being Lacoste Touch of Sun) because I love the scent so much. I'm quite fussy about my perfumes as I have a really sensitive nose and many fragrences give me terrible headaches. Hugo Deep Red is by far the best I've ever smelled and is not over powering but unlike some it holds its scent for a fairly long time. It has a pretty distinctive scent, not one that I've ever smelled before in another perfume. It smells quite fruity, but not overly sweet nor is it sickly. I'd say it smells quite autumny, but you could easily wear it any time of year.
