This fragrance has been one of my favourite since I was a teenager. Probably I initially just liked the very unusual and exotic looking bottle, but as I got older and became more experienced with other scents, I began to appreciate just how special this perfume is. Launched in 1993, the perfume is described as 'Floriental' since it combines both oriental, spicy flavours, with the lightness of floral scents. My husband bought this perfume for me around 4 years ago, having bought me ghost the year before and me loving it, he decided that fragrance gifts were the way to go! he bought it in a gift set in a red box that lit up when a little button was pressed on top-it had flashing red leds inside the lid that lit the picture up. i have to say it confused the hell out of me as my husband let me feel the present wrapped up and i couldnt figure out what he could have bought that would have lights flashing though the wrapping paper! When it comes to perfumes even though I do have a large collection there are some I use for everyday wear and others that I only use on special occasions and nights out. Not many make it into that second catagory so when a perfume does you know I must think very highly of it and that it must be pretty amazing. I've wanted a bottle of Classique Jean Paul Gaultier for years but have never got around to it, I'd never knowingly smelled it so it was purely based on the bottle that I wanted it so I couldn't really justify the price. A few months ago however I noticed it was available as a reward on Maximiles, I had enough points so decided to treat myself. Jean Paul Gaultier classique Eau de Toilette is a fragrance for women. It has a distinctive clear bottle in the shape of a woman's body and the EDT is orange in colour. Very nice to show off on your dressing table! The bottle is stored in a chrome style tin which you twist and pull to remove the bottle.
