As I write this review, I am wearing l'Eau d'Issey by Issy Miyake, which is my favourite daytime scent. It is priced very reasonably at around £40 for a 50ml bottle of eau de parfum, which, I think, is the best concentration for lasting daytime wear. L'Eau d'Issey has a light, floral fragrance, which remains consistent over the course of wearing. It is not a perfume that smells different on each person who wears it, as do some fragrances.
I have been wearing this perfume since it was first launched on the market and I never tire of its lovely fresh, floral scent, it brightens up even the gloomiest of days. I was wearing it some time ago, when I visited the post office collection depot and the man who served me was very complimentary, saying how nice it was to smell such a lovely fragrance when all day, he was surrounded by his sweaty colleagues (his words, not mine!) It is not the only time I have been complimented on how nice the perfume smells and it is nice to think that other people are getting pleasure from it, as I am.
I would recommend trying l'Eau d'Issey if you like to wear a floral scent. I believe, at one time, and possibly even now, it was the most popular female fragrance in the country. As a long time fan, I can only say that so many people can't be wrong.
