Advantages: Fresh, sweet girly scent, good value for money.

Disadvantages: Some snobbery around perfume being from the Katie Price brand

I was bought this perfume as a present from a friend.... Oh how my face dropped.. A perfume by Katie Price surely it can't be any good?! I smiled thanked my friend and then when she had gone thought, what on earth am I going to do with this and culdnt believe she had bought me a "Katie Price bit of tat". However once I actually had a smell of the perfume I actually realised it was very good and I would be wearing it regularly. Yes , all of you disbelievers and fellow snobs, this perfume is actually very good.


***Packaging ***
The perfume alone comes in a small pink box. On the front of the box is Katie Price's face with the name of the perfume "Stunning" written in silver shiny writing. The gift set which includes a body lotion is in a bigger box however the design is very much the same a pink box with Katie's face on the front of the box.

The bottle is lovely and definitely one which looks great displayed on a dressing table. The bottle reminds me very much of a pretty girly atomiser that you often see displayed on dressing tables. The bottle is clear with a light pink perfume inside. The bottle is almost like a diamond shape, thin base with a rounded wide top, with sides carved like a diamond. The lid is also carved to look like a diamond. On the next of the bottle the stunning by Katie Price is written. The part of the bottle is silver so for all of you snobs out there the Katie Price name isn't visible unless you look closely!

***Price***
The price of the perfume varies depending on the retailer. The RRP for a 50ml bottle is £24.99 and for a 30ml bottle its £18.00. I have seen the 50ml bottle available for £18.00 online however. You can also get the perfume as a gift set which includes a 50ml bottle and two body lotions which the RRP is £34.99; I have seen this available online for £25.00. In comparison to other perfumes and in particular other celebrity branded perfumes, Stunning by Katie Price is very good value for money.

***Scent ***
The official description of the perfume is :

" The perfume features clean mandarin, developing to a fruity heart note and long lasting violet and jasmine. The lasting background notes are blends of patchouli and bergamot

I was very impressed with the scent which came as a big shock to me at first. The main smell is quite fresh and citrus like without being as strong a citrus smell as DKNY woman, Stunning has more of a sweet undertone

I like girly sweet but fresh perfumes and this definitely ticks this box for me. Unlike some other "girly" perfumes this is sweet without being sickly and it's fresh and doesn't have a strong floral tone.

The perfume is quite strong when it is first sprayed and if you spray too much it will be overpowering. But as the day goes on the perfume wears off but after 6 hours your still can smell a nice fresh scent. I never re spray myself with the perfume however some people may do so if they like quite a strong smelling perfume.

To give you an idea of other perfumes I like I'm a big fan of Gucci II, Vera Wang Princess, Gucci Rush, DKNY Woman Hugo Intense to name a few. I would actually say Stunning by Katie Price is an amalgamation of smells between Gucci II and Vera Wang Princess, but at half the cost of both of these perfumes.

I actually think I have had about 10 people comment on the perfume and how nice I smell when wearing it. It's been described by others as "a fresh clean smell" and "sweet but not overpowering and sickly".

***Summary ***
I was bought this perfume by a friend as a present and once I ran out of this.... I went and bought another bottle myself. I'm afraid to say it as I was a bit of a snob at first when I was given a Katie Price "branded bit of merchandise" but actually fair play to Katie Price it's a nice scent. Very girly, but fresh and sweet at a reasonable price. Plus the bottle looks good on a dressing table. I'm not a big fan of celebrity endorsed perfumes, I nearly threw up at the smell off the perfume by "Colleen" and "Alex Curran" they definitely are ones for the bin. But as for this one I am eating my own words and I would definitely recommend Stunning by Katie Price.
