Joop: Jump, Eau de Toilette is my favourite fragrance I have in my collection. It was launched in 2005 but is still a very modern and sought after product. I was given this as a gift by my girlfriend nearly 2 years ago now and I still have most of it left because you don't need to use much of it. ( read below. )
The product comes in a nifty clear blue bottle.
The bottle I have contains 75ml of the fragrance and I believe it was purchased for around £25.
I find that it is very fresh smelling I would say this is due to the citrus notes that it has and apparently this has vodka in it too, when you smell this I think you will pick the vodka up, but luckily it isn't strong or overpowering.
With 1 or 2 sprays of this you will get a long lasting fragrance ( plus because of this you will save a lot of money as it will last you months ).
If I spray this on during the morning, by the time the day if over the smell is still noticeable, and it does not get a musky smell after a few hours.
I recommend this for guys who like a clean, fresh smelling fragrance and would like to get a few compliments!
Overall a product I would recommend to anyone who wants to smell better then the person beside them.
Joop Jump was launched 6 years ago in 2005 and yet is as refreshing and individual a scent as you will find anywhere on the market.
I was bought this a year or two ago and it has been an absolute favourite of mine. The Perfume Shop claim it has heart notes of "frozen vodka" and top notes of "grapefruit". Well im not sure about that but i know it smells fantastic.
At about £45 for 100ml it is expensive and i wouldnt suggest it is for everyday use. Infact, as a student I probably wouldnt buy it myself more than once a year, but this doesnt mean it isn't great, i'm just poor. Also i find it goes a long way; the scent stays for a a considerable length of the time, at least 5-6 hours. Despite this, it isn't in anyway overpowering, but a subtle and enticing undertone.
Perhaps not a fragrance for work or everyday life, but certainly for an occasion or night out. Friends female AND male have complimented me when wearing this and i would recomend it to anyone.
Joop: Jump, Eau de Toilette
This smell of Joop! I actually use for years and often change with Joop! GO. I really like the brand Joop! And think they have some excellent fragrances. They come for an ok price since this one cost around 25 pounds but then you get the 100ml version.
The Joop: Jump, Eau de Toilette comes in a dark blue, transparent glass bottle is thick and quite heavy. He is 8 inches high, 3 inches wide and almost 2 inches deep. The bottle fits comfortably in your hand. On the front of the bottle you can find the logo of Joop! JUMP in white and in green letters. The cap is silver and it is easy to open. I like the appearance of the bottle.
In this fragrance you have extracts as frozen vodka, rosemary, grapefruit, musk and tonka beans in it. I would not know how it should smell, but it works for me. The scent can be described as spicy, sharp, but still fresh and I can smell a bit of grapefruit. When you spray the fragrance in the morning it will last all day long. Compared, for example with the Joop! GO I think that this smell is sharper, spicier and less sweet.
I have been using this fragrance for quite some time now and I'm very satisfied. It is a modern fragrance that I think is bought by younger men. I think in any case that the spicy, yet refreshing scent is perfect for me. I always switch with the smell of Joop! GO that smells a little bit sweeter. I can highly recommend the product that's spicy, but nevertheless still fresh. That's why I give this product 5 stars!
Joop Jump was brought onto the market in 2004. It is sold in a dark blue and silver bottle with white and green writing on the front. Although it is available in other sizes, the one I come across the most is the 100ml bottle. This is normally priced at around £44.00 for the Eau De Toilette. A 50ml bottle is usually priced at around £30.00.
This is one of my favourite male fragrances. I purchased this for my partner at Christmas time and can't get enough of it. It smells like quite an expensive fragrance, but is quite reasonably priced compared to other brands.
Joop Jump contains main notes of Rosemary, thyme and grapefruit. Its middle notes are Frozen Vodka, Coriander leaves and Heliotrope with Tonka bean oil, vetiver oil and musk oil. I personally find the fragrance very sensual and I can smell hints of citrus. Jump has a very fresh and inviting smell to it.
