Advantages: strong, confident, womanly, sensual
Disadvantages: price
I was given this perfume a while ago by my sister. Obviously being aware of the Jimmy Choo brand (we've all watched sex and the city, right?) I was quite excited to try this perfume out and see what it was like.
The Jimmy Choo brand screams sophistication and high class so I had big expectations when it came to this fragrance. Though the box (a nasty pink snake skin) did not initially shout luxury to me I think the bottle is extremely beautiful. It looks similar to the Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb scent as it is shaped a little like a grenade. By that I mean the glass on the outside has rivets on it, it is circular in shape with an elongated top. The bottle is made from clear glass and the perfume inside is a lovely light, soft pink colour which is very pretty. The bottle also has a squared black plastic lid edged in silver. The overall look is stylish, modern and yet somehow classic at the same time.
The main body of this scent is fruity. I would describe it as being very strong, confident and sexy and this is the kind of woman I imagine wearing it. Though very fruity this is also a deep perfume with many layers which open out as it mellows. It is both warm and rich and has a deep layer of woody, earthy tones which give it a beautiful sensual edge.
The fragrance is described as being for beautiful, empowered and alluring women and this is exactly the lady I imagine wearing this scent. It has a real attitude to it which I think is very sexy but it also has a sweetness to it which gives it an elegance.
I would say this is a pretty versatile scent and as such I would way it from day into night. It is constantly changing and because of that it really suits all seasons and this is what I like most about it. In terms of longevity I find this perfume lasts me around 5-6 hours which is what you would expect from a good eau de parfum.
If you are thinking of purchasing this it will set you back somewhere between £40-£70 depending on what size you go for. Personally I probably wouldn't rush out to pay this much for it but maybe shop around online and see if I can get myself a good deal, or if all else fails put it on the birthday list.
Overall, a lovely scent with constantly evolves.
Summary: A strong and confident scent.
