I always get a lot of gift vouchers after birthday and Christmas - I tend to combine these with in store offers so I can also max out my boots points - more "free" toiletries for me :P
**About the brand**
Not a brand I know much about . I saw them as that expensive handbag /jogging bottoms brand. I still think the same for a lot of their products but the perfume was a good price/
**Price and where to get**
I got a really good deal on the giftset in the sales where I paid £17.75 in boots points - always worth waiting for sales to pick up perfumes.
30ml - £34
50ml - £45
100ml -£63.33 as always it is better value to get the bigger bottle if you like it.
This is widely available from the likes of boots, john lewis, Debenhams .
All the bottles seem to have the same design which made it quite hard trying to pick the one I wanted. The shop I was in had a sample bottle of the noir one which was next to this and I though it was that I had smelled. This is a clear glass bottle with juicy couture on it and a pink bow. Saying that it is a nice chunky glass bottle - doesn't feel at all cheap.
travel spray .. Quite a big range.
Wild berries, mandarin orange
Jasmine, gardenia, honeysuckle
Vanilla, sandalwood, praline, caramel, amber
At first you get hit with a very sweet scent The overall scent doesn't last that long so I don't really notice much after the initial sweet smell followed by the wild berries and mandarin orange. I like how the caramel makes the base notes sweeter than my normal perfumes .
I would say both with the bottle design and the light more daytime scent that this is aimed at a younger audience. I think that anyone that likes the juicy couture brand would love this as a gift.
Quite a fruity/ slightly floral scent that lasts an average amount of time 2/3 hours at most.
First off, I love this bottle.. I think it is so cute and looks great on your dressing table. I would say this is my second favorite Juicy Fragrance (the first being couture couture) because it''s a lovely fragrance that seems to last a long time. Again this is the kind of fragrance that would be perfect used inside a Travalo because it gives a fresh burst of fragrance instantly. When wearing this perfume your bound to get many compliments and having worn this perfume years, it''s one of those that when I run out I will certainly look to get another bottle. I think the price of the Juicy perfumes is very reasonable and they are usually readily available in most perfume and beauty shops. I also love that the juicy perfumes often come in very well priced gift sets which include the perfume, shower gel and lotion, and that this fragrance also comes in a travel size roll on - which is fantastic for journeys. This fragrance reminds me of warm summer nights on holiday and it''s perfect day or night. I would certainly recommend this perfume not only for the lowly scent but a beautiful bottle and a great price. One thing I would mention however is that when buying the Juicy Couture gift sets to stick to the scents you like best, as some of the shower gels/body lotions can smell quite different and not always as pleasant as the perfume. I love this fragrance and I''m sure it will be one I continue to use.
I really love Juicy Couture's fragrances. I had never been particularly interested in them until I tried Viva La Juicy La Fleur in Boots a few months ago and I loved it!
I bought it online (where it was much cheaper) the next day and it is one of my absolute favourite fragrances.
It was only a matter of time before I started adding more Juicy Couture fragrances to my collection and not long after I bought a bottle of Juicy Couture, which I got a good deal on a 50ml bottle and during the early May bank holiday I went on a huge shopping spree and bought the original Viva La Juicy and the newest fragrance, Couture La La both from cheapsmells.com.
~ Bottle ~
I really love the big chunky glass bottles that Juicy Couture make so I just had to have the 100ml eau de parfum.
The bottle looks giant. The glass is really chunky and quite heavy. I absolutely love the bottle. It is rectangular shaped and has a gold coloured metal logo on the front.
The perfume itself is a light orange colour.
The lid is large and bold. It is a silver cylinder that fits over the spray release. A bright pink satin ribbon is wrapped around the cylinder with a gold coloured safety pin pinned through it with a 'J' shaped charm and a necklace charm with the word 'couture' in gold.
The top of the lid is a chunky clear jewel, which alone is more than an inch tall.
The lid is very similar to the lid of Viva La Juicy La Fleur.

Viva La Juicy is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles. It is an eau de parfum.

~ Scent ~
This perfume is lovely. It is juicy, fruity and sweet with an edge to it.
The top notes are wild berries and juicy mandarin.
The heart notes are honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine.
The base notes are amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and pralines.
It smells quite similar to Viva La Juicy La Fleur, but it has a slight sharpness to it, which La Fleur does not have. La Fleur is a lighter, fresher version of this. This perfume is a lot deeper.
