      A scent for summer!

I am a big fan of the original L'eau de Issey Femme due to its fresh and floral nature and have been loyal to it for some years. The Summer Edition intrigued me and I bought it in June and it has not disappointed me. The bottle has a similar design to the original transparent eau de toilette bottle with the addition of a pretty design at the bottom of the bottle for 2009.

It is a perfect fragrance for the summer months as it retains the woody, floral base of the original perfume. However what makes this fragrance so perfect for summer is the immediate fruitiness that meets your nose. After the initial fruit tones, the floral tones can be experienced. There is a hint of rose combined with lilies and lotuses in my mind. It is by no means an overpowering scent.

The combination of fruit and flowers is perfect for summer days as a quick spritz leaves you feeling refreshed and cool. I find that when I spritz a little in the morning the scent lasts for much of the day which means the eau de toilette will last for a long time no matter what size you purchase.

I would recommend this to anyone who likes the original scent and wants a fragrance more suitable for the summer.