In terms of how long the fragrance lasts, it can still be smelt hours after application, with it smelling equally as good later on as it did when first applied.
I would recommend this fragrance to anybody, as it has such a unique and sophisticated smell which can be adapted to different environments. Although the smell is long lasting it is not too overpowering to wear in hot or cold weather. It is quite a modern smelling fragrance, which is why it is so popular.
This is another great offering from the Joop! brand and I can assure you that it doesn't disappoint.
The first thing that I noticed when I got it for Christmas a few years back was the colour of the box and bottle. It is a sort of electric blue, which stands out immediately.
In my opinion the scent differs considerably from the original Joop! fragrance. It has a much fresher scent, with a very zesty hint to it, quite different to anything I had smelt before. The smell is strong and lasts throughout the day. I would describe the scent as versatile and so can be worn at any time of day and for any occasion.
The product has come down in price considerably over the past few years and a 50ml bottle can be found for under £30 relatively easily. In addition to this, Christmas, gifts sets are often available where the fragrance is sold with a Joop Jump deodorant at a bargain price.
This scent apparently contains vodka, well I dont know about that, but it sure smells nice!
As soon as you pop open the silver chrome top, and spray the fine mist hits your skin, you recieve this fresh, revitalized, energetic, funky, young, zesty bundle of joy, that will turn heads more than the latest outbreak of swine flu!
Seriously though, I have tried the original joop (we all no the one which is the the bright pink bottle) I have to say I found the original Joop pour Homme a touch afeminite, for a male scent.
This recent eau de toilette like its name would suggest, (Jump) kick starts the brand and gives a much needed added kick in what seems to be a saturated market place.
The packaging is rich and bright and colour, and kinda goes with the scent itself.
The only bug bearer I tend to have with any aftershaves/eau de toilettes is when you spend all that money, and you have to put nearly half the blooming bottle around your neck to still be able to whiff it half an hour later. Well while this number is not so strong, it is rather long lasting, so 4 sprays will last most of the day!
Joop Jump was released in 2004 by well known fragrance maker Joop! This was the first fragrance I ever bought and I wasn't left disappointed. It came in a very nice royal blue box and inside was a very stylish royal blue glass container (that looks great on in your bathroom or bedside locker etc . . .) with the fragrance inside. I had previously smelt the fragrance before I bought it courtesy of a friend, and In my opinion it doesn't smell just as good until you buy it yourself.
Joop! Jump retails at around £20-£35 depending on your bottle size and at first I thought this was a little expensive, especially for the 100ml which is what i went for. However, i have been using it like you would a normal fragrance for around 2 years and I still have about 3/4 of a bottle left, so it does last.
The smell itself is very unique, it smells great and somewhat sexy at first but after a while it begins to smell a bit more sweet and sickly (maybe due to overuse?) although most friends still seem to enjoy the aroma. Joop! Jump like most fragrances is available both online and at fragrance stocking stores.
The duration in regards to wearing the fragrance is also quite respectable. You could put it on in the morning and it would still be evident in the late evening however it will wash off in either the rain or if you have a shower, so it's best to keep your body protected.
On the whole a very good purchase well worth my £30 and I recommend you give it a whirl.
For my AS-level Design Technology project I chose to design and construct an exact-ish copy of the Joop Jump bottle and packaging which had been bought for me the previous christmas. After finishing the project I felt I had learnt alot about Joop Jump, regarding both its structure and smell. And so I decided to have a shot at reviewing it - something ive never tried before with a fragrance.
Ever since I first witnessed the passing of the Joop Jump fragrance outside Boots in Nottingham I immidiately wanted to own it! The smell is in many ways not that dissimilar to other rival after-shaves. its strong smelling and lasts for an impressive amount of time. But despite this, Joop Jumps distinctive smell remains its greatest quality.
