I was given a bottle of MaDame as a Christmas present after I'd tried a fragranced page in a glossy magazine and said I liked it. Sometimes dropping hints really does work!
Jean Paul Gaultier is an old hand at creating iconic fragrances, packaged in bottles that reflect his trademark style. Madame is no exception- the bottle is fab, and very much what you would expect from JPG- frosted glass with one of his stylised corsets raised up on the front. Looks great in the bathroom and you wouldn't be embarrassed to pull it out of your bag if you were on a night out.
MaDame has been described as a fragrance for a modern woman. I don't know quite how far I would agree with that. To me, it smells mainly of oranges- in fact, it reminds me a little of the Body Shop's grapefruit body spritz, but with musky undertones that give it a bit of a kick. It's a very long lasting fragrance, as you would expect for the price tag; the citrus scent is really very fresh and not cloying at all (as some more long lasting fragrances can be). I think this would be a great spring/summer fragrance, and I'd certainly say it was a feel-good one. Fragrance can be such a personal thing, but I would generally say that if you like citrus perfumes, this is a good-quality one to consider. Yes, it's pricey- but it is long lasting, and has a great warm, fresh citrus scent. However, if you're looking for something similar on the cheap, it might not hurt to pay a trip to the Body Shop and check out their grapefruit and satsuma body sprays.
One last thing- as an added bonus, my husband loves this fragrance (on me, not on him)!
Jean Paul Gaultier is a well-respected designer these days and he was born more than 50 years ago in France. Since then he had a successful career in fashion and also brought out his own fragrances. His first fragrance came in 1993 called Classique and in the summer of 2008 he brought out this fragrance called Jean Paul Gaultier Ma Dame.
This fragrance appealed to me because it said it was for the modern women who want to express confident, flair and energy! Well I thought they were describing me but I actually got this one as a present so somebody else thought the same! Unfortunately Jean Paul and I have different opinions about how the modern women should smell like. He thinks it's very sweet and overwhelming while I think she must be strong spicy women and fresh at the same time.
Yes this fragrance is strong and a bit strong for me. It's very sweet and especially in the beginning it's all a bit too much for me. When it settles down it becomes better. The ingredients are musk, cedar, rose, peony pink and orange. With the last one you expect a fresher scent, unfortunately it's not.
The bottle is quite nice and it's a different clean but modern design. It's a tall transparent glass bottle with inside the shape of a woman. It's see-through so you can easily see when the bottle is running out. I would say the smell stays with you for quite some time and it might be even all day long since it's so strong.
Normally I quite like the fragrances of Jean Paul but this one disappointed me with the smell. It's all too sweet and overwhelming and I like the more subtle and spicy scent. The bottle is easy to easy and looks nice so if you are into the whole sweet scent then I would recommend it, otherwise not so much.
I love this perfume the design of the bottle is really funky and the packaging has obviously had a lot of time and effort put into the design, but ultimately it is the smell we are concerned with. I have a very eclectic taste in perfumes from sweet to floral and I think this is one of the best on the market, the original JPG is great for a winter fragrance however this one is much better for a spring/summer scent as it is a lot lighter and has very crisp citrus tones to it. It is quite expensive however it is only in the same price range as other designer labelled perfumes and you really are paying for quality. I was originally told it was limited edition however it has been out for a really long time now so I would say try a tester and if they tell you it's limited edition just ignore them it'll still be there next time you back.
Jean Paul Gaultier Madame is a great buy, if you like the Original Jean Paul Gaultier Perfume you will love this. Its a slightly lighter fragrance with fresh citrus undertones as well as the distinctive scent of JPG. i received it as a christmas present but it didnt lose its value in the sales which shows its a popular buy. I love it and like how the scent lasts all day! The bottle is a funky young design and looks good in any perfume collection. This is another classic from Jean Paul Gaultier, slightly expensive but you dont really mind when you dont need to use a lot and it lasts all day. I would highly recommend this perfume, if you can get a gift set with the body lotion in too then that makes it last even longer. Girls drop some hints to the one you love for Valentines Day!!!!
