Advantages: Excellent value, unique smell

Disadvantages: Some people will hate it, overpowering

I have now worn Joop for years and have come to the conclusion that this Eau de Toilette (which actually means Toilet Water) is either loved or hated.

The fragrance itself is a very unique smell that is borderline perfume (very feminine), fruity yet spicy but very overpowering if you use more than a couple of sprays. Subtlety is not this fragrances strong point!

I remeber going for an interview a few years back and in my stupidness wore Joop and a few sprays of it too. The interview took place in a tiny office with 3 other people and had to be changed to another room due to the overpowering smell of my aftershave!! Embarassing - yes!

Anyway do not let this put you off because if it is a fragrance that you smell and it appeals to you, you will end up falling in love with it and using it for years yet. Just remember one spray is enough.

The smell itself is very long lasting and you get excellent value for money as a bottle of this if used everyday will last a good few months.

My opinion - i love it!
