I had the first Jlo perfume and loved it...so I had high expectations for this one...... With top notes of 'sicilian lemon, orange, pineapple', heat notes of 'redcurrant, violet and peony' , and base notes of' white musk, vanilla and sandalwood' you'd be forgiven for thinking that this would be a citrusy fragrance....and when you first apply this, you can easily smell the fruits however the only problem I have with this fragrance is that the base notes of musk and vanilla do come through quite quick, had I not checked the notes I would have thought the heart notes consisted of vanilla nd musk due to how quickly you can smell these...so was surprised to see ...  Read the complete review

I received this as a gift for Christmas '07 and although I havent used a lot of it (still have half the bottle left!) I love the scent which is a mixture of fruity and floral notes, it's sweet-smelling yet still gorgeous. I have to say that it does smell better on than straight from the bottle, as many perfumes do and I have often received compliments when wearing it. I think some ladies may be put off by the sweet smell as it may seem a little sickly at first spray, so it is not for everyone. I think it is aimed at a younger market due to its fruity scent and would be a lovely gift for a girl in her late teens. The colours on this perfume bottle was what drew me to it at first, very closley followed by the price. After i smelt it i decided that was something that would be perfect as a christmas present for my mum. When she recevied it she was estatic - she loved the smell. After smelling it whilst around her for a while it really really grew on me. Its not usually the type of fragrance i'd buy. Especially as it was brought out/picked out by a celebrity, and even then a celebrity that i know absolutley nothing about. I bought Live by Jlo to replace a perfume I've worn for years which the manufacturers have recently stopped making. It was on sale and sounded good on the back of the box so I thought I'd give it a try. I sprayed on the perfume and was aware that it didn't seem to completely dry on my skin and left a slightly greasy feel.
