Hugo Boss Deep Red eau de parfum has been around for a while now, but it is still one of my favourites and I'm on my second bottle.

The packaging itself is very fitting with the name. The bottle is an attractive, frosted, red glass conical shape with a silver top. It comes in a dramatic black and red box.

This perfume is ideal for women who secretly prefer the smell of aftershave to perfume. It's not at all floral or girly, it's more musky and masculine. It's quite a strong scent and a few sprays last all day. I think it is more suitable to evening wear as it can be overpowering. I get a lot of people asking me what perfume I'm wearing when I wear this and I've not met anyone yet who didn't love it too. Saying that, I think this is definitely a younger person's fragrance as it's not a traditional perfume scent.

I buy most of my perfume from cheapsmells.com, where you can buy a 30ml size for around £18, a 50ml size for around £22 and a massive 90ml size for £31. I think this is great value compared to other scents. The website states it has top notes of cassis and pear, mixed with the energy of clementine and blood orange, middle notes of the exotic butterfly lilly and base notes of precious woods, vanilla and musk. Personally, the only notes I can distinguish are vanilla and musk.

You can also get this product in a body lotion which really helps the fragrance to last. I've also got it in a handy roller ball pen for my handbag which I had as a present.

Overall I would recommend you try this perfume if you haven't already, especially if you love the smell of aftershave. I am a perfume junkie but love this one as it is so different and a nice change to all my other girly, floral perfumes.