After Jean-Paul gaultier classique this is my next favourite pefume. Its a lovely fresh, floral perfume, in a cute and funky design bottle. I had this bought recently for my birthday, and my boyfriend was told upon purchasing the item that it is only a limited edition and will be took off sale soon (not sure how geunine the information is, but that come from the Perfume Shop!)
The smell is beautiful, and doesnt fade away after a couple of hours like some perfumes. I love wearing this for a night out, as the smell will last all night long.
The only downfall is the packaging, it does only come in a cardboard container, which needs to be ripped open in order to open the prefume, which is a shame as I like to keep my perfume in their boxes.
The bottle itself has the JPG naked lady carved in the middle of the bottle, with a pinky orange colour at the bottom, so is quite funky without the packaging!
Apart from that there are no complaints, would highly recommend
I got this fragrance for a Christmas present last year as i had smelt it a a perfume shop and really liked it. However, I was a little disapointed when I got it as it smelt different on me than what it had in the shop.
The fragrance itself initially is slightly overpowering and personally when first spray i dont like the smell but once its reduced and the longer it is on me the more and more i like it. Because of this i tend to wear it to work spraying it only twice in the morning (this is plently). When i do wear it a number of people ask me about it, so i am confident it does smell good.
The frangrance itself is quite unique and distinctive, its a little musky, slightly peppery (if a perfume can be) and a lot flowery.
If your thinking about buying this product i would recommend that you get a tester first and see how it smells on you.
This is my second favourite perfume after Jean-Paul gaultier classique. Its a lovely fresh, floral perfume, very summery it reminds me a little of Escada in the orange and red bottle. I work with about forty women and when I wear this perfume at work I get so many comments like you smell gorgeous what are you wearing. It is such a smooth perfume you can spray on as much as you want without choking everyone and it lasts all day. I have quite a sensitive nose and can't stand musks and things that burn your nose this like classique is so smooth and sexy I see it as the day perfume that compliments the classique which very much an evening perfume. It smells fantastic when you have had a shower and are getting ready to go out on a warm summer evening.
No it isn't cheap but its about quality and there are plenty of perfumes that are much more expensive that are nowhere near this quality.
:: Introduction ::
I received Ma Dame as a Chrismas gift in Mauritius where my partner and I spent our winter holiday in the sun, sand and sea. I also own Classique EDP, so I was very pleased having the last addition to the 'Classique' series but did the fragrance live up to itself?
:: The packaging ::
The bottle is definitely modern, girly and less sophisticated than its big sister, Classique. Engraved in the clear, pink-tinged rectangular we find the famous 'Classique' figure of a female torso with Gaultier's signature handwriting underneath.
:: The fragrance ::
Top notes: mandarine, grenadine
The fragrance opens up with intense fruity-smelling notes with a sparkling edge. The most dominant feel is fresh sweet citrus and an even sweeter, ripe fruity note of cherry or mulberry. Unmistakeably, a zesty summer feel that is almost a tad too sweet.
Middle notes: rose, peony
About half an hour later some creamy undertones of musk blended with zesty mandarin and juicy rose develop. I quite liked the composition up to this point until I realised that it's almost an exact copy of Thierry Mugler's Alien (2005) and somewhat also resembles Alien Eau Luminescente (2008). Although these two fragrances have different notes in them, I somehow find Ma Dame smells just like them. Take away the jasmine and amber from Alien and you get a watered-down, head-only and flat Ma Dame.
Base notes: cedarwood, musk
After about 3 - 4 hours the fresh and powdery cedarwood makes its appearance and softens the zesty and floral feel. There's the aroma of freshly cut wood together with the sweetness of musk that keeps the composition balanced towards the middle rather than the base.