The fragrance is dominated by the fruity notes. I can detect a floral element to it, but cannot pick out the floral notes individually.
It is fun and uplifting.
I think this perfume would suit younger women and teenagers as it is sweet and fruity and I think the packaging aims at younger women. It comes in a bright pink box with gold writing on.
The scent lasts around 8 hours on my skin before wearing off. I often find sweet, fruity scents seem to disappear quicker than strong florals so I have been impressed with the longevity of this perfume.
I would say this is a perfume I'd choose for day time wear rather than nights out or special occasions. It is fairly light and I prefer heavier fragrances for night time wear.
I don't love this perfume as much as Viva La Juicy La Fleur, but I still love it and I think it deserves a 5 star rating.
~ Conclusion ~
This is a lovely juicy, fruity fragrance. It has good longevity and is great for every day wear.
I really love the chunky glass bottle that it comes in. I would definitely buy this again if my bottle were to run out and I think it is reasonably priced and would make a great gift for a friend or family member.
Viva La Juicy is my favorite perfume by far, smells so sweet and girly, its perfect for anyone who loves things pink and Juicy. I first smelt this perfume when I was at Stanstard airport, it was simply by luck that i smelt it as i was attracted to the bottle and the pink girly vibe it gave off, and i fell in love with it instantly.
The Packaging is a bright pink which matches the bow on the bottle with gold "Viva La Juicy" written on it. Perfect for any teenage girl.
The smell lasts for ages I take my jacket and dress off after a night out and can still smell the perfume when I go to wash my clothes the next day. Have had so many compliments on this perfume with everyone asking where I bought it. It definitely makes a fantastic first impression, which really lasts.
I have bought this perfume many times and recently bought it as a promotion with a matching body lotion. I found it great value for money as the body lotion seems to be lasting for ages and gives a more subtle smell.
I have nothing negative to say about this perfume the bottle is so cute with its pink bow and diamond shapes lid, looks gorgeous sitting on my dressing table.
The smell is suitable for any age but is definitely for anyone super girly.
~*~*~ Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy ~*~*~
Now this could be described as the ideal chavtastic perfume, me on the other hand describe it as fantastic.
I really love it!
There are numerous matching products in the range and these include shower gel, body lotion, body creme, solid perfume and dusting powder. I only have the perfume so I can't comment on these but I expect they would be amazing for building up the scent of this and making it last longer.
~ The Scent ~
My favourite part of this is the initial sweet, candy like scent.
~ Notes ~
Top - Mandarin Orange & Wild Berries.
Heart - Honeysuckle, Gardenia & Jasmine.
Base - Amber, Caramel, Praline, Sandalwood & Vanilla.
The opening of the wild berries gives it that initial sweetness and as it mellows you can detect the sweet caramel base coming through which warms the scent up. It is a delightful sweet and fruity fragrance.
The fragrance has a strong, noticeable scent but I don't feel that it is too overpowering. I do think this is probably more suited to cooler weather as I think it would be a bit heady on a warms summers day, it could possibly end up being quite sickly as the vanilla notes come through but that is just my opinion.
The bottle is simply a piece of glamour and I adore it. It is a thick glass bottle through which you can clearly see the amber coloured liquid, the front of the bottle is embossed with the Juicy Couture logo and the lid is like a clear diamond. Around the neck is a pretty pink bow with a gold effect Couture charm safety pinned onto it. I think it looks really girly and pretty but I can see why some may think it looks a bit chavvy!
~ My Thoughts ~
I initially wanted this just for the glamours looking bottle, I hadn't had a chance to wear it or even smell it but alas I did get given a bottle for Christmas, I was overjoyed and obviously had to try it out straight away.
I was really taken by the sweetness of this scent and knowing that I only needed three maybe four squirts was great. I found the scent lasted on my skin for around 4 hours before gradually fading away to nothing but I wasn't to bothered by that. I do think its the heavier scents that have the greatest staying power anyway.
I really love this, I love the scent and the bottle!

I like to have different fragrances for different occasions and after running low on my perfume for fun occasions, I put Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture on my birthday list. And guess what I unwrapped on my birthday??
At the heart of this fragrance is a floral bouquet of Honeysuckle, Gardenia and sweet Jasmine. The top notes have been created using a fruity cocktail of Wild Berries and Mandarin. The base notes of this fragrance however are what truly caught my eye when reading up about this fragrance because they really do sound good enough to eat. The base notes have been created using a scrumptious mixture of Caramel, Vanilla and Praline with a sprinkling of Amber and Sandalwood for good measure.
