Advantages: Lovely soft, sensual smell

Disadvantages: None

I tested this perfume out recently and will definitely be buying a whole bottle / putting it on my birthday list, I love the smell.

This perfume is a good one for those of you who, like me, cannot wear heady and heavy perfumes as they are too strong and although the smell may be nice, after a while they are headache-inducing and can make you feel a little sick. Examples of such perfumes in my opinion are the original Poison, Gucci Envy (love the smell but can't wear it) and Flowerbomb. Hugo Boss Deep Red, on the other hand, is a soft, sensual smell which is intense enough to stay on your clothes and skin for an evening and to bring others attention to it, but subtle enough not to give you a headache. The best way that I can describe the smell is somewhere in between Issy Miyake (my absolute favourite perfume ever!) and DKNY Be Delicious (one of my favourite day perfumes). It has the soft sensual smell of Issey Miyake which makes you want to just keep smelling it, but the slight fruityness from DKNY Be Delicious - a slightly apple-like smell but without being obvious or too fruity or sweet. The price is also reasonable - around £30 for 50ml. You can also get other products of the same smell such as their deodorant or body lotion which I imagine would be very nice.

Summary: A lovely soft-smelling but sensual perfume - strongly recommend it!