The somewhat floral and subtly aquatic drydown has lost its intensity and leaves disappointingly weak sillage that just isn't enough. Again, Ma Dame acts like a weak and hardly detectable base of Alien.
:: Conclusion ::
Almost a generation, sixteen years have passed since Jean Paul Gaultier's first original creation of JPG Eau de Parfum in 1993 he re-launched as Classique in 1999. He then followed it up by eight Classique spin-offs whilst all those years making those he could have come up with something original and more worked-on.
Ma Dame Eau de Toilette is no more than a simplified and everyday 'Alien' cologne splash. Because it's marketed towards a younger audience, it sells itself as new and at the same time dons the Classique torso, suggesting it's as sophisticated as Classique, which it clearly isn't. I would have given it a 2 out of 5 rating had it not seduced me with its lively summer accord.
:: Additional rating ::
Originality: 2 / 5
Composition: 3 / 5
Staying power: 3 / 5
Value for money: 2 / 5
:: Price / where to buy ::
£45 / 50ml EDT or £65 / 100ml EDT. A fairly expensive price tag considering its poor staying power.
Thanks for reading.

Everytime I wear this perfume, people ask me what perfume I'm wearing and tell me I smell great!
My husband bought me this perfume as a gift just before our wedding, and at first smell, I was not too sure about it, but after the first few minutes of wearing it the scent dies down quite a bit. When you first spray the perfume, it has quite a strong and almost heavy zesty aroma but it quickly settles down and after a few minutes, it is a rather lush airy fruity scent with a hint of oranges and spice.
The design of the bottle is typical Jean Paul Gaultier - very decorative and modern. It does not have a bottle top, instead it has a safety clip at the base of the nozzle, which you just pull off before you spray the perfume and then stick it back on afterwards. This is great for carrying the bottle around in your handbag, or for when you're travelling.
The scent really seems to last a long time. I wore it on my wedding day, only spraying it in the morning and throughout the whole day and evening people were still commenting on my perfume.
This perfume is suitable for wearing casually everyday or as an evening out perfume due to its staying power, but I tend to wear it for evenings as it is the perfect finishing touch to a special outfit.
Pricewise this perfume costs about £25 for a 30ml bottle, but can probably be found cheaper if you shop around.
I absolutely love this perfume and would definitely recommend it, however if testing - don't judge it on the first smell. Give it time to settle and then smell it and you will just love it!
Like every other Christmas; this year I received lots of different perfumes from family and friends as gifts. As most people know I love my perfumes and have a very large collection of them which is forever growing. My favourite perfumes are those by Jean Paul Gaultier as they all have very sweet and feminine scents which seem to linger on my skin for hours upon end. One of the best things about the Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes is the packaging and bottle designs as they are really decorative and sometimes quite unusual compared to some of the other scents on the market. Knowing my love for Jean Paul Gaultier perfumes especially Classique; my husband treated me to a large bottle of my ultimate favourite Jean Paul Gaultier Classique as well as a large bottle of the newer fragrance which is Madame. Having never smelt Madame before I was slightly unsure as to wither I would like it or not or wither it would live up to my all time favourite Classique.
The packaging for the Madame perfume is quite unique as it is supplied in a white box which has a bright pink glitter strip across it and inside this strip is the Madame logo which is quite Rock Chick in appearance and not at all like the usual feminine classy logos which resemble the other Jean Paul Gaultier Fragrances. Inside the box is a gorgeous bottle which is extremely feminine and unusual, basically the bottle is rectangular in shape and doesn't have a lid with it; the bottle only has a sliver spray nozzle which has a safety stopper at the base of it which you just pull off before you spray the perfume and slick back on again once you have finished using the perfume. One of the more unusual aspects of the bottle design is the fact that it has what looks like a floating torso in the middle of the bottle, this infect is the same torso shape and design as the Classique scent. Bearing in mind that the torso shape looks as if it is floating inside the bottle; it really isn't as there is an indentation in the back of the bottle which gives the illusion of the floating shape when you are looking at the front of the bottle.