The perfume is supposed to have two sides. The first is a fun, young and cool side while the other is mature and glamorous. In my opinion, the aroma is far closer to the first description than the second description. This is one of the first perfumes that I have ever used which manages to smell like most of the key ingredients. The over riding aroma is one of complete and utter sugary sweetness with cream squirted on top but the fruity mandarin also powers through as does a touch of floral delicacy.
Who should wear the fragrance?
The fragrance is definitely flirty and fun, and just like the bottle, it doesn't have much class about it. It is probably best suited to teenagers and those in their early twenties or perhaps to people like me, who may not fit into either of these categories but who is in fact refusing to grow up. It is sweet to the point of sickliness at times but it is right up my street. The fragrance is suited for both day and night wear but it might be a good idea to layer it up with a few extra squirts if you are going on a night out.
The fragrance comes in a pink box with golden writing on the front and this is a little taster of what you can expect to find on the inside. The packaging for this product is not really my thing at all and it isn't something that I want to have out on display in my bathroom. It is a bit cheap looking and it most certainly doesn't have class written anywhere on it. But not too worry, I've always been told it's what's on the inside that counts! The bottle is made of clear glass and you can see the apple juice coloured liquid inside.
Around the neck of the bottle you will find there is tied a pretty pink bow which has some golden charms attached to it and the word Couture in gold attached like a chain. The design on the front of the bottle is particularly chavtastic and it has a jewel shaped lid. When you remove the lid, you see the dispenser and you push down on this to release the fragrance.
The fragrance is on par with most fragrances costing around £35 for 30ml. Other sizes are available including 50ml and 100ml although these obviously cost more.
You only need a few squirts of this fragrance in order to get the desired results. An ample amount of the fragrance comes out with each push of the dispenser and it has a good range on it so make sure you're not holding it too close. I really love the aroma of this perfume and I got a bit squirt happy on my first use. If you overdo it then this becomes far too sweet, even for someone like me, and somehow becomes heavy and musky. I've found two or three squirts to be more than enough. The aroma stays strongly with me for a good few hours and it is present enough even after that to last the whole day so reapplication is unnecessary. People have commented on this fragrance regularly with only one or two people saying that they found it too sweet. It seems that most of the comments come from men too which I haven't really found with a perfume before so this one may be a good buy for the single ladies amongst you.
All in all, if you like things sweet then you can't go far wrong with this. It is a fun and flirty fragrance, suitable for day and night, and that is long lasting. It's not a very grown up scent and the aroma nor the packaging screams sophistication but if you're after a youthful fragrance that will complement your wild side then this is well worth a try.
After sitting in a departure lounge for 2 hours waiting for a delayed flight to Fuerteventura 2 years ago, I spent a while browsing the perfume shops dotted about. I had a bit of an obsession with Juicy Couture at the time, I ran to the counter and sprayed the prettiest bottle - which happened to be Viva La Juicy.
The perfume in 50ml cost £68 at the airport so I decided to save up my money and wait. I never did buy the perfume but my dad remembered me wanting it. This year for Christmas (2 and a bit years later) he brought it for me! Its the best present I ever got and I'm trying my hardest not to spray it constantly because I'd like it to last. I got mine in a gift set with the body lotion too which is lovely. The perfume is now a little cheaper costing only £48 in department stores such as Debenhams and House of Fraser.
When it comes to the bottle, I find it to be quite typical Juicy Couture. Its in a sort of elongated cube shape with a diamond shaped lid. The bottle is clear and shows the transparent gold coloured perfume inside, there is also the Juicy Couture logo on the front made from glass. Its hard to explain! There is a giant pink bow around the lid with a couple of charms hanging down. I am not sure if every bottle has the same charms but mine has one which says 'Couture' and another which is a 'J' with diamantees on it.
The bottle is really girly and bright which I love. I hate boring bottles and it puts me off the perfume if it is boring.
I find this to be one of the only perfumes which doesn't pong of chemicals when you open the lid. Like most it is initially too strong but after a while it becomes really fruity and gorgeous. I would call this quite a young scent as it isn't one which older ladies would like - more young adults. To sum the fragrance up it is very sweet and fruity (currently have my nose stuck to the bottle). It reminds me a lot of summer with its berry-like scent and I can also smell a little vanilla. Its quite strong and long lasting so it gets lots of compliments!
