Jimmy Choo for women is the newly released fragrance created by the popular designer fashion brand of the same name. Jimmy Choo shoes are one of the most desired forms of footwear available and so branching out into the world of perfume has been a risky move, but in my opinion, it has been a successive one.

Inspiration
This fragrance is supposed to appeal to the modern women. It aims to represent the strong and powerful women who is fashion savvy and knows how to have fun. The flirty fragrance claims to embody all that is glamorous and envelops the wearer in a seductive confidence, making them feel mysterious, empowered and beautiful.

Top Notes
The top note is the floral aroma of the Tiger Orchard which gives the perfume a delicious kick of Vanilla. It gives a relaxing sweetness to the perfume that is long lasting.

Middle Notes
The heart of the fragrance is created by a fruity mixture of Pear Nectar and a citrus blast of Sweet Italian Orange.

Bottom Notes
The base of the perfume is made from the sugary sweetness of Toffee and a warm depth is created using the earthy aroma of Indonesian Patchouli.

Packaging and Price
The perfume comes in a box which has a pink snake skin pattern covering the surface. The fragrance inside comes enclosed within a beautiful shimmering pink glass bottle. It has been cut in a way that makes the bottle sparkle nicely, especially when the sunshine catches it. At the top of the bottle, there is a silver band on which is inscribed Jimmy Choo and it has a black square lid with a silver border. It does look classy and expensive and I am happy to have this one on display in my bathroom.

The fragrance comes in a variety of sizes. My 40ml bottle cost me around 38 pound and you can also chose a 60ml bottle or a 100ml bottle although obviously these sizes will cost more. I was expecting this perfume to cost more than it did because the price of Jimmy Choo shoes are in the hundreds, however the price of this perfume is on par with most other fragrances. The product can be bought from most large department stores, fragrance stores and many online websites so if you shop around, you may find it for cheaper.

My thoughts
I received a free sample of this fragrance and was instantly hooked. It smells extremely similar to my favourite fragrance, Black XS by Paco Rabanne which I love so shortly after smelling the of this sample, I was at the shops purchasing a full sized bottle.

The Vanilla fans will love this fragrance. I can detect the Vanilla strongly and the caramel aroma of the toffee mixes in with it perfectly. Other than the obvious sweetness, I can't really detect the pear or the citrus scent of the orange. I can't smell the earthiness of Patchouli but I can detect the warm and depth that the ingredient possesses.

Despite being very sweet, it still remains a fairly grown up perfume that exudes class while maintaining a touch of fun. It is suitable for wearing in the day and night, summer and winter so it is quite a versatile fragrance. I wear mine both to work and a night out and people comment on how nice it smells in both settings.

On the subject, of people commenting, if you overdo the application of this fragrance, it will become offensive to those around you. It is quite a strong and powerful scent and more than a few squirts will be too much. When I spray too much, it gets sickly because of the sweetness and you can smell it strongly each time that you breath in. I always take this as a good thing though as it means you need to use less of the perfume, which in turns means the bottle will last longer.

If you do take it easy though, you will be left with a delicious and long lasting fragrance that makes you feel sexy, fresh and confident all day and all night. The fragrance's staying power is impressive and if you've sprayed it on a scarf or coat, you'll still be able to smell the perfume on the item of clothing a few days later although obviously it gets fainter over time.

All in all, if you prefer your fragrances to be delicate and subtle, you won't like this. This is a sweet fragrance mixed with a sophisticated warmth that is powerful and long lasting. I really like this fragrance because it is versatile and inoffensive, providing you don't go overboard with the application. I would love to afford a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes one day, but until that day, this perfume will leave me more than satisfied.