Jean Paul Gaultier Madame - Eau De Toilette is described as having the following fragrance notes.
Top Notes of Orange Zest, and Grenadine
The top notes are the first phase of the perfume; they are usually the most volatile and evaporate from the skin very quickly. The top notes are usually very light and refreshing and their scent usually lasts for anything between five seconds and ninety minutes.
Heart Notes of Fresh Rose velvet and sweet floral tones
The middle notes of a scent are therapeutic and balancing oils, sometimes the middle notes are often referred to as the heart notes of a scent. The middle notes are not always evident and can take between thirty and sixty minutes to develop on your skin, and they last for anything between two to four hours
Base Notes of Cedar and Musk
The base notes are the longest lasting notes in a fragrance, most perfumes use the same base notes. This is because they give the perfume more staying power and stop the top and middle notes from evaporating from your skin as quickly
As soon as Jean Paul Gaultier Madame is first sprayed onto your skin it has a rather strong and zesty like aroma which instantly reminds me of the opening notes of Jean Paul Gaultier Classique as it has the same fresh and zesty orange aroma which is extremely fresh and natural smelling. After approximately two minutes or so the scent dies down quite a lot and changes into a more mellow citrus/spicy scent which isn't as strong smelling. I was really surprised by how quickly the scent of the perfume settled down considering it was as strong smelling a first. However this scent is absolutely gorgeous and when it is completely settled it has a gorgeous light and airy composition which I'm sure most women would love the scent of.
The zesty orange aroma which you can smell as soon as the scent is sprayed isn't at all synthetic or fake smelling at all, I would say that it has a rather natural scent similar to freshly squeezes oranges. The fresh zesty orange aroma is complimented perfectly by a very sweet Pomegranate aroma which is almost sugary smelling; the main reason the pomegranate is as sweet smelling is because it is Grenadine which is in fact a sugary drink made from sugar and pomegranates. I think that the Orange and Grenadine complement each other perfectly as you have a lovely composition of fruity, sweet and zestiness which give the opening top notes some depth and body; not to mention a really feminine aroma.
The fruity top notes of Jean Paul Gaultier Madame last on your skin for a long length of time considering this scent is an eau de toilette fragrance; having said that some of the other Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances which I have used in the past have lingered on my skin for well over 14 hours or so. I would say that the top notes of Madame linger on my skin for approximately 4 hours or so before they gradually start to fade and blend in with the heart notes of the fragrance.
The heart notes of the fragrance are completely different to that of the zesty sweet fruity top notes of the scent. The heart notes smell completely different as they are more of a floral composition which is really feminine and light smelling. Even although the middle notes of the fragrance are of a floral composition, the scent doesn't smell overly floral as it has a slight creamy/sweet scent which sort of detracts from the floral scent which gives the scent a lighter and airier composition. The middle note which adds the sweet creamy tone to the fragrance is that of Jasmine, the Jasmine is quite sweet smelling although you can detect a really creamy undertone to the scent of the Jasmine as well. Normally I hate fragrances which contain Jasmine as they can sometimes have a really strong and cloying aroma, but in this instance the Jasmine is lovely because it is light sweet and airy as well as having a lovely creamy aroma, which gives it more of a lighter and airier composition. The scent of the creamy Jasmine is complimented nicely by the addition of Roses which again are quite sweet smelling and don't smell overly floral. The middle notes which are most prominent are that of the Jasmine and the Rose. All of the middle notes of this fragrance seem to compliment and blend in with one another very nicely to create a sweet and airy floral composition which also has a slight creamy undertone. Again the heart notes of the fragrance seem to last on my skin for a long length of time, on average I would say that the middle notes of the fragrance linger on my skin for approximately three hours or so before they gradually start to fade away and blend in with the base notes of the fragrance.