When it comes to spraying the fragrance, you don't need more than one or two squirts to get a decent scent into the air. I found that when it was sprayed on my neck, I kept getting slight wafts in my face which were lovely. I am quite pleased it lasts all day and it doesn't need to be re-applied.
I haven't really got any bad points with this fragrance, or the body lotion which smells exactly the same as the fragrance but in a thick cream. I will go into this in another review as this one is purely about the perfume. The only thing which may be an issue is the fact it is quite expensive, this is down to the brand name. I have to admit, it is worth the price tag though.
Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture is a great perfume.
After the first spray i was hooked. It smells delicious but also stays on the skin for hours. I was continuously smelling it throughout the day which is exactly what you want from a perfume.
The smell is not too overpowering that it cant be worn in the day, but not too subtle for evenings,so it is great for both day and night.
I have worn Ghost night for years for evenings but have been tempted by this perfume.
I have many compliments whilst wearing it as the it can be smelt by others for hours after applying it, which not all perfumes do.
It is more on the expensive side however, but not compared to others such as Chanel and Jean Paul Gautier. As it is longlasting it is good quality for money and not much is needed so it does last a good while.
Overall, i would definately recommend it.
I bought a rollerball version of this perfume recently in order to try it out before buying and I must say I will definitely be looking to get a full size of this perfume soon!
The perfume comes in a hot pink box with Viva la Juicy written on in gold lettering. The perfume comes in an embellished and extravagant glass bottle, with a pink ribbon around the nape of the bottle holding the juicy couture charm which sits the front of the bottle. The lid for this perfume is solid and the bottle itself is quite weighty so this is not one for carrying around in your handbag. Fortunately Juicy Couture sell both a solid and rollerball version of this perfume so you can buy it in whichever form or size suits you best.
The price for this perfume is somewhat costly, with a 30ml bottle costing £35 from Boots.com. I would, as with many other more expensive perfumes, state that you do need less of this product to achieve the desired scent then you would with a cheaper perfume. One or two squirts of this is sufficient to last at least half the day if not more. I would say if you have the money to treat yourself then definitely head to a perfume counter and give this a sniff!
The scent is described on the juicy couture website as having top notes of wild berries and mandarin, the perfume also containts honeysuckle, gardenia and jasmine. The underlying scents of this perfume are warm amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and praline.
I have to say the perfume smells strong yet refreshing, however it is not as sickly as it may sound, the prominent scnets are definitely the mandarin, gardenia and jasmine. I can't really pick out too much of the caramel, vanilla or praline which is good as I think they would be to sweet if they were more overpowering withing the perfume.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this perfume, the extravagant packaing makes you feel you are really treating yourself with every spritz! The scent lasts well and is noticable without being too overpowering, something which Juicy Couture perfumes seem to excel at!

What originally comes to my mind when thinking of the brand 'Juicy Couture' are there velour tracksuits that (no offence to anyone who owns one) I cannot stand. I have always thought that this label was very loud (hence the juicy part of the name) and suited to WAGs and the like as it was often through seeing the label on footballers wives that I ever saw their products. However when, on the television, I saw their advert for their new fragrance 'Viva La Juicy' I was intrigued. This advert really appealed to me as it was young, current and different to what I expected Juicy Couture to be. When, soon after, I was given the opportunity to test the scent I was immediately hooked.
The Company's description of the product:
One day in a land called Pacoima two nice girls created a Juicy Eau de Parfum that smells like Couture. Then they said, "Wait a minute. We want more!" It should be haute. It should be couture. But no matter what, it's got to be Juicy for sure. And that's how they created VIVA LA JUICY. Smells like couture!
My friends all agree with me that this is a scent that grows on you and gradually becomes an addiction. When I first smelt it in the tester bottle I felt it had a rather chemically smell to it; however I wafted my tester card around for a couple of minutes and re-sniffed. My second sniff was more to my taste and so I decided (rather impulsively- but I am a sucker for a nice perfume) to purchase the 30ml bottle. Each sniff since the first has me loving this scent more and more.
How it smells:
Top notes: Juicy mandarin and wild berries.
Heart notes: Honeysuckle, jasmine petals and gardenia.
Base notes: Amber, caramel woods, vanilla, sandalwood and praline.