The frangrances bottle and alluminium lid appeal to a stylistic audience of young adults aged 16-25. The bottles smooth curves and body-like structure (with that dark blue transparant exterior) is calling out at the 'cool' generation, screaming (in a chilled voice) for them to buy, buy, buy. Its easy to say this fragrance contains a certain 'image' which attracts customers.
Both the packaging and bottle stress the existance of pure quality within this product. The products 'feel' is that of an excellent finish and high standard of manufacture. The packagings misty, fading blue exterior follows the theme of the product, continuing that 'cool' mood surrounding Joop Jump.
When your aiming to purchase a recognised image, feel and smell, generally the only thing standing in your way is price. Well, with Joop Jump this annoyance still seems to apply. Its not all bad news though! - 3years ago when I bought my Joop Jump fragrance, the product was selling at nearly £30.00 a bottle, now it can be bought from Ebay at just £19.48 with other Joop Jump products included in the deal.
A long-lasting, nice smelling, smartly finished fragrance from over-seas. Joop Jump won my nostrils over and I hope it can do the same for you!
EBAY PRICE = £19.48

Launched in March 2004, Joop! Jump is a relatively new fragrance from the Joop range of products and was kindly presented to me at Christmas in addition to several other brands.
Joop being one of my favourite fragrances means that Im guaranteed a bottle at every special occasion, however this year instead of the warm purple bottle of the original Joop I was gifted the warm Royal Blue bottle of Joop! Jump and to be honest I had no idea how it would smell, but I had an idea that it would be a light and fresh fragrance in the same way as the original.
Available in both 50ml and 100ml bottles of the EDT or aftershave, prices range from £30 for the 50ml and £40 for the 100ml bottle Joop! Jump can be purchased online or alternatively from most perfume counters where you really will have to search for it.
Marketing for Joop! Jump was slack to say the least when first released and I have to admit this isnt a fragrance I have seen on TV, magazines or indeed on the shelves at most perfume counters. The blurb contained within the box itself states that this is the fragrance to make you jump out of your suit, established yet unconventional providing a cool sensation yet a uplifting and refreshing fragrance. OK .
On closer research I was amazed to find that Jump! Jump actually contains the fragrance of frozen vodka and the notes are as follows:
Head Notes: Rosemary, thyme and grapefruit
Heart: Frozen Vodka, coriander leaves and heliotrope
Dry-Down: Tonka bean oil, vetiver oil and musk oil.
My first impressions on application were that this was a very cool fragrance, after shaving there was no noticeable burn, which is always nice! The lack of burn on application was welcomed as it also meant that any subsequent rash from the burn was therefore not forthcoming. Turning to the smell, well that perplexed me for weeks as to what the actual smell was. It reminded me of sweets as a child and the grapefruit and citrus undertones were the most powerful of the main notes.
Only a small splash of the aftershave was required for good coverage and the fragrance quickly fills the room in a very good way. The head notes are evident for well over 30 minutes until it begins to react with skin and alter down with the coriander bringing a warmer sensuous fragrance to the fore in mixture with the light citrus which does fade leaving it noticeable, but not in an overbearing way.
Again, after a further hour the citrus fades even further, and the heart note of musk oil begin to give the fragrance that added manly smell. Mixed with the very faint citrus of the grapefruit, hints of coriander and musk this remains very light but warm making it extremely unique and completely different to the original Joop!
As only a small amount is required due to the strength on first application, a 50ml bottle when used every day will last for months making it very good value for money.
In terms of longevity Joop! Jump is exceptionally hardwearing and is still evident after 12 hours. I personally love this fragrance and wear it to work, on nights out and especially when I want the wife to move even closer. This is another stunning addition to the Joop! family of fragrances and in my opinion will be timeless in the same way as Armanis Acqua di Gio, Polo Sport and Bvlgari Extreme.
This comes highly recommended for daywear, nights out, special occasions and definitely for those special romantic nights with the one you love. A pulling fragrance if ever there was such a thing.
Thanks for taking the time to read and rate.