Again after the middle notes of the fragrance have worn away the scent starts to smell completely different again which is good for those whom aren't particularly fond of floral aromas. The fragrance changes from being sweet and floral to more of an earthy and slightly musky scent, the sweet musky fragrance note which is most prominent in this phase of the scent is that of Cedar as it has a warm and musky aroma. The Cedar is complimented perfectly by the addition of sweet Musk which adds sweetness and depth to the fragrance. The base notes of the fragrance last the longest length of time in comparison to that of the top and middle notes of the fragrance. I would say that on average the base notes of the fragrance last for approximately 5 hours or so on my skin before the perfume is completely faded and is no longer identifiable and needs to be reapplied again.
All perfumes smell slightly different on different people, and this is due to us having different oils in our skin. The staying power of a scent also differs from person to person because we have different types of skin oils too. I said in the review that this perfume lasts for about three or four hours on me, but it could last a longer or shorter amount of time on you.
People who have dry skin types will notice that perfumes don't last long on their skin. If you have dry skin and have this problem you should try layering the scent of a perfume by using the matching body lotion or shower gel before applying the perfume. By doing this you are layering the scent and applying a base for the perfume to layer itself upon, so you should notice that the fragrance will last a lot longer on your skin.
If you like the sound of this perfume then I advise that you go into your local perfume store and test it before you buy it. When testing the scent spray it onto your wrist and wear it for a few hours before you decide whether you like it or not, because the scent changes the longer you wear it due to the different notes which make up the fragrance.
When testing a perfume don't smell the scent on a perfume card because it might smell lovely on the card and when you buy it and wear it at home it might smell totally different and you might not like the scent you are wearing. I made this mistake a few times in the past and wasted £30 on a fragrance which I didn't wear again and put in the bin.
Jean Paul Gaultier Madame Eau de Toilette has excellent staying power considering the fact that it is an Eau De toilette. Generally Eau De Toilettes only have short staying powers as they are less concentrated than Eau De Parfum's. On average I would say that Madame lingers on my skin for a staggering 12 hours or more before it is no longer identifiable. I can spray this perfume on my skin in the morning before going to work and return late in the evening and still smell it very easily.
When I am using the perfume I find that three or four sprays at any one given time is more than enough; as if you use too much of this fragrance it has a somewhat cloying almost powdery aroma which is quite intoxicating and overpowering. Less is definitely more with this perfume as it can also smell sort of cheap if you are wearing too much of it.
~~PRICE AND AVAILABILITY~~
Jean Paul Gaultier Madame is available to purchase from larger department stores such as Boots and Debenhams; although you can also purchase it online from some perfume retailers and also EBay at a slightly cheaper price. The price you pay for the perfume will differ greatly depending on where you purchase it from; so I would advise having a look around and finding the cheapest deal possible. Most of the time I usually purchase my perfumes online as they are substantially cheaper compared to shopping in store.
As well as the Jean Paul Gaultier perfume you can also purchase the complimentary body lotion to layer and compliment the scent of the perfume increasing the longevity a little. People whom find that the perfume doesn't last long on their skin would benefit from using the body lotion and shower gel before applying the perfume as this acts as a base for the perfume to layer itself upon therefore increasing the longevity of the fragrance on your skin.
The pricing for the Jean Paul Gaultier Madame perfume are as follows -
100ml EDT - £58.73
30ml EDT - £25.45
50ml EDT - £51.11
200ml Shower Gel - £22.02
200ml Body Lotion - £24.96
100ml Deodorant Spray - £20.55
I absolutely adore this fragrance as it is extremely feminine and sweet smelling and it also has a slightly unusual aroma compared to some of the other fragrances which are on the market at the moment. I would say that this scent is very flexible and can be worn on any occasion wither you choose to wear it as a day to day scent or as a night time scent. Personally I prefer to use this as a casual day to day scent as it has excellent staying power and I can be confident that the scent will last me the whole day through without needing to worry about reapplying it. You also have the added advantage of not needing to carry it round in your handbag with you.