What I really love about this scent is that it has a beautiful fruity scent yet doesn't smell overly sweet like some fruity perfumes. Due to this I find that all thought its target audience (judging from their advert campaigns) is for the younger female, any age could wear this as it almost has a classic smell about it. The scent seems to cling to the body and not want to leave which is brilliant as it last longer than most perfumes I own but can be bad if you spray that bit too much as it quickly becomes overpowering.
This is a very summery scent for me and I'm glad that (thanks to the weather improving) I can begin to wear this delicious smell once again.
I do not like the appearance of this bottle of perfume whatsoever. It looks exactly how I picture Juicy Couture to look in my head (Pink and over the top). Although I am a self-confessed girly girl I found the big pink bow and gold couture charm very tacky and something that a young teenager would love (I know I would have about six years ago!)
If it were not for the big bow and charm, then the bottle looks rather nice. It is clear so that you can see what level your perfume is at and how much remains (which is always handy!) and has the Juicy Couture logo in grey on the front of the bottle, which is of decanter style.
Price and where to buy:
This perfume can be bought from department stores such as Debenhams and House of Fraser but also in shops such as Boots and The Perfume store.
However I have found this product cheapest to buy on Feelunique.com where prices range from: £29.75 - £51.00.
With a product like this you are paying more for the brand but with a scent like this it is worth it. However as I always say for perfumes, wait until Christmas where places such as The Perfume Store often run special deals and promotions. Gift sets for fragrances can often work out cheaper than buying the scent on its own and they also make excellent presents!
Although not my favourite perfume I do love the scent of Viva La Juicy. I get a lot of compliments while wearing this and since wearing this most of my friends now own a bottle of this beautiful perfume. This would make a brilliant gift (If you were able to part from such a lovely scent - I know I couldn't)
I give this product four out of five stars, with it not reaching the full quota due to the design of the product. That said I would definitely recommend this product.
Thank you for reading my review.
Juicy Couture is a fashion brand offering clothing, handbags, accessories and also fragrance.
*~*Viva La Juicy*~*
Viva La Juicy is the newest fragrance release by Juicy Couture. This Eau de Parfum is aimed at Couture lovers who want something juicier than the original Juicy Couture scent. Its matching body products include a body lotion, shower gel, body creme, solid perfume and dusting powder allowing the wearer to be ultra juicy!
The bottle for Viva La Juicy is a jazzed up version of the original scent. A thick, faceted, glass decanter style bottle holds the gold tinted fragrance. The lid is clear and gem like clicking onto a silver sprayer. The difference in design is down to the additional features making this bottle unique. The Juicy Couture logo is embossed on the front of the bottle and a gold effect charm stating "couture" dangles from a gorgeous, fuschia pink bow.
Viva La Juicy offers 3 sets of fragrance notes which develop on the skin through wear.
*Top notes offer the initial scent - wild berries and mandarin
*Heart notes create the body of the scent - jasmine petals, gardenia and honeysuckle
*Base notes offer the lasting scent on the skin - caramel woods, praline, vanilla, sandalwood and amber
*~*Availability and Price*~*
Viva La Juicy is widely available on the highstreet and online. The bottle size stocked varies but this is available in 30, 50 and 100ml sizes.
*Boots : £35.00 - £46.00 (100ml not available here)
*Amazon : £44.95 - £62.64 (also a rollerball 7.4ml available for £8.61
*Feelunique.com : £29.75 - £51.00
I always considered Juicy Couture merchandise rather tacky (no offence)..I think the tracksuits give that impression to be honest! Anyway, not one to be put of a fragrance because of its creater, I purchased a bottle of Viva La Juicy in my local Bairds store in the post Christmas sales. I didn't buy this blind though, I tried a tester the previous day and allowed it to settle before making my decision. I purchased a 30ml bottle and believe I paid around £20.00 at the time which isn't too bad for fashion brand.
Some may find the bottle a tad on the tacky side but I really love it and find it contemporary, fashionable and bang on for the company in general. It is quite weighty and I'm glad I purchased the 30ml as I feel the 100ml would be a nightmare to carry around for topping up whenever I feel like doing so. The perfume is tinted but lucky doesn't stain fabrics etc. The spray top offers a fine blast of scent onto my skin and I can begin to appreciate delightful scent offered by Viva La Juicy.
