Advantages: Can find smaller bottles via ebay. Subtle scent.

Disadvantages: Pricey at times.

First of all the image is wrong for this product, it depicts hugo boss deep red, which is nice but not on parr with Hugo Boss Woman.

~ About ~

Hugo Boss Woman comes in a circular bottle with a flattened base. It has a funky little red tag that attaches to the grey cap making sure it doesn't go astray. The red and clear or white hugo boss logo is on the front of the bottle.

It comes in a 40ml bottle though I tend to pick up the 5ml from eBay for around £4 including postage. It does me about 9 months to a year, as you only need a very little of this slightly musky fruity scent. For the 40ml bottle you are looking at £25-£30 but if you shop around you may find it for slightly cheaper. It comes in the red and white cardboard trademark hugo boss box. The 5ml bottle does not have a spray and at present I can only find on eBay, you just tip the bottle up, but the 40ml one does have a spray.

~ Fragrance ~

When you first take a sniff from the bottle, you can be a bit overpowered, its a strong fragrance. To really get an idea of whether you like the scent or not, you need to put some on a wrist, give it ten mins or so to settle and, and check it then. I have found perfume can smell different according to each person.

The fragrance is not floral, its a little fruity with a slight musty or woody scent. A few drops, or one to two sprays will last a good 12 hours after which the fruitiness of it wears off and it becomes more of a faint musk. If you go overboard with this fragrance, it looses its subtleness and becomes the original overpowering smell straight from the bottle. To me its a classy smell, you know its not a cheap buy.

~ Personal Opinion ~

Hugo Boss Woman has been my perfume of choice, alongside Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, since I first had a sniff at a sample page in a magazine. The name really appeals to me as much as the fragrance. A simple but bold statement. Woman. I always feel that extra bit a woman with a splash of hugo boss. The scent i find just delicious, its not too girly, or too young...some perfumes I smell I think straight away that it belongs on a teenager. My husband adores it, and I am guaranteed a bit of attention wearing this one. I think it would appeal to a lot of men as much as it does women.

~ Should You Buy It? ~

If you can afford its extravagant but worthwhile price, and prefer a more subtle scent rather than a floral gust, this is a good choice for you. Even just in its bottle, it makes your dressing table that bit classier. The smaller bottle of 5ml will fit discreetly into any handbag. I have also come across travel samples in a little vial on eBay, handy for those nights out.

~ Where Can I Buy It? ~

Shop around. Check out online and in your local fragrance shop or boots. If you get it for around £25 for the 40ml I would say you have yourself a bargain.