- Jean Paul Gaultier -
Jean Paul Gaultier is one of the most significant designers working today. Hailed as the saviour of Haute Couture, he is one of the world's most famous living Frenchmen. Jean Paul Gaultier was born in 1952 (now aged 56), and in the early 70's he trained under Pierre Cardin and Jean Patou, and eventually launched his own collection in 1976. He is best known for his playful designs; he introduced male skirts, tattoo-printed stockings as well as designing the outrageous wardrobe for Madonna's tour of 1990!
Jean Paul Gaultier has released many perfumes, both for men and women, since 1993. MaDame is the latest perfume from him released quite recently this year. MaDame was developed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, who has also developed a number of Jean Paul Gaultiers' fragrances.
MaDame is a very interesting fragrance and I don't think there is anything quite like it!! It's quite a hard perfume to review but I will do my best!!
If you've seen the advert for MaDame on TV or in a magazine, you'll know exactly what the perfume is all about. If you haven't seen it, the TV advert shows model Agyness Deyn (the muse for MaDame) cutting her hair into her famous short hair, and cutting and ripping up her clothes! Even the picture for the magazine advert gets the message across; MaDame is for young, edgy and rule-breaking women.
So on to the most important bit: the scent. I smelt this on paper and wasn't too impressed. It was a little dull it smelt quite, well strange! However when I tried it on my wrist, the fragrance seemed more alive! When you first spray the perfume you'll be greeted by a loud, fun, fizzy smell. It's a very fruity smell and almost sour. It has just the right amount of sweetness in it, although it isn't sugary sweet. The notes are acidic orange, velvet rose, grenadine, musk and cedar. The acidic orange is definitely first to make a statement, it pretty much takes over the fragrance to start with, accept for hints of grenadine creeping in. After around an hour or two, the orange starts to die down a little. Soon enough, the more floral notes take over, turning MaDame into a creamier scent, but with still the slight zinginess it begun with. The fizzy, wild, fun side of the perfume fades a little but never completely dies down.
I think the staying power of MaDame is brilliant. It opens loud as I've said, but it's also quite strong. However, it's not completely overwhelming either. The fruity, fizzy smell stays for around 1 to 2 hours and then a creamier smell is left behind. It lasts for basically the rest of the day; it manages to be a softer smell but still quite strong.
The packaging of MaDame fits very well with the personality of the fragrance. It sticks with the young, edgy style and the result are quite fun. The bottle is simple but sweet, it is a glass rectangle shape which has been slightly tinted pink, more so on the edges. On the bottle, the signature Jean Paul Gaultier female figure emblazoned on the front with the Jean Paul Gaultier signature just underneath it. It's attractive packaging and looks expensive.
As well as the Eau de Toilette, Jean Paul Gaultier: MaDame energising shower gel and melting body lotion can be bought. Both only come in 200ml.
MaDame is available in three different sizes 30ml, 50ml, and 100ml Eau de Toilette. The prices do range depending on where you buy from.
30ml: £25 - £28
50ml: £38 - £42
MaDame is quite expensive but now many other perfumes are around the same price. Personally I do think it is worth it, but as it is such a different fragrance, it depends on personal preference.
Is MaDame worth it? As I've said, MaDame is a unique fragrance which you'll either love or hate. If you're unsure, I advise you to try before you buy! The fizzyness and fruity smell isn't for everyone.
I'm a fairly recent convert to Jean Paul Gaultier Ma dame Eau de Toilette after it was recommended to me by a friend, well actually I smelt it on her liked it so went out and got some myself, it is not too badly priced, sort of in the mid range for department store fragrances as a 50ml bottle is usually between £40 to £50 however if you shop around you can get it cheaper.
I find that it has a rather fruity smell to it and combines this with a floral scent, I find it quite light and fresh and as such I tend to wear this as a day time scent rather than something I would wear at night. It has a really good lasting scent as well and will pretty much last most of the day.