*~*Oohh La La*~*
I have learned not to judge a fragrance by the first scent my nose picks up on as it usually changes quite quickly. I had high expectations that this would be a "stand out" scent. On spraying, I wasn't all that taken with Viva La Juicy. Don't get my wrong, it was a gorgeous aroma but it lacked the juiciness I wanted. Before getting down to business, the scent was quite simple yet classy and reminded me of the general opening aroma offered by Chanel perfumes. Chanel and Juicy Couture are nothing alike in my mind so this confused me somewhat.
Anyway, this classic aroma soon slips away being swiftly replaced with a more attractive, noticeable burst of fruitiness. It is quite a fresh scent which offers a delicious, sweet and juicy aroma. I feel there is an even balance of berries for sweetness and mandarin for a citrus punch and its quite cocktail like which gives poolside notions on holiday! The freshness of the top notes starts to fade and the scent changes to an overall sweet, pure scent which flutters into the body of the scent.
The heart of Viva La Juicy is light and airy thanks to the choice of floral notes used. The gardenia is the dominant note here, offering a clean cut scent and whilst combined with the honeysuckle, is pleasant without being overbearing. The jasmine petals sweep in as an undertone and unlike jasmine in its natural state, isn't as sensual so doesn't detract from the freshness of the heart. The sweetness from the top notes acts as an undertone lacing the heart and I love this aspect.
The base notes develop around 6hours after the initial spray of Viva La Juicy. Forget juiciness, forget bright and fresh scents, the base is highly addictive but totally different from what you would expect from a brand such as Juicy Couture. It is ultra creamy and sweet thanks to the vanilla and sandalwood and is deep and sensual thanks to the other notes mentioned. The base notes are quite strong and those close to me can also take in the sweetness yet not experience a sickly notion. If I get my nose up close to my skin, I can detect a hint of nuttiness which isn't too much but enough to make the base different and unique. Whilst I can appreciate the base notes on my skin for a further 4hours or so, the scent attatches itself to my clothing and can be smelt the following day.
*~*Juicy For Everyone?*~*
The brand in general would be aimed at the younger generation such as myself but in all honesty, Viva La Juicy is such a versatile scent, it could be worn by any age. It is perfect for day time wear and lasts most of the day.
I love Viva La Juicy as its such an attractive, appealing scent that changes so well that its like wearing 3 different perfumes. It lasts well and comes in a stunningly beautiful bottle and I can happily recommend it to you all. Wearing this perfume makes me feel confident and special and as my bottle has just ran out, I intend on purchasing another bottle when funds permit!
Thanks for reading :)
Working in a perfume department over Christmas was very tempting, and although I was good enough to hold out until after the New Year, I couldn't resist whist killing time at Duty Free taking a short break a couple of weeks ago. After getting my hands on this fragrance in rollerball format as part of a set, I was dying for a full-sized spray.
Although I see the Juicy Couture brand as on the whole, dare I say it, a little tacky and immature for my particular style, their fragrance is something else. With the exception of Peace, Love and Juicy, the fragrance line smells quite similar and is exactly the type of scent I enjoy. That said, Viva La Juicy is the one that fits me the best and is taking over from my old staple, DKNY's Be Delicious.
The bottle itself is simple and classic, with a touch of Juicy Couture flair of course. The heavy glass bottle is topped with a plain cut glass lid. However, around the bottle neck lies a pink bow and (tacky) faux gold Juicy Couture charm. I will admit that I took it off immediately as, while the bow alone looked cute, it cheapened the look for me and it was impractical as it falls off every time you open the lid. Although a little small, it is on an elastic so you could use it as a hair accessory or pin it to a bag or coat if you wanted to add a touch of flair. For me, it has been very much discarded on a shelf. The bottle has a gold crest logo on the front and I find it to be simple and pleasing, actually looking more like a men's cologne bottle.
Upon first spraying this scent, it is quite harsh and chemical. As with most fragrances, it does require a few minutes to settle and it really is worth the wait. I'd bear that in mind if you are planning to test this in a store. I love sweet, soft, warm scents and this covers all those bases, whilst still being light and fun which I also look for. It's definitely a young scent, and I detect the honeysuckle, caramel and vanilla tones most of all. These are complimented by wild berries, mandarin, gardenia and jasmine to give a very pleasant scent which is noticeable without being too in-your-face. Whenever I wear this I get a lot of compliments.
As I said, the scent takes a little while to warm up, and the notes that stick around the longest are the warm, sweet ones I like the best. Despite this, it's not at all sickly and very wearable. I now don't really notice the scent on myself, which they say means that something suits you, but I love to pick up the scent when I put on an item of clothing.
This is an eau de parfum, meaning that less is more. I find that only a couple of squirts is enough to give me pleasing coverage that lasts throughout most of the day, and I still have my lovely rollerball to back me up if I want to go straight out on an evening. That said, this is more of a daytime, everyday scent which is suitable for work or studying. I do feel it is more suited to a younger woman, but scent being a very personal choice that is by no means a rule!
You can find this scent most commonly in the 50ml size for around £45. It is sold in bigger Boots stores, Debenhams, House of Fraser etc, anywhere with the range of Juicy Couture perfumes. I really recommend this for any young, free spirits looking for a sweet scent.
JUuicy Couture Viva La Juicy is a lovely perfume. It retails for around £60 for a 60ml bottle but is definitely worth every penny. I received this perfume as a gift on my birthday and have fallen in love with it. The scent lasts for about 3-4 hours which is plently for me.
The top notes are wild berries and mandarin
The base notes are amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and praline.
When smelling this perfume the vanilla is quite dominant which is great for me as vanilla is my favourite scent. However the vanilla and base notes in this perfume are not heavy but very light and leaves me feeling quite flirty. it is a very fun scent. The only criticism is that it is not very reasonably priced but it does last a long time. I have almost finished my first bottle 7 months after receiving it. It is definitely my faovurite perfume and I one that I will repurchase.
If you can, go into a perfume shop or any shop that sells this perfume and smell. This scent will not disappoint you.
I purchased Viva La Juicy from Wal-Mart. It was the smallest size, I believe 30ml. This fragrance at first is very flowery then melts down to a sweet and caramel fragrance as is sits on your skin. I love sweet fragrances and this is one of my favorites. The only draw back to this is it doesn't seem to last. I usually get compliments from friends when I initially spray it on; however, I no longer smell it after 3 to 4 hours after putting it on; which is a draw back for me. The perfume is quite pricey and I love to leave the whif of fragrance as a walk by groups of people and its difficult to to this with this perfume; as you have to continually re-spritz throughout the day which can prove expensive. However, it is quite soft and doesn't seem to offend others which is great especially since I work closely to others in a cubicle....Also, men seem to love sweet smelling fragrances and I always get compliments from my boyfriend once I initially spray; however, he doesn't seem to smell it once its been on for a while. Overall, this is a good product that I would purchase again in a larger size.
I got this from a friend that wasn't so keen on it. She had used some of it, but I like things for free so I happily took it. I like Perfume as well, so why not give someting a use when you don't have to pay for it.
This is in a 30ml bottle and after looking online I didn't see it in any other bottle size. That's not to say it isn't available in another size somewhere though. I couldn't believe how much this sold for though. The 30ml on a website that I often use for Perfumes had this selling at £40. Pretty expensive for such a small amount of scent.
The box and bottle look like the Dooyoo picture. I thought the box looked a bit cheap. With the pink box and the large gold writing it doesn't scream expensive for me, but I suppose it stands out. The bottle is lovely though. Again maybe not all sophisticated and all that, but it is nice. The glass is really thick. You can see the light yellow liquid through the glass and the writing. The lid is a tall and shiny lid. Best bit probably is the nice Pink bow tied around the neck of the bottle. Probably one of the prettiest looking bottles i've seen.
So how does this smell? It's nice and the scent lingers well as well. The notes that are in here are Sandalwood, Berries, Orange, Honey, Jasmine, and some sweeter scents which smell like vanilla and perhaps a bit Caramel as well. It does smell mainly sweet, but there is a sparkling scent mixed through this and the Fruity scents as well. Can't smell many Floral scents in here, and the Sandalwood and Jasmine adds a bit of a Musky, rich, heavier scent to it.
This is a really nice scent. After I sprayed this in the morning I could still smell it about 6 hours later at a decent strenght.
Would I buy this? I probably would, but I wouldn't at the price that i've saw it as. It is really nice, but just that bit expensive.
Can't get enough couture? Well here's even more, for Juicy girls who want it all. Juicy Couture presents Viva La Juicy, an enticing scent of wild berries and mandarins, honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine. To round it out, amber, caramel, vanilla, sandalwood, and praline add just the right touch of sweetness. It's bottled in a bold gold decanter decorated with Juicy charms.