As with al Jean Paul Gaultier scents there is a good attention to detail and the packaging is rather stylish, the bottle is rectangular in shape with a clear glass slightly tinted a pink colour and the distinctive Gaultier womans torso visible as well and the designers signature at the bottom.
This is a good product and one I wear quite frequently.
- Jean-Paul Gaultier -
Jean-Paul Gaultier is a french designer who has designed costumes for several celebrities for example Kylie Minogue for her KYLIEX tour. Ma Dame is one of his latest perfumes, following Classique, Le Mâle, Fragile and a few others.
- Fragrance -
Ma Dame is aimed at the rebellious buyers, and was personified by muse Agyness Deyn, model (she also models the fragrance in most of the adverts). Jean-Paul Gaultier calls this sort of style (Agyness Deyns') "style garçonne". The first thing I thought when I sprayed this was "hmmm....unique!". Unique it is! The notes include orange zest, sparkling rose, musk and cedar wood, and you can probably tell by those notes that it is a bright, colourful, fruity-citrusy sweet fragrance but not in a sugary kind of sweet (if you get that!). There is definitely no other fragrance like it! It is fizzy and sparkling and an energetic scent. The staying power is good, the smell lingers on your skin for a few hours after applied. The heart of the fragrance however, is powdery floral woods, more delicate and softer than that citrusey smell you are greeted by but still quite vibrant and fruity. As I said it is very unique and different!
- Packaging -
The packaging stays on the "style garçonne" theme. The box is tall and white, with a pink strip running through the middle of it with Ma Dame quite crazily printed on it! The bottle is a glass .bottle that is slightly tinted pink. It has the famous Jean-Paul womens figure on it with a silver sprayer.
- Price -
Ma Dame is available in three sizes, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. the prices range from £35 to £60.
- Verdict -
Personally, I think Ma Dame is a great fragrance but I can see why other peole would not enjoy it
A few days ago my gift came from a designer website I had signed up to, the only reason I signed up was for buying gifts for Christmas as my days of designer gear are behind me.
I am very glad I signed up for the free catalogue now though because the gift I received was a 30ml bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier: Ma dame, Eau de Toilette and very nice it is too.
The bottle is very stylish and you know straight away you are looking at an expensive perfume, the bottle is square and transparent but has a pink tinge (mostly around the edges), it has on the front a raise shape of a woman's torso which is very much this designers logo.
I find explaining a scent to be very difficult but my attempt would be to tell you that it has a strong fruity top note that is the first thing you smell, it is fresh and a bit like citrus zest. Once the top note dies down you are left with a mixture between the original citrus zest and a more traditional floral note. All in all the scent is very nice and extremely long lasting.
This fragrance comes in 30, 50 and 100ml bottles and the best prices I found for them are as follows.
I would strongly recommend you try the perfume out at somewhere like Boots the chemist before buying because everyone has their own taste but to me this was a wonderful perfume and one that I will probably buy again once this one has gone!
Jean Paul Gaultier MaDam Eau De toilette, has an unmatched fragrance.if you wanna buy a strong and long lasting smell then just go for it.
I found its fragrance sensational and classy. And now i am fond of this smell.when i used this one, for the very first time, i got unbelievable freshness.Because it keeps me tranquil, positive and cool.
MaDam has some magic because when i go college after wearing this especially boys seems very kind towards me.if you really wanna get attention in your friend circle, just try this one.
once you tried this, you will forget all other, that you have used before.
The jean Paul Gaultier MaDam Bottle comes in a simple and rectangular shape. This bottle comes in 30ml,50ml,100ml.And you can buy this according to your economy. This one is not so cheaper but a worth considering product.
The jean Paul Gaultier has Male versions so that, if you are thinking to give a gift to your someone special, then you have a perfect choice with The Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male summer.
